>Did you think Saul was going to go Super Saiyan lawyer mode and defeat the judge in a one-on-one battle of words?
He was literally doing that until he cucked out for Kim. 7 Years was fricking nothing and he threw that shit away.
Remind me what Saul did that was so awful his karma demands he do life in prison, while Jesse who murdered people and was basically a cartel buttonman, gets to frick off in alaska
This is genuinely horrifying, like BB and BCS weren't great but they were good relative to most of the literate shit we get and will continue to have for the foreseeable future, this is it, the last decent show
Yes he should've come clean to the cops like a good little boy, confess to all his crimes and put Lydia, Jack, Jesse and Todd in prison before the final scene of him getting shanked to death by a bunch of inmates
So did you like the ending? Was it satisfying as a Breaking Bad prequel? Did you like Jimmy's character arc? Do you like it more than Breaking Bad? Do you think it's better than BrBa?
takes the 7 years
kim gets sued for sprinkler money. who cares
kim fricks him in jail on his birthday
after seven years he gets out with a six year old son kim named charles
Car chase with jimmy while he calls the vacuum guy. Vacuum guy says “no way”. Jimmy makes his escape and flees to Mexico. Kim becums the new prison b***h.
One issue is that Jimmy defending Chuck in court, at least on the way he did, didn’t feel deserved. Otherwise I thought it was an amazing finale for Jimmy’s character.
Jimmy and Kim was always the real heart of the show so it ended appropriately. On the whole I give it an 8/10 but the final scene was absolutely perfect. Frick speedwatching Black folk, and frick anyone who ever thought that anything involving Gus and the cartel was anywhere near as interesting as the lawyer stuff.
I didn't want to oversell it given the fact this board has more homosexuals who watch shit like Euphoria than chads who enjoyed Oz. It's a great series but it went into decline after the double length 4th season.
The plea deal was a con. He wanted them to send him to the prison he has a lot of former clients in. He knew he'd be a nobody leading a meaningless life after the 7 years passed so he chose to have good company.
The lesson is: Nobody can change, they are born the way they are. Jimmie was a scamartist and he always will be. So he sent himself to prison so he couldn't hurt anybody else.
he LITERALLY almost did, talked down a life sentence to only seven( 7) years in some white collar prison. but NO he just had to play the big simp in the end
This. In the end he was a villain protagonist who got away with it with words and being slimy but does himself in because the one thing he could never get away from is his conscience.
Weaker? I would say yes because breaking bad has that leeway to be violent and I don't really see Better Call Saul doing that but in its own way I'm satisfied with the ending
can't, you're right. Compare all that happened in BB's final five episodes to BCS's final episodes. Sure, it's a slow burn, especially when shots of characters walking to their car take five minutes
Without the snippets that just served as cameos everything that happened in all of the Gene episodes could be in 1-2 episodes
The final shootout in BB was capeshit on par with lalo's antics this season. This was actual kino, why the frick would people want Saul to take the plea deal or escape when there's barely any runtime left, there'll be no closure to his arc and would just be sequel bait. Instead he's in a prison where all the other prisoners like him and gets to live a comfy life. This is unironically the best ending for him
Why are you comparing them? BB had pleb shootout in its finale. This was a thinking man’s finale
Weaker? I would say yes because breaking bad has that leeway to be violent and I don't really see Better Call Saul doing that but in its own way I'm satisfied with the ending
I'm not talking about violent spectacles. The final BB shootout was 1% of the length of that episode anyway. We just watched a guy dick around for 4 episodes. All but one person important to him was dead, there was hardly anything to conclude.
I think it was more so Jimmy can kind of prove to himself and to everybody that he could change, since everybody the whole show says he's been a bad guy and that's the path he's chosen
I probably would've merged the ID scams and the cancer guy heist into one episode, and for Waterworks, I probably would've had Saul trying to escape for at least half the episode before getting caught. Then we'd get a full episode of Saul's trial for the finale.
Then, Saul gets away with it (getting only 7 years) but finds a way to confess everything without being held accountable. Dunno how he'd do it but that's what Slippin' Jimmy is an expert at.
I’m a Chicagogay so I really enjoyed it the Cinemaphile reference in the first episode was pretty cringey but everything else was absolute kino especially the last two episodes
>completely random and mostly pointless chuck scene
moronic, the scene was supposed to be a sting towards how the audience felt about Chuck, with a majority of them on Jimmy's side now seeing that Chuck wanted to mend his relationship with Jimmy.
Honestly loved the finale but i’ve always hated the black and white shit. Literally my only complaint is that I wanted to see the final few scenes in color
>Better Call Saul
literally what
I can't stand this guys face and his acting is so wooden. Hard to imagine this could be good when I want to punch the main characters face.
>the saul cycle is finally over, jimmy might have finally found redemption within himself, he could had more lies and schemes but choses not to >morons will say nothing happens
He'll never change. He'll NEVER change. Ever since he was nine, always the same - couldn't keep his hands out of the cash drawer. But not our Jimmy! Couldn't be precious Jimmy!? Stealing them blind! And HE gets to be a lawyer? What a sick joke! I should've stopped him when I had the chance! And you, you have to stop him. You
Jimmy couldn't change, but at least realized it and decided to do what's best for everyone. Chuck on the other hand never even began to realize how awful he was to the only family he had left. He died a terrible hateful brother.
I dont think that scene makes you feel bad for him at all, he basically just tells jimmy he will never change and implies he would indeed not do the same for jimmy if he was sick like him.
Chuck was an butthole but he was right about jimmy from the start, he has never been able to help himself, even now when he could have gotten 7 years without fricking Kim over with the first deal he had to frick it all up because it’s who he is, a frick up.
If he wont change why the sudden guilt over chuck on the trial
This whole he wont change but he has a guilty conscience but not really is kinda shit, have him fall into a breakdown or demonstrate that he is still am butthole, as some guy said, no half measures
Jimmys entire character is he cant help himself.
Chuck even acknowledges the pain he feels from his actions is real, he always had the guilt but he just hid it before. The walt and mike time machine flashbacks are supposed to further show that.
Unironically solid ending. Everyone crying he didn't come up with one last gamble to get out free is a fricking brainlet who didn't understand a single second of the show.
>tries to make people realize suffering is an inherent part of life and trying to actively circumvent suffering will only cause more problems long-term >she is somehow evil
What she did was awful, she genocided her world, but it was ultimately out of love for mankind and that it could push forward while being able to confront suffering and torment.
I was kind of hoping Kim would be his lawyer in court but I like that she’ll be working and loving him for the rest of his life.
It’s what he truly wanted all along.
I just remembered when it was finishing, the year 2016 when I only had the first season in my library, was the starting of season 2. I remember Jimmy and his positive view on his future and the chase of money. I see myself in him but I haven't got to the walter white part in my life yet and seeing how it ends I don't think I'd like to. I like Jimmy cause he reminds me of my childhood.
>Imagine throwing away 80 years of your life just so the childless barren old roastie you knew several years ago that gets piped by random middle age suburbanite dads would come to your jail cell and smoke a cigarette with you
Once Saul jerk offs for the first time in his jail cell and gets hit with that sweet post-nut clarity he is going to FREAK and try as hard as he can to get a retrial
Goodbye guys, i really enjoyed it, i mean... i didnt like the ending other than the chuck and saul flashback, was pretty great and going back in it im gonna find it really depressing, anyway, its fine.
K I N O K I N O K I N O K I N O K I N O K I N O K I N O K I N O K I N O K I N O K I N O K I N O K I N O K I N O K I N O K I N O K I N O K I N O K I N O K I N O K I N O K I N O K I N O K I N O K I N O K I N O K I N O K I N O K I N O K I N O K I N O K I N O K I N O K I N O K I N O K I N O K I N O K I N O K I N O K I N O K I N O K I N O K I N O K I N O K I N O K I N O K I N O K I N O K I N O K I N O K I N O K I N O K I N O K I N O K I N O K I N O K I N O K I N O K I N O K I N O K I N O K I N O K I N O K I N O K I N O K I N O
They literally ask him why he's talking about chuck when it has no relevance as hes not on trail for that. He was on that stand to confess not play the game.
he aknowldegd chuck was a frick but that he couldve handled it better, instead he used his passion to frick over chuck when really jimmy could've been more. he's got the mind of a conman, he's not destined to be one but its super easy for him.
One thing you should take from this anon, is that if you are going to do bad shit, get as much info as you can, as much information as possible, as many contacts as you can, even be part of as many events as possible, and never ever speak a word until you can trade it for a jail free card against the government.
He can't make amends you moron, the whole prison forces him to retain his identity as Saul. That's his penance for all the shit he's done. He doesn't get the privilege of doing a 180 and reclaiming Jimmy McGill
Damn.
Uh, do any other attractive women get naked or pee themselves?
I can't justify watching the rest otherwise, the lawyer drama and tinfoil autism got really boring for me and I just wanted to see wacky clients and small claims court drama and so on.
I'm sorry...I loved this show but WTF was that ending. Can we not have ONE THING that leads up to a good conclusion, the first 30 minutes of the episode have you wanting him to BTFO the fed lawyer but... >muh jimmy plottwist
awful awful ending. I wanted to see him and Kim together at the end. Dumbass Kim ruined the whole thing by squealing to Howard's widow...she should have never done that.
take me to the happy ending timeline.
>3 time travel references in one episode
TIME TRAVEL SCHIZOS, WE WON!
My favorite episode of BB was Granite State, and my favorite episode of BCS is Bagman, so I'm just fricking ecstatic that I got 2 flashbacks to my favorite episodes. Pure Kino
wow better call saul fans are vocal about the ending and they are not happy. Theyre discontented with the way saul got caught and the whole simping for kim thing. I guess they were holding out hope for saul getting away with everything. There's even a petition that's garnered thousands of signatures to have the episode changed. Obviously that wont happen but it shows how unhappy they are.

