or just watch misaeng's director and my liberation notes's screenwriter collab, you know that show you smug little ass won't name because it's too popular

There countless threads on a show where he is infamously known for right now, so there no need to clog it up more
I liked it a lot. The humor is great, the thriller parts have good tension, and the mysteries are interesting. The only downsides are the gay old men and the fact that there's almost no way season 2 will give satisfying answers.
I got half-interested in kpop because of the kpop MVs they'd play before Korea Time on the Starcraft broadcasts, and IU is still the cutest kpop idol ever after 12 years. An actual case of first girl is best girl.
Anyone else think this show would have been better if they never showed what the outies were doing and instead kept that for the last episode of the season?
At this point I hope we don't get a season2. All of the momentum has been lost and the writers will not be able to recapture the magic of the first season
From what they've said the original script for the final episode was longer and dealt with the immediate aftermath of what happened, but when filming they thought it'd be better if they ended on a cliffhanger. So they at least figured out that much, what happens right after that last scene.
elaborate
>great premise
>very cool minimalist aesthetic that is reminiscent of Wes Anderson and 50s corporate on the severed floor
>great acting
just a really good show. My only fear is that it will be like Lost in season 2 with no payoff
very well you've convinced me, I am watching the first episode now
>reminiscent of Wes Anderson
was tempted to watch until i read this
It's basically nothing at all like Wes Anderson except the coloring
Sort of a matte pastelle look supposed to be unsettling "gentle" look
not op but i hate wes anderson and love severance
>2777 AUC
>STILL doesn’t understand LOST
holy shit how dumb can you be?
It’s obvious they never even watched LOST but are parroting
>lost shills
>in 2023
Jesus
Back to plebbit, newfriend. I heard they LOVE Sopranos, The Wire, True Detective, Oz, and Breaking Bad there. You’ll fit right in.
Cinemaphile usually have the worst arguments in favor of a show.
kino
Zesty
>Apple TV
who the HELL subscribe to this
Who the hell doesn't just pirate everything?
apple gays
Zoomers and those who are comfortable wasting money.
What if I want to financially support niche shit I like?
They're going to frick it all up in season two. I know it. You know it.
>directed by Ben Stiller
So was Tropic Thunder (2008), probably why it's such a great movie.
WHERE IS SEASON TWO
writers strike probably caused some delays else we would have had some trailers by now
Apparently there are also 2 showrunners for this thing and they are feuding. I'm nervous.
If you like Severance and like the ennui aspect of the wagecuck style you mind as well pick up misaeng and my liberation notes.

>starring IU
picked up
that said I haven't seen a single thread for it
He was in Parasite. There was like 5 threads on him last night. Felt a little sad about his death, so I didn't want to mention it.
He also was in Mister and was fantastic in it.
good pick

I hope we get more of that gay romance with the two granpas, it only took like half of season 1 runtime

Yep.
I love Helly so much bros.
Speaking of korean shows, was Arthdal Chronicles any good? I liked the first 2 episodes and then got busy and forgot about it
Sucked
He just lifted ideas from Philip K Dick so it’s not like he’s original
Watch better shows (moron)
Recommend some.
The entire show is based on 1 (one) black mirror episode, I would suggest you watching that instead of a shallow show with no content
You don't need to sign your post here, Anon.
amazing show more should watch
Good show. Hopefully they will end it soon, good shows tend to get cancelled after few seasons.
Huh, the Severance race schizo seems to have given up.
Season 2 of Severance will still be out before season 2 of Smiling Friends despite that show being a shittly drawn cartoon with 10 minute episodes
Bros how likely do you think they actually planned the mysteries in a satisfying way, rather than ass pull like LOST?
With the goats I thought they lost it for a while but S1 was really good

Ben Stiller has always been kino when he works behind the camera
Checked but something tells me Secret Life of Walter Mitty and Zoolander 2 aren't gems.
didn't watch Z2 but Walter Mitty is good