I forget what he exactly says, but that book is called The Time machine. So maybe that's what brings Jimmy to talk about it with everybody else, I think he says things like that because he has his own regrets and wants to see what everyone else has to say. Cuz I'm typing this I think Chuck says everybody has a path or something like that and clearly the role A Better Call Saul into breaking bad Jimmy did have a path that was not good so I think in the end Jimmy looks at himself and says you know what I'm going to change that path and does the right thing for once
>Saul has an obsession with building a time machine >Time machine is a synonym for regrets - fixing his errors >The Time Machine idea is related to Chuck
It’s over.
It’s really over.
I was 21 when this show premiered, now there’s nothing left worth watching.
I don’t want to watch shows about wheelchair bound Black folk who think they’re women.
I don’t know why I should keep going.
I guess BBtoddlers expected him to orchestrate a plane crash to get him out of prison, since that's the quality of writing they expect from their TV shows.
>Kim literally got away with everything >After fricking confessing to everything
Frick you Vince. She literally instigated the downfall of Howard and SHE gets to be a lawyer?!
He was laundering money for Walt and helped Walt escape after Hanks murder. They literally list all of the charges in the episode. Did you watch it at 2x speed with something else on in the background?
he asked what proof they had for these things
I'm free, no more countdown.
you did good
Did Walt feel flanderized to anyone else? I'd expect him to be annoyed at everything and le reddit science man in earlier scenes, but this scene happens right after his entire life just fell apart and he watched his brother in law get murdered. Also weird how during the regret conversation scene it flashed to his watch as implying that he regrets what he did to Jesse, but in Felina Walt still hates him and was planning on killing him alongside the gang until he found out he was enslaved
>I have to call the cops on this man because he is a.... LE CRIMINAL
I get her being prepared to call the cops because he's a criminal and could frick.her up but he didn't do anything untoward towards her or even attempt to lay the groundwork for a con. So why didn't she give him a chance to explain himself and relish in siccing the police on him?
>thought shed have just ended it with screeching about saul goodman >she followed him to the window and called out his make, model, and license plate too
literally the biggest c**t in the series
He should have yanked off her life alert while he had the chance when she was afraid of him before he pussed out over her guilt trip.
Let this be a lesson, women DO NOT RESPECT WEAKNESS.
After Nippy there was a teaser aerial shot of some roads out in the plains and Gene saying something like "This will all be over soon". Did this actually show up in later episodes I dont remember
Does anyone else feel like committing suicide, not because the show is really good and you'll miss it, but because the finale made you realize how much of your time you've wasted on this show and that you don't deserve the rest of it?
I’m a Chicagogay so I really enjoyed it the Cinemaphile reference in the first episode was pretty cringey but everything else was absolute kino especially the last two episodes
There’s a scene where all these cosplayers and nerds are standing outside the restaurant and getting in fights over the tournament which leads the cousin to name drop Cinemaphile on them which felt really out of character since the guy is the last person who’d know what that is.
I don’t get it, when did Saul decide he wants to confess? If it was after not tying up the old lady, why was he even running? Just suddenly out of nowhere he goes to prison for life on purpose, that’s really out of character. If he wanted to stop being Saul why did he bait the prosecutor into jailing him in a prison with all his former clients? He could easily be out after seven years then be back to crime and make bank.
When he heard about Kim confessing to Howard's death. He knew she did it so he couldn't use it to get an even better deal and her telling him to confess really stuck with him. I think that was the breaking point.
Because if you actually watched the episode, Jimmy found out that Howard's wife was going to sue Kim. He confessed to make it more difficult to sue Kim.
I fricking hate Howard’s EX-wife so much, she never gave a shit out him before he died and exploited his death so hard.
I kind of wish Jimmy called her out in the end.
This has come up in my mind do. I can’t remember if it was mentioned or not but were their marriage issues before Kim and Jimmy started sabotaging Howard? Cause I was thinking maybe hearing your husband is a Coke addict and fricking hookers would cause you to distance yourself. But I don’t know the 100% timeline of events
>HOW THIS RELIEVES KIM FROM BEING FRICKING DESTROYED BY HOWARD'S WIFE?
it doesn't
the legal battle will be the el camino of BCS. just FOUR FRICKING HOURS OF LEGAL DRAMA WHERE THEYH END UP SETTLING OUT OF COURT AND WE'RE NEVER TOLD THE TERMS BECAUSE THAT'S HOW THAT SHIT WORKS IN REAL LIFE BECAUSE FRICK YOUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU
>Jimmy never actually physically harms anyone nor calls any hits and gets a life sentence >Jesse brutally murders multiple people, destroys lives through selling meth and gets to live free
Jesse was unironically worse than Saul in every way and got a happier ending
Jesse, who was manipulated throughout the two years, who suffered the deaths of not one, but two people he loved, who thought that he was, in part, responsible for the potentially lethal poisoning of a child, and someone who is shown to obviously be negatively affected by what is happening to him is a worse person than the lawyer who facilitated, knowingly, and helped Walter White become the drug kingpin for no reason other than personal gain.
lol
>Jesse kills only to stay alive or avenge his fallen friends >Saul helps setup the entire drug empire including helping Walt with contracts
>Jesse's two lovers die and has only two people in the world who care about but will never see him again. Is also still traumatized by years as a slave >Jimmy is a highly favored inmate, will never get fricked with, will get better food, and has a reputation
Why was the final scene not in color? It makes no sense now the contrast of black and white vs color. Seems very unkino of them to not have him finger gun in color
Can you imagine how fricking ancient Carlos Esposito is going to look by the time his spinoff is over? He is going to end up in a wheelchair like Hector.
last we saw him he was talking to Kim whether Saul was a good lawyer or not, weird that he had to ask since he knew him from Breaking Bad and all, guess Vince just had to include him somehow
what did they have against jimmy at the beginning? obviously him admitting to everything got him 86 years, but what evidence did they have at the beginning to sentence him to the 7 years?
He was laundering money for Walt and helped Walt escape after Hanks murder. They literally list all of the charges in the episode. Did you watch it at 2x speed with something else on in the background?
The fricking feds raided his office and got everything. This was discussed on the phone call with Francesca. There are mountains of evidence. Don't ever commit a crime because you are a moron.
Anon, they started him off at life and 100+ years. It was Saul that worked them down to 7 by crafting a story that positioned him an unwilling participant in Walter White's multimillion dollar drug empire.
The only way he could have rigged the jury would have been to tell them how he was forced to aid Walter's schemes. He literally says, "all it takes is one".
He wasn't threatening to rig the jury, he was suggesting that at least one juror would likely be sympathetic to his bullshit story because of his infamous charm.
Walter literally spells it out for you, then jimmy gets on the stand and talks about chuck (who has the time machine book) even though the judge reminds him that's not relevant.
It's a setup for the sequel series where Saul and his prisonmates plot an elaborate escape by building a fully functioning time machine to undo the events of Breaking Bad and prevent their own incarceration.
She's not a lawyer again. She was just volunteering at a law office and posed as Jimmy's lawyer because she still had her BAR card that never had any expiration date printed on it.
>tfw you were blueballed of prison bus riot kino where all the criminals start singing i fought the law and they fight the law and actually win while this cover plays in the background https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9dB_ubVAnGw and escape and they all make a run for it
brehs... we were ROBBED of kino
unironically something like this. Have it be some huge federal case watched on TV (or whatever, sentenced lowered down, some court CHICANERY or bullshit, Saul is the only thing in color, he gets off (or minimal time or whatever). He drives off, uses the money to lure kim back in/ prevent the civil charges from hurting Kim's life, then they live happily ever after
End of an era.
It’s crazy to think how long Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul lasted….it’s been a decade and a half now.
That’s an insane run for a drama TV show.
This is our generation’s Sopranos, try to remember this moment, Cinemaphile when you tell your kids about it.
>I'm Better Call Saul >No, I'm Better Call Saul >I'm the one you really want. I'm Better Call Saul. >Entire courtroom stands up and declares they are all Better Call Saul. >Federal judge drops all charges
Did Walt feel flanderized to anyone else? I'd expect him to be annoyed at everything and le reddit science man in earlier scenes, but this scene happens right after his entire life just fell apart and he watched his brother in law get murdered. Also weird how during the regret conversation scene it flashed to his watch as implying that he regrets what he did to Jesse, but in Felina Walt still hates him and was planning on killing him alongside the gang until he found out he was enslaved
> in Felina Walt still hates him and was planning on killing him alongside the gang until he found out he was enslaved
You can’t prove this.
I do feel like they were trying to portray Walt a little bit like Chuck going crazy. Jesse mentioned it in ‘Fly.’
Did you not see his expression and hear his tone of voice when Skinny Pete confirmed that Jesse was still alive? I might be making shit up but I remember in the raw script it even says that Walt was planning on killing Jesse at first
Walt sperging out over time machines breaking the laws of thermodynamics when it was obviously just a hypothetical question was extremely cringe. I wish Skeet was there to call him a fricking pretentious piece of shit.
Walt didnt regret any of his wrongdoings in breaking bad, his only regret was gray matter. He would probably do it all over again, he was too based for the vinceverse
The same Walter that went to great lengths to fix his water heater, and remove the rotten wood in his basement, and folded a piece of torn magazine paper to fix a wobbly table, and spent hours trying to kill a fly is somehow out of character for doing exactly what he always does?
EL /BCS/ ESTA MUERTO! SUS SHITPOSTERS ESTAN MUERTO! USTEDES NO TIENEN A NADIE MAS POR QUIEN SNEED. LENEN SUS MEMES, Y VAYANSE EN PAZ, O VENGAN A PELEAR CONMIGO, Y MUERAN!
>what if Saul has...LE REGRETS!!!1!
Is this really the best they could come up with? Can't believe I wasted 7 years watching this shitty fricking show.
Answer me this Anons, is anyone else sort of disappointed that nobody found lalo's or Howard's body? Like I enjoyed the finale but I was hoping there be some more closure to that part
I know but I thought maybe they'd have a scene that Saul was possibly told about it or something during the breaking bad. And then maybe he could use that as leverage but oh well
Hank and Gomez were only found because Walt gave Skyler the GPS coordinates of their graves. Nobody alive knows that Howard and Lalo are buried under 6 feet of concrete below Gus Fring's old meth lab.
I responded to a different and on but I thought maybe they would have a scene where maybe Mike tells Saul in the breaking bad world Were those two were and then in the end it would have its resolution, I thought maybe that would be the way he redeems himself in the end
They were decomposed under tbe superlab for like 4 to 5 years and then exposed to a huge ass fire/explosion. Would honestly be weird if their bodies DID get found. I don't think anything could survive that.
The addition of Marie was completely stupid. Never in a million years would the prosecution allow a witness to be in the interrogation room, maybe on the stand in court. I know they bend the rules sometimes for dramatic effect, but in this case it's actually ridiculous. Also now if you want to watch the universe chronologically you have to hop between both shows and El Camino. Pulp Fiction inspiration? Bravo on peak writing, Vince.
jeeez..now what am i gonna obsess over.. christ.. the episode was a little heavy handed with the regrets theme, but it do got me thinking..maybe i should consoom less and get a real life..
>No Schizo Saul ending >No I fought the law ending >No rocket launcher ending >No time travel ending >No Kim & Jim in prison ending >No Kim kills Jim (or vice versa) ending >No return to color >No theme song in full >No final song
>could have gotten a kino finale where Saul is on the brink of getting of Scott free but Kim has to be the one to testify against him >Stupid ending where Saul for no apparent reason suddenly decides hes going to le attorney for his sins
Did anyone here actually think that Saul would do some Doctor Who science shit and go back in time to save Chuck, Howard, and all of the other frickbuddies?
>Nacho commits suicide out of nowhere >Lalo gets killed by Gus in a Marvel-tier shootout scene >Kim becomes a wageslave in Florida >Jimmy gets bored of being incognito and basically gives himself up to go live in a prison
Holy shit, every single character except Howard had a wasted ending in this show.
Nacho killed himself because Gus could just use his father as leverage if he didn't do what he wanted. Plus he was content with telling off Hector to really sell it.
>Kim deserves to rot in prison with Jimmy even though she never helped a murderous drug lord
Having to give up her life's passion to be a mundane wage cuck while Howard's b***h wife tries to keep her broke is a fair punishment.
>muh moralism >the main character MUST confess their wrongs in the last episode
Vince Gilligan is a hack. I hope this moron never works in television ever again.
>muh moralism >the main character MUST confess their wrongs in the last episode
Vince Gilligan is a hack. I hope this moron never works in television ever again.
That was honestly a really good series finale, and it was exactly how I predicted it would end. With Jimmy taking the fall for Kim and spending the rest of his life in prison. Bravo Vince (no sarcasm)
It is. Walt went out guns a blazing and got nearly everything he wanted and didn't spend a day in prison. Saul went out quietly, confessing to everything he did, and will spend the rest of his life in prison. But he can sleep at night knowing that he did the right thing at the end
Walter had a good ending because it was in-character for him. He redeemed himself and did the right thing. He saved Jesse, saved his family, and killed the neo-Nazi scum that killed Hank.
Meanwhile Saul Goodman went to jail for 87 years because he helped kill Hank and Steve Gomez. This is despite the fact he was not involved in their murder at all and had no idea what was going on between Walter and Hank. He had no idea that the shootout in the desert happened, and Walter calls the vacuum cleaner guy on his own accord to flee. Saul doesn't assist in any way past this point and goes over to Nebraska. Yet somehow he's an "accessory after the fact" to their murder despite the fact that Walter White DIDN'T EVEN ORDER THE KILLING!!
That alone should knock 20-30 years off the sentence, but Saul wasn't even involved in the Gustavo Fring organization at any point! Saul introduces Walter to Gus, but he wasn't involved in the Gus Fring org and was beaten down by Mike. So there's a bunch of charges knocked off.
And here's another fact, in Season 5 Saul tries to get out of his relationship with Walter but Walter coerces him into staying. So all those prison murders? The ones that Walter ordered from the neo-Nazis that Saul didn't even know about? He was right when he said Walter intimidated him!
Saul Goodman legitimately deserved 7 years in prison because he didn't do half the shit the government said he did. But hey, "justice has been served" and this show is brilliant for bringing Saul Goodman to "justice" even though fricking Mike directly murdered several people who didn't deserve it (Werner Ziegler anyone?) and is somehow seen as the good guy.
Walter wouldn’t have been anything without Saul. It doesn’t matter that he wasn’t directly making orders, he was still willingly assisting Walter in his decisions and giving counsel.
That’s probably why Jimmy still didn’t get a life sentence because they couldn’t prove his direct involvement in any of Walter’s actions or killings. Really they probably just slammed him for being an accessory to the cartel and being involved in Howard’s murder.
>in america 86 years in prison isn't considered life

He probably was only slightly joking that they may allow him to reduce his sentence with good behavior. 86 can come down quick especially if your smart.
Hell someone like Jimmy they may not want in prison too long because he’d be telling other prisoners how to reduce their sentencing. There’s still a lot of paths Jimmy’s life could go.

He said it because it is what he told just about every single last one of his clients, Jimmy said that good behavior lines a lot, it was a joke that he did not mean

sounds more like Jimmy coping, he's never leaving prison.
Conspiracy to commit a crime means you're on the hook for any crimes committed. BY aiding and abetting Walt he's also responsible for all the crimes Walt committed.
Yeah I still kind of wish he’d used some sort of chemistry shit like he did against Crazy 8 and Tuco, would have fit his character more than some machine gun we don’t even see him get.
>more than some machine gun we don’t even see him get.
Am I being an autist and missing something or did you forget the entire scene where he buys the machine gun in the diner
What in particular in this finale were Vince, Gould, Rhea, etc. hinting at being so controversial/unconventional? It really wasn't that crazy or unpredictable at all.
Jesse got a happy ending after the horrible shit he did, Walt got everything he wanted despite being a monster, people probably expected Saul to take that plea deal
>Jesse got a happy ending after the horrible shit he did
To be fair, he had some of the most terrible things happen to him and definitely deserved peace.
That's just it. The fact that it wasn't balls out crazy is what they were gearing the audience to prepare for. And you still get smoothbrains getting upset it wasn't a spectacle
Honestly the most controversial thing for me was Kim getting away with it. No jail time, no lawsuit, no repercussions that'd cause her to lose her law profession. She literally gets to start anew.
I actually wanted him to escape and have some self reflecting scene where he finally loses it, on the desert or some shit, maybe a final call with Kim apologizing for all the shit he did but she's still pissed and he's about to let his hearth out but the call cuts abruptly, and then he gets caught in some shithole near Mexico right before managing to get vacoom'd and gets shot by a police officer but escapes on his car. He ends up in a spot that's a throwback to BB like the shot car under the small cliff but only the audience notices. Maybe we have a flashback like the one we saw with chuck, then cut to a scene on the night where he has the space blanket. He tries to call Kim again but there's no signal, he knows he's gonna die from bleeding but before he passes out he writes his confession in a bloody notebook he had in the car, the same one he did in the final episode but just in letters, we see short scene of some hunter boomer finding his body inside his car, still on the space blanket but we barely see it, blocked by worn out Saul Goodman matches.
Then we cut to some funeral scene, but there's like 2 people, we see Kim staring at the grave stone from afar, as if she couldn't muster her strength to get close. Francesca appears on frame and tells her if Saul ever died he wanted her to hand her the letter, it's just something personal like that he always loved her and that he wanted to prove Chuck wrong but he never could, but he knew she was legit and deserved much better, then she decides to volunteer and try to do the right thing again, instead of punishing herself.
Basically, one comes out of the other end but in a more dramatic fashion.
>Color representing the past >Being able to share a smoke with Kim again
Saul was able to build his time machine. All it took was giving the feds 79 years.
Did Breaking Bad cheat by having a violent ending? Is that why it's so praised for its ending? Or was it legitimately better at just wrapping things up and finishing Walt's story?
Nah I like how they covered everything >Walt needed to park the car in a perfect place, guy riding with him was clearly upset with that >Todd survived the machine to be dramatically strangled by Jesse, but it wasn't actually dumb luck he lived, his uncle told him to break up the fight on the floor >Lydia was a c**t and just needed to die
Now all the trailers they've shown going into the next week's episode they've always had a certain dialogue that will be played in the next episode. But the one we never heard was the one with Kim giving the oath? That was one of the first trailers they released and we never got to hear that? If we did tell me one because I don't remember I thought that would be said in this episode
Nah then getting back together would have been the worst possible ending.
This ending wasn’t very flashy but I think it was solid and made sense for Jimmy. He gets the love he always wanted in prison, he comes to terms with who he is.
that is what it seems to be leading to.
The goal of media isn't to just tease your nutsack. you gotta eventually get off at some point.
I feel cucked, teased, degraded. but NOT SATISFIED. I wanted to be satisfied. it wasn't good. not everything has to make sense. They could have actually done time travel and it would have been kino or done something where Jimmy escapes into the desert and meets up with Jesse. but instead this MARTYR shit. Its BS. Kim confessing is a contrivance and the non happy ending can eat my butthole. I'm switching timelines
That’s original ending Brazil tier shit. Saul would’ve gotten the 7 years and felt guilty for it, probably would end up living a worse life than Gene. He wanted to do something that would make Chuck proud, show that Kim still cared about him, and redeem what he could in himself and become Jimmy again. His biggest regret in his life was his relationship with Chuck, not slipping. He wishes he could go back in time to repair the relationship they had together
Yes because he’s not Saul internally anymore, he’s Jimmy. He’ll always be Saul to the outside world but that doesn’t help him much. He had an opportunity to do some Saul shit one last time, 7 years, golf, ice cream, the whole shebang. But that would have been a dogshit ending. As depressing as it is, Jimmy gets to live a life in prison where he is celebrated, doesn’t have to live in fear and guilt of being caught, could do the one thing he could to redeem himself for how he feels he did to Chuck, and will unironically get out for good behaviour.
Did Vince watch his own show? What's the point in setting up 3 seasons of Chuck being a complete unrepentant butthole who has and always will look down on Jimmy no matter what he does if you're going to make it seem like their relationship falling apart was all on Jimmy ? Even if Chuck was right about him he is the one who always looked down on Jimmy and took every chance he got to spite him
Because even though he was like that, Chuck was still Jimmy’s brother, and a sick one at that. He knew that deep down and that’s why he always brought him his newspaper and other supplies. Family is family, and by saying that he was Saul at the beginning of the trial and then that he was Jimmy McGill was his personal and therapeutic way of reverting back to that and coming to terms with his roots
Jokes aside the prisioners chanting "muh better call saul" is straight up cringe material
The only good thingto come out of this finale is Jimmy and Kim sharing a cig like they did in prologue
Jimmy should've been sentenced to a lifetime of being locked in a dungeon suspended by chains while being flayed slowly every day, being unknowingly fed Kim's remains to keep him """alive """ until he just gives up. Bullshit ending.
I think my problem with the whole finale is that Nippy/Nippy 2/Nippy 3 is all kind of useless.
Jeff was useless in the grand scheme of things. Far more because the pure disconnect and incompetency the two had as a crime duo.
Really, really didn't like Jimmy forcing the last break in. Everything Jimmy did in that one situation, at the cancer patients house, felt like bad writing to get Saul caught.
Just one character break after another for a guy who had been seen to meticulously be careful when the stakes were high.
But the scams he did before, every single one with stakes this high had hard planning, and they called it off if it couldn't work.
Every metric Jimmy should've called it off.
Not to mention the cops, located outside his house, at that one specific place, to eat lunch?
They had Jimmy, they had this whole crime thing going in Nebraska.
And in the end, nothing they set up mattered and it was Just Slippin Jimmy slippin and fricking up while some cops just happened to park outside the mark he had been researching for months. Presumably if the cops normally parked there at night Jimmy would've caught that and not have robbed that specific mark.
I get what you're saying, and I don't think it's a bad thing for them to set as a precedent, but the way they did just seemed too much based off coincidences instead of little hidden clues like the big reveals in BrBa. Like the book from Gene.
I know they were trying to set that exact idea up with the laptop to Marion, but finding Saul by googling "Conman ABQ" seems less likely.
Best episode since season 3. Not the ending I wanted but it felt in line with the show. Kims a fricking frigid b***h tho for not even giving jimmy some head.
My head canon is that Saul’s actually still stuck as Gene and everything from Nippy onward is in his mind as he’s stuck in his Cinnabon purgatory with nothing else to do.
that sucked. should've played it off LIKE they were gonna do what they did, but instead have saul go full fricking grimy and sell out kim. would've been kino.
It reminds me of the Trailer Park Boys movie where they're happy in jail. I imagine Jimmy is going to see Kim on a regular basis and he'll get out at some point. He's not completely fricked and he has a bittersweet ending of reconciliation with Kim while everyone in prison loves him. Even if he does in prison he'll still have what he wanted and it was respect from Kim and his fellow peers/criminals. The show didn't need a crazy action packed ending and we got something worth talking about
it was a slow burn with no pay off. the confession wasnt even in character, kims presence wasnt enough for him to straighten out any other time with much lower stakes
>kims presence wasnt enough for him to straighten out any other time with much lower stakes
Except this was the end of the line. Kim had already laid out on the table everything she had.
>I HAD A GOOD THING YOU STUPID prostitute. I HAD HOWARD, I HAD A STORY I HAD EVERYTHING I NEEDED AND IT WOULD HAVE RUN LIKE CLOCKWORK! BUT NO! YOU JUST HAD TO BLOW IT UP! YOU AND YOUR GUILT AND YOUR FEELINGS! YOU JUST HAD TO BE A WOMAN! IF YOUD KNOW YOUR PLACE, I'D BE FINE RIGHT NOW!
A possible problem with the final episode for me is that there was barely any indication that he was returning to being Jimmy McGill until the final episode. Before the final episode, he was in a downward spiral, becoming more and more far-gone.
>no colour bleed in
blind moron didnt notice the cigarette lighter >no resolution to kimmy/jimmy
blind moron didnt watch the final 10 minutes of the episode
Beautiful ending. >Jimmy always hiding and running away from himself >avoids talking about Chuck's suicide >changes his name >avoids the loss of Howard and Kim by living the life of a cartoon character >finally decides to take responsibility and dispose the mask >proudly reclaims his old name >imprisoned for his crimes but freed from his mental prison
Finally someone who wasn’t filtered. Can’t think of a better ending for a show like this. Jimmy got redemption in the end and Kim’s alive. Bittersweet but no deaths, just redemption and a prime examples that regret and guilt can be a prison as well for your mind
Same, I like how they did this and the thank you videos to Albuquerque.
This whole production feels like a love letter to the fans of the past 14 years.
Yeah it’s truly the end of an era but I’m glad we got to experience this shit and was blessed with two brilliant series that were not abruptly cancelled. Gonna rewatch BCS into BB once more
It’s to show that even if He believes he is Jimmy McGill, to the rest of the world he will always be Saul Goodman. There’s no going back from that. Kim calls him Jimmy. He knows he is Jimmy.
He may not be Saul to himself but he’s Saul to everyone else. That is his legacy and part of his punishment. The upside is he is in a New Mexico prison where many of the inmates think highly of Saul and they got his back.
He may even run the prison in a way. Prisoners have a lot of respect for guys who know law, so having someone like him there basically means he’s going to be fine.
I want to imagine Kim’s going to go back to New Mexico to rebuild her law degree and visit Jimmy on weekends.
jimmy/saul would definitely end up as sort of an authority figure, no one would frick with him, people would be trying to gain his favor, its shown that the guards are cool with him too.
>Skylar, I take…….. LE responsibility for my actions >Kim, I take……….. LE responsibility for my actions
could they seriously not come up with anything fricking else?
>asks mike about a time machine >mike has regrets >asks walt about a time machine >walt has regrets >jimmy has no regrets >doesn't ask chuck about the time machine, which could have changed everything
actual bravo vince
The feds had to be amazingly moronic to let Saul get down to 7 years. They had a full case, witnesses and years of evidence against Saul and they were to pussy to go to trial because of a “muh duress” defense they should’ve expected before they even found him in Omaha?
They did expect it. The whole reason why Saul got Marie to come in was to show the feds that he could even get the grieving widow of one of his indirect victims to believe his sob story and rethink their position.
yeah that was dumb
there was no evidence. Everyone involved in the criminal conspiracies are dead. No evidence of threats or duress. There is testimony from the defendant and thats it. The rest is inadmissible hearsay. There is not a snowballs chance in hell that deal would've panned out the way it did.
>dad walks in >"hey son, what you watching?" >"oh it's better call saul, sequel to breaking bad. it's the season finale episode" >"oh is it any good?" >" BETTER CALL SAUL, BETTER CALL SAUL, BETTER CALL SAUL BE...."
The judge is David Cross and the final 10 minutes is just a Mr. Show sketch that ends with a plane falling on the building and killing everyone instantly as it hard cuts to black. Then, the credits is set to "Informer" by Snow.
>slippin jimmy manipulates the justice system to flex on everyone with a legendary plea bargain, wins kim back, and does right by his brother by finally being honest and taking responsibility for his actions >will spend the rest of his life in prison where everyone respects him >finger guns
he got the happiest ending possible
This. Proves he still has it in him to cut his shit down to SEVEN FRICKING YEARS then decides not to as this is an opportunity to face the true consequences of his actions. Makes Chuck proud and there’s still love between Jimmy and Kim. Kim could probably blow Jimmy due to the lack of security watching them tbqh but I’m getting ahead of myself here. The more I think about the ending the more I appreciate it.
You know, The Wire's ending was pretty sappy in retrospect. McNulty and Freamon practically got a slap on the wrist even though they should be in cuffs. Everybody got the good ending aside from a few people and I barely hear a peep.
But Saul actually going to prison because he wanted to genuinely fricked with some anons' heads. Like they wanted him to get away with his crimes like some generic self-insert fantasy shit for edgelords
the wire had so many thoroughly miserable events and endings befall and meet so many characters that i dont really have a problem with the ending for some of the characters in season 5. of course mcnulty and freamon where going to get away, nature of the broken beast systems.
with all of the timeline posting references, when they started to sing on the bus I legitimately thought we were going to get the musical "I fought the law" ending
I really loved it, it feels like the perfect conclusion to Jimmy. He had his fun, but he couldn't get away with the slippin jimmy act forever. Now he is inside, unable to do crimes again, finally surrounded by people who respect him, and Kim at the very least forgave him.
Yeah some shawshank redemption big grand escape would've been a spectacle, but it wouldn't have fit Jimmy. He shouldn't get away with it, at least I feel.
>Kim brings the idea of taking down Howard >Howard dies with Kim and Jimmy being the ones at fault >"Sorry Jimmy but we are bad for each other :(" >Breaking Bad happens >Kim gets a new opportunity at life but somehow is boring because uhmmmm reasons >Screws saul's last attemp at getting away with it by confessing >Saul sacrifices himself to save Kim because there really is nothing left for him but her, sadly >Kim even though she was the one that said they were bad for each other, comes back to visit him and probably even more times after that. >Never gets to pay for her crimes but its okay because she feels bad about it 🙁
VINCE IS A HACK
things I liked >puts back on suit >oakley >ice cream >joker laugh in cell >time travel >I AM MCGILL >at least not dead at the end
things I didn't like >86 years >kims confession bullshit >taking the fall for kim >ends the series in federal prison for the rest of his life with no hint at him getting released.
KINO series. will have to let the ending sit with me for a while, not sure about this episode. GREAT SHOW. 🙂
Goodnight brother, it has been an honor shitposting in these threads. This is truly the end of an era for this board as it was the only reason I was coming here. Take care.
It's been a helluva time, /bcs/. I look forward to discussing the show with you folks in the days to come, but I feel a little melancholy we'll never have a new episode to discuss. Maybe some silly spinoff will come out in a few years, who knows.
Welp, that was shit.
Well that was wonderful. Goodbye Saulbros, it was nice knowing you.
BRAVO VINCE
He's gonna get shanked.
no he's not, everyone in prison loves him
Yeah, I'm sure not one of the many grimey people that he has represented over the year would hate him.
Better call Kim
I thought when all the inmates started banging on the bus and chanting better call saul that the bus was gonna crash and jimmy was gonna escape...
Fitting, Chuck and Howard are at peace now
Rot in jail jimmy
HI BOB
so bad
>Did you think Saul was going to go Super Saiyan lawyer mode and defeat the judge in a one-on-one battle of words?
He was literally doing that until he cucked out for Kim. 7 Years was fricking nothing and he threw that shit away.
do you have a time machine
SEE YOU SPACE COWBOY
>jimmy somehow has a jacket
branded with the prison name, do you think he just fricking magicked it out of nowhere?
that was terrible what the frick
literally fricking shit
Remind me what Saul did that was so awful his karma demands he do life in prison, while Jesse who murdered people and was basically a cartel buttonman, gets to frick off in alaska
He also had got enslaved by nazis for months and had the two loves of his life die, he didn't get off that easy.
THATS IT ???TRASH LOL YOU homosexualS WASTED 5 YEARS ON THIS SHIT homie
I dont get it, what was all the time travel stuff about?
to show that saul only cares about money and was always a piece of shit
read the book
Regret. They literally spelled it out during the scene with Walter.
The chuck scene shows its jimmy feeling regret over what he did to chuck.
If you need the timelines explained to you then you might not be intelligent enough fir this show
The garden of eden
I Better Call Simp
Cigarette was in color
wtf
The mods made a sticky for this trash? Lmao fricking morons.
I love how reactionary people are
worst ending ever.
saul in prison while kim getting yep'd and yup'd all night long
doof out.
Holy shit nachos death feels like forever ago
I thought the same thing
;___;
this day will be known as the day good television died. You were here Cinemaphile. You were here for the last good show ever
>he hasnt watched severance
If s2 will be as good as s1 then it'll truly be the last good show after this.
This is genuinely horrifying, like BB and BCS weren't great but they were good relative to most of the literate shit we get and will continue to have for the foreseeable future, this is it, the last decent show
And they call that a finale
Lol no chance Walter shouldn’t have gotten the chance to redeem himself.
It's not really redeeming himself he was dying anyway.
His ego wouldn't let him die without his kid getting his money and other people using his product
Yes he should've come clean to the cops like a good little boy, confess to all his crimes and put Lydia, Jack, Jesse and Todd in prison before the final scene of him getting shanked to death by a bunch of inmates
I don’t think we’re on the same page, I don’t think that should’ve happened either, it just ends way too much on a high note for him
So did you like the ending? Was it satisfying as a Breaking Bad prequel? Did you like Jimmy's character arc? Do you like it more than Breaking Bad? Do you think it's better than BrBa?
People shitting over the ending. Alright then, how would YOU have fixed it...?
I would have had him take the 7 year deal
>SIX SEASONS
>AND A
>MOVIE
Better than El Camino
Felling bad for Saul tho
Saul throws kimmy under the bus somehow to save himself
Force Ghost Lalo
Jimmy takes the plea deal. Done.
live feed of kim getting a colonoscopy
It was pretty expected IMO, I dont think I'd change anything except make the bus scene less cringe. Have the inmates whisper instead of doing a chant.
jimmy takes the plea deal or the bus crashes on the way to the prison with all the people chanting and jimmy escapes
I don't like that he somewhat redeemed himself. I wanted to see him go out like a POS.
Saul throws kim under the bus, gets the 7 year deal while being the most popular guy on prison
Kim offs herself
jesse pinkman on meth bender tunnels from alaska to floor of saul's cell and says "let's go b***h, we BREAKING you out BAD!"
I clapped
Compress all the black and white scenes into one movie instead of wasting everyone's time with 6 seasons of bullshit
takes the 7 years
kim gets sued for sprinkler money. who cares
kim fricks him in jail on his birthday
after seven years he gets out with a six year old son kim named charles
All dialog is limericks and add a dance party at the end
jimmy takes the deal and have some scene where kim tells him that for her, being bad was fun, but for him its his nature
its what they built up to the entire final season
Car chase with jimmy while he calls the vacuum guy. Vacuum guy says “no way”. Jimmy makes his escape and flees to Mexico. Kim becums the new prison b***h.
Final scene is jimmy with sombrero and Moroccos fleecing some Mexican homeless dude for petty cash. He is poor and miserable, but surviving
>Kim is literally in the same place she in the beginning
>Breaking gays BTFO by Walt's sacrifice
>Better C U C K Saul gays BTFO by Saul's sacrifice
HAH! I TOLD YOU homosexualS
Look up the ice cream he requested. It's so obscure that it guarantees they were going to break his deal and he was going to get out.
THANK YOU
gay ending
jesse won
IMAGINE WATCHING 6 SEASONS JUST FOR IT TO END LIKE THAT SHIT. LMFAO
RATE THE FINALE

9/10
I liked it 🙂
9
12/16
4.5/10
I give it a solid 8
Okay but this dog is literally just sipping a Pepsi like its no big deal, what a freak.
9
Show 8/10
Final episode 6/10
checked and eleven
7.5/10
It was good overall
9/10
One issue is that Jimmy defending Chuck in court, at least on the way he did, didn’t feel deserved. Otherwise I thought it was an amazing finale for Jimmy’s character.
Probably like a 6 or 7 out of 10. Felina was a much better finale, but maybe this one will grow on me.
like a 7/10
the sudden chivalry really brought it down
Jimmy and Kim was always the real heart of the show so it ended appropriately. On the whole I give it an 8/10 but the final scene was absolutely perfect. Frick speedwatching Black folk, and frick anyone who ever thought that anything involving Gus and the cartel was anywhere near as interesting as the lawyer stuff.
is it me or is the final shit
Speedwatchers filtered once again
That was it?
Don't forget to cancel your subscription
>no fought the law kino
booo
>7 years of bs so we could see that Saul was a good guy at heart
WE FRICKING WON CHUCKCHADS HOLY SHIT BROS I LOVE JIMMY AND CHUCK LETS GO BROS
She got away with it, that fricking b***h
no but seriously kino ending
compare breaking bads finale to this pile of shit, what the frick even was that
i fought the law and the
law won
Anyone else feel empty?
I think thats the point, jimmy has pretty much been a hollow shell since howards death/kim leaving
No this show always sucked
>Thats it
I dont know what i expected but it wasnt that
I don't know. Half of me liked it the other half said it was shit. I knew there wasn't a chance it'd compare to bb finale.
>we love you, the fans, please don't shit talk the terrible ending, plz
I didn't want to oversell it given the fact this board has more homosexuals who watch shit like Euphoria than chads who enjoyed Oz. It's a great series but it went into decline after the double length 4th season.
So he intentionally goes to prison for longer because he feels like he deserves it? Because Chuck was right and he really can't control himself?
yes, he knows his path is already chosen
>hence why all the Black folk calling him Saul when says McGill
Pretty kino ending
Yep
But in the end he redeems himself, so he has a bit of a contradiction.
Pretty kino even though I’m sad he did it.
The plea deal was a con. He wanted them to send him to the prison he has a lot of former clients in. He knew he'd be a nobody leading a meaningless life after the 7 years passed so he chose to have good company.
Based attention payer
based geniusposter
whelmed status ? under
Cheesy
yeah that was kind of weak
was there something i missed?
yeah 90 minutes of your life
The lesson is: Nobody can change, they are born the way they are. Jimmie was a scamartist and he always will be. So he sent himself to prison so he couldn't hurt anybody else.
YEAH I'M THINKING KINO
as you were remembered by this extra scenes kim was the last to make the guns so Saul responded back you fricking speedwatchers.
XNRDY
I’m sad now, I wanted him to win.
kino show, kino ending, I loved every minute of it.
Vince Gilligan should die of gonorrhea and rot in hell.
Final shot we see of him is from Kim's POV since she never saw him again either.
>Huell turned out to be an air marshall all this time
DID YOU GUYS SEE THE YIN YANG SYMBOL THEY MADE.
KINO
LUDO
TRASHSHOW
I liked the ending. Parts of the final season were weird but the ending itself felt right
>Six years for this shit
LMAO
>redditors actually thought he was gonna get away with it
lol fricking morons
he LITERALLY almost did, talked down a life sentence to only seven( 7) years in some white collar prison. but NO he just had to play the big simp in the end
i dont even understand. did he stop the civil suit against her or something
Talking it down to 7.5 was enough for him. Nothing left to prove.
Seems like the only real logical ending tbh
This. In the end he was a villain protagonist who got away with it with words and being slimy but does himself in because the one thing he could never get away from is his conscience.
Just make El Camino 2: Better Call Jimmy already Vince, you gay, I know you will.
Alright, I'm going to bed. Goodnight bros, it's been a fun seven years. See you guys tomorrow
mad men

BRAVO
that fricking sucked
BB>>>>>>>
>>>>>>
jimmy>BCS
Season 1 was early 2000s kino (I watched it premier)
Season 6 is "LOOK! REMEMBER BREAKING BAD ?"
Its over
the real finale was this sticky we shared together
This was objectively weak compared to BB's ending. Prove me wrong.
I cant, you're right, BB is retroactively better than BCS somehow
Why are you comparing them? BB had pleb shootout in its finale. This was a thinking man’s finale
Weaker? I would say yes because breaking bad has that leeway to be violent and I don't really see Better Call Saul doing that but in its own way I'm satisfied with the ending
can't, you're right. Compare all that happened in BB's final five episodes to BCS's final episodes. Sure, it's a slow burn, especially when shots of characters walking to their car take five minutes
Without the snippets that just served as cameos everything that happened in all of the Gene episodes could be in 1-2 episodes
BB’s entire last season is 3/10 except for Ozymandias
closing out without a song does feel weak I'll concede
other than that kino
The final shootout in BB was capeshit on par with lalo's antics this season. This was actual kino, why the frick would people want Saul to take the plea deal or escape when there's barely any runtime left, there'll be no closure to his arc and would just be sequel bait. Instead he's in a prison where all the other prisoners like him and gets to live a comfy life. This is unironically the best ending for him
I'm not talking about violent spectacles.
That's true, but I think it was stretched too thin. Maybe slow burns are too high IQ for me.
Mike wasn't there, the state of solid is gone, that's why the episode is called Saul Gone.
even Mad Men ending was better
bravo vince
I was honestly expecting this to an extent
i honestly thought kim was gonna get her sprinkler pipes fitted in that room if u know what i mean my homie
I GONNA MISS YOU ALL BCSBROS
Does Kim still have to deal with the civil suit?
nyo, that was the whole point of Jimmy incriminating himself
Im gonna kill myself.
>NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO WHY DID NOONE DIE THIS IS NOT HECKIN KINO
KYS REDDITORS KINO SHOW KINO ENDING
Welp
That was something
Not watching that GoT shit btw
Well.... that was kind of boring... was expecting some more BANG for an ending, instead it just sort of fizzled out like an expired firework
yeah cuz its not breaking bad you idiot its a show about lawyers, who'd you expect, hulk?
IT'S LALO TIME
>its a show about lawyers
not for the last 3 seasons it wasn't.
So where was the fricking color? Vince is fricking moronic.
>he didn't see it
>he sold it all for just a little glimpse of color
reddit as frick but sad either way
The cig has it, but in previous gene scenes they dont so its the "bond" between jimmy and kim that you see.
>no song
Saul gets 7 years in prison then comes out a better changed man
what about the eight six years? i didnt get it
Its been an honor shitposting with you
This is worse than Luke dying in Last Jedi.
HE DID THE FINGER GUNS IM GONNA CRY
GUESS HE GOT
WHAT HE DESERVED
MY BABY KIIIM
I probably would've merged the ID scams and the cancer guy heist into one episode, and for Waterworks, I probably would've had Saul trying to escape for at least half the episode before getting caught. Then we'd get a full episode of Saul's trial for the finale.
Then, Saul gets away with it (getting only 7 years) but finds a way to confess everything without being held accountable. Dunno how he'd do it but that's what Slippin' Jimmy is an expert at.
What the frick was that shit
FELINA >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> BCS FINALE
BETTER CALL PIECE OF SHIT
WHAT SHOW DO I WATCH NEXT
Severance
is that actually good
unironically yes
Yes
read a book instead.
The Bear
Good show
I’m finally watching Berserk (1997)
Based
I can’t talk about that show here cause the cast is mostly non-white so I’m glad you aren’t a moron
I’m a Chicagogay so I really enjoyed it
the Cinemaphile reference in the first episode was pretty cringey but everything else was absolute kino especially the last two episodes
I'll miss you guys more than the show. At least we can watch Bob's new show Straight Man.
Well this certainly was an ending.
Really fluffy, I don't think the flashbacks added much to it. No fireworks or anything but I guess it all wraps up alright.
>BB ends with PEW PEW EXPLOSIONS XD!!!
>BCS ends in a thoughtful and meaningful way providing room for years of discussion
yeah BCS won this one
moron
Redditors are currently raging that it wasn't a dramatic capeshit ending. Society is fricked
GUESS I GOT WHAT I DESERVED
It's been fun, lads.
i thought you gays said they'd play "winner takes it all"? episode wasn't even titled that
>No wildfire
>No fought the law
>No main theme
But we did get time traveling, so now it's just a matter of jumping timelines until we get to the timelines with those memes in them
No main theme is the biggest most valid complaint. Vince and co writing this shit episode to episode caught up to them
>completely random and mostly pointless chuck scene
moronic, the scene was supposed to be a sting towards how the audience felt about Chuck, with a majority of them on Jimmy's side now seeing that Chuck wanted to mend his relationship with Jimmy.
THE CIGARETTE WITH KIM STAYS IN COLOR. THEY LOVE EACH OTHER. this episode is filtering all speedwatchers[/episode]

Utterly pointless show lmao
After Chuck's death nothing meaningful happened
Bottom left, we got Marie moron
Goodbye, lads. I love you.
I love you too
FRICK Black folk
Imagine what you'd feel like after year 7 knowing you could have got out then realizing you had 30+ years to go.
I imagine by then you're adjusted to prison life at that point. Or dead.
Honestly loved the finale but i’ve always hated the black and white shit. Literally my only complaint is that I wanted to see the final few scenes in color
Im so in love with brunette Kim bros I don't how Im gonna handle not watching her more

Dropped the show halfway through season 2. Saw that saul just goes to jail the end. Is it really worth watching?
Yes last season was kino
Vince was right, the ending really did filter people.
Reminder that brainlets also hated BB's finale when it first aired too
The BB finale had some cool scenes and walt going out with a bang, but this was just boring
Goodbye thread, it's been entertaining.
>Better Call Saul
literally what
I can't stand this guys face and his acting is so wooden. Hard to imagine this could be good when I want to punch the main characters face.
god i wish ciara would shoot me right now
BETTER CALL SAUL
>the saul cycle is finally over, jimmy might have finally found redemption within himself, he could had more lies and schemes but choses not to
>morons will say nothing happens
i never watched better call saul before and knew exactly how this predictable trash would end
>make Chuck the most despicable piece of shit they could for the first three seasons
>Suddenly you're supposed to feel bad for him
He was mentally ill
It's because he's always been right about jimmy and Jimmy knows that in the end
Chuck was literally right about everything
>Chuck was literally right about everything
name even one thing
He'll never change. He'll NEVER change. Ever since he was nine, always the same - couldn't keep his hands out of the cash drawer. But not our Jimmy! Couldn't be precious Jimmy!? Stealing them blind! And HE gets to be a lawyer? What a sick joke! I should've stopped him when I had the chance! And you, you have to stop him. You
He defacated through a sunroof
His entire chicanery rant is factual accusations. Like the billboard stunt.
didn't he frick up on the 1216 vs.1261 thing? Chuck legit thought the address was 1216 and Jimmy changed it to 1261 but it was the other way around.
He got that idiot at the copy shop to lie for him.
One after Magna Carta
Jimmy couldn't change, but at least realized it and decided to do what's best for everyone. Chuck on the other hand never even began to realize how awful he was to the only family he had left. He died a terrible hateful brother.
I dont think that scene makes you feel bad for him at all, he basically just tells jimmy he will never change and implies he would indeed not do the same for jimmy if he was sick like him.
Nah this ending made me hate Chuck more and Jimmy proved himself to be a bigger man than that whiny homosexual.
Chuck was an butthole but he was right about jimmy from the start, he has never been able to help himself, even now when he could have gotten 7 years without fricking Kim over with the first deal he had to frick it all up because it’s who he is, a frick up.
>Implying Jimmy getting 7 fricking years for being a consigliere is what Chuck was talking about
how come Jesse gets away with everything?
He pulled a Lelouch
Kim got railed by another man
What’s a worse ending this or SNK?
It was missing a moment where kim leaves, the color comes back
saul looks back, smiles and main theme plays
Proving he will never, ever change
>Proving he will never, ever change
The finger guns show that
If he wont change why the sudden guilt over chuck on the trial
This whole he wont change but he has a guilty conscience but not really is kinda shit, have him fall into a breakdown or demonstrate that he is still am butthole, as some guy said, no half measures
Jimmys entire character is he cant help himself.
Chuck even acknowledges the pain he feels from his actions is real, he always had the guilt but he just hid it before. The walt and mike time machine flashbacks are supposed to further show that.
i will miss you friends
>no more bob and rhea together
Honestly the best romance in recent times. I want to see them do more stuff together

Unironically solid ending. Everyone crying he didn't come up with one last gamble to get out free is a fricking brainlet who didn't understand a single second of the show.
of course a xiv troon would like this ending
Actual xiv chad here, he should've taken the plea deal. Also Venat is an evil b***h.
Very nice of you to clarify that you're just an incel whose rage extends to fictional women.
does tsukuyomi come back ever or just her stupid fricking brother
>tries to make people realize suffering is an inherent part of life and trying to actively circumvent suffering will only cause more problems long-term
>she is somehow evil
What she did was awful, she genocided her world, but it was ultimately out of love for mankind and that it could push forward while being able to confront suffering and torment.
thank you for becoming a mass murderer for our sake, Venat

I’ve been saying it since season 1, the emperor has no clothes.
I was kind of hoping Kim would be his lawyer in court but I like that she’ll be working and loving him for the rest of his life.
It’s what he truly wanted all along.
Kim leaves Saul. She didn't do the finger guns back and the final shot of from her perspective: leaving him.
to add up on his post.
How Jimmy confessing spares her from being sued into oblivion by Howard's wife?
He never changed.
I can't believe timeline schizos were validated.
I like Jimmy cause he reminds me of my childhood.
it's just fiction, you mentally ill incel

BYE FOREVER GUYS
Jimmy was a simp all along
>Imagine throwing away 80 years of your life just so the childless barren old roastie you knew several years ago that gets piped by random middle age suburbanite dads would come to your jail cell and smoke a cigarette with you
Once Saul jerk offs for the first time in his jail cell and gets hit with that sweet post-nut clarity he is going to FREAK and try as hard as he can to get a retrial
>WTF? SAUL DIDN'T BTFO THE JUDGE AND ACQUITTED HIMSELF??? AHHH WHY ISNT THIS LIKE MUH ANIME
Goodbye guys, i really enjoyed it, i mean... i didnt like the ending other than the chuck and saul flashback, was pretty great and going back in it im gonna find it really depressing, anyway, its fine.

They literally ask him why he's talking about chuck when it has no relevance as hes not on trail for that. He was on that stand to confess not play the game.
He killed his brother, he wanted more than a slap on the wrist.
yeah, getting royally fricked in a civil suit is scott free
>royally fricked in a civil suit
THE STAKES HAVE NEVER BEEN HIGHER
is he good in the end or was he a piece of shit
what the frick do I have to learn from this final I have very low iq Im born nonwhite and poor
He was always a piece of shit. At least he finally admitted it.
he was always a piece of shit, he just couldn't accept it. he redeemed himself though
he aknowldegd chuck was a frick but that he couldve handled it better, instead he used his passion to frick over chuck when really jimmy could've been more. he's got the mind of a conman, he's not destined to be one but its super easy for him.
He finally faced his regrets and consequences that he had been endlessly running away from. It's a personal triumph than him being a good/evil guy.
One thing you should take from this anon, is that if you are going to do bad shit, get as much info as you can, as much information as possible, as many contacts as you can, even be part of as many events as possible, and never ever speak a word until you can trade it for a jail free card against the government.
It's working for Trump
He has a good heart but "can't help himself" like Chuck said. He knew the best place for himself and the rest of society was prison.

I can't justify watching the rest otherwise, the lawyer drama and tinfoil autism got really boring for me and I just wanted to see wacky clients and small claims court drama and so on.

>muh jimmy plottwist
awful awful ending. I wanted to see him and Kim together at the end. Dumbass Kim ruined the whole thing by squealing to Howard's widow...she should have never done that.

wow better call saul fans are vocal about the ending and they are not happy. Theyre discontented with the way saul got caught and the whole simping for kim thing. I guess they were holding out hope for saul getting away with everything. There's even a petition that's garnered thousands of signatures to have the episode changed. Obviously that wont happen but it shows how unhappy they are.
LEAVE THE WINDOW OPEN WHILE HE'S FRICKING YOU

Bcs ending was garbage but at least it wasn't snk tier bad.

Sopranos finale levels of kino, thanks for the ride, don't know how I'll survive on this board without /bcs/
So what was with the chuck scene, never read that book
I forget what he exactly says, but that book is called The Time machine. So maybe that's what brings Jimmy to talk about it with everybody else, I think he says things like that because he has his own regrets and wants to see what everyone else has to say. Cuz I'm typing this I think Chuck says everybody has a path or something like that and clearly the role A Better Call Saul into breaking bad Jimmy did have a path that was not good so I think in the end Jimmy looks at himself and says you know what I'm going to change that path and does the right thing for once
>Saul has an obsession with building a time machine
>Time machine is a synonym for regrets - fixing his errors
>The Time Machine idea is related to Chuck
The idea is neat, the execution really isn't
at least it was better than GoTs ending
I cannot fricking believe they actually did the "I fought the law" copypasta shot-for-shot. What the frick.
It’s over.
It’s really over.
I was 21 when this show premiered, now there’s nothing left worth watching.
I don’t want to watch shows about wheelchair bound Black folk who think they’re women.
I don’t know why I should keep going.
It's time to move to anime
jeez youre old
I was 23, and I was 15 the night Breaking Bad premiered and saw it live.
Frick man I feel old.
I was 12
i was 7, damn... gonna miss the show, didnt ENJOY that much of the ending, but i was expecting for him to die so its decent
That ending was awful
So his confession ended up costing him 80 years?
You know how they say 'it's been a pleasure'? Well... it hasn't.
See you guys around. stay solid, bros.

What a sick joke!
Now she’s going to take Saul’s place with him in prison and her back in the legal saddle
except she doesnt.
Peter confirmed that she's still getting sued by Howard's wife.

I get her being prepared to call the cops because he's a criminal and could frick.her up but he didn't do anything untoward towards her or even attempt to lay the groundwork for a con. So why didn't she give him a chance to explain himself and relish in siccing the police on him?

>she followed him to the window and called out his make, model, and license plate too
literally the biggest c**t in the series
Saul should have whacked her
He should have yanked off her life alert while he had the chance when she was afraid of him before he pussed out over her guilt trip.

>Cinemaphilegays will never realize that this scene was making fun of the fans of the show by saying they're all Black folk
>perfect time to have this kick in and have a slow-mo shot of jimmy coming off the bus and walking into prison
Instead we needed a 10 minute scene of walt sperging out about time travel
After Nippy there was a teaser aerial shot of some roads out in the plains and Gene saying something like "This will all be over soon". Did this actually show up in later episodes I dont remember
Wasn't that him talking to Jeff or Marion after the car accident.
Yeah it was francesa going to the payphone to call saul on his birthday I believe
Whatever happened with the teaser about Kim talking to Huell? Or am I smoking crack?
How did anyone manage to stay awake for this boring trash?
Does anyone else feel like committing suicide, not because the show is really good and you'll miss it, but because the finale made you realize how much of your time you've wasted on this show and that you don't deserve the rest of it?
if 6, jimmy breaks out of jail

Ending was pretty satisfying. Jimmy redeeming himself was better than whatever speedwatchers wanted.

i liked it
Jeffbros? What the FRICK happened to him?
Jeff is like Huell in breaking bad, just waiting for someone to show up.
Huell actually leaves though.
>Cinemaphile reference
Fricking what?
There’s a scene where all these cosplayers and nerds are standing outside the restaurant and getting in fights over the tournament which leads the cousin to name drop Cinemaphile on them which felt really out of character since the guy is the last person who’d know what that is.
still sitting tight, he's solid
>they cant even keep kim's feet out of the finale
kino
I don’t get it, when did Saul decide he wants to confess? If it was after not tying up the old lady, why was he even running? Just suddenly out of nowhere he goes to prison for life on purpose, that’s really out of character. If he wanted to stop being Saul why did he bait the prosecutor into jailing him in a prison with all his former clients? He could easily be out after seven years then be back to crime and make bank.
when he heard during the negotiations that kim had called his bluff and confessed
How does him confessing to willingly helping walter years later in any way influence kim’s trial?
Couldn't Kim just declare bankruptcy? Blood from a stone, and all that.

>Jimmy never actually physically harms anyone nor calls any hits and gets a life sentence
>Jesse brutally murders multiple people, destroys lives through selling meth and gets to live free
Jesse was unironically worse than Saul in every way and got a happier ending
Saul got 7 years, he only got life because he was being a moralhomosexual
7 years is actually 21 in smoker's years, so he would've gotten a life sentence either way.
Jesse, who was manipulated throughout the two years, who suffered the deaths of not one, but two people he loved, who thought that he was, in part, responsible for the potentially lethal poisoning of a child, and someone who is shown to obviously be negatively affected by what is happening to him is a worse person than the lawyer who facilitated, knowingly, and helped Walter White become the drug kingpin for no reason other than personal gain.
lol
YO b***h!
I got away with it because nazis came in my bootyhole yo.
Jessie didn't have a b***h in his ear saying "turn yourself in" because she died lol
It’s kinda a happy ending in a way for Jimmy, I mean the inmates love him
>DUDE LIVING WITH YOUR GUILT IS BETTER THAN ATONING FOR YOUR ACTIONS HE SHOULD HAVE TAKEN THE DEAL
Jesse should have gone to prison like Saul and atoned for his crimes
Yes.
>Jesse kills only to stay alive or avenge his fallen friends
>Saul helps setup the entire drug empire including helping Walt with contracts
>Jesse's two lovers die and has only two people in the world who care about but will never see him again. Is also still traumatized by years as a slave
>Jimmy is a highly favored inmate, will never get fricked with, will get better food, and has a reputation

Why was the final scene not in color? It makes no sense now the contrast of black and white vs color. Seems very unkino of them to not have him finger gun in color
Why would he get color back?
He's still dead inside and doesnt win in the end.
The only color he even gets is the interaction with kim.
He owned up to his crimes and killed Saul. Jimmy isn't a fundamentally bad guy and deserves "color"
He doesnt kill saul, he still embraces it with the inmates as we see with the bread making shot.
He'll never change, ever since he was 9.
Bill got fricked over.
Can you imagine how fricking ancient Carlos Esposito is going to look by the time his spinoff is over? He is going to end up in a wheelchair like Hector.

BRAVO VINCE WHAT A FINAL MESSAGE TO END ALL THINGS
So realistically with Saul behaving in prison and all that, how long would he actually serve
he is dying in there anon
It’s federal, he is dying in that place
forever and ever. he's fricked. even if he gets out in, what, like 20 years? his life is over, he's just a crusty old man waiting to die broke
Maybe if he's really good he'll get it down to a breezy 65 years.
Saul didn't go to prison, Jimmy did.
whatever happened to Jesse anyway?
last we saw him he was talking to Kim whether Saul was a good lawyer or not, weird that he had to ask since he knew him from Breaking Bad and all, guess Vince just had to include him somehow
who wants to jerk off to kim with me in private
disc?

Kino finale, made prison seem really comfy in the bus tbh

Better Call Lyle
None of those people from those ads are going to where he works. They want KFC
what did they have against jimmy at the beginning? obviously him admitting to everything got him 86 years, but what evidence did they have at the beginning to sentence him to the 7 years?
He was laundering money for Walt and helped Walt escape after Hanks murder. They literally list all of the charges in the episode. Did you watch it at 2x speed with something else on in the background?
but where was the evidence of it all? they didnt have hard evidence of it, did they?
The fricking feds raided his office and got everything. This was discussed on the phone call with Francesca. There are mountains of evidence. Don't ever commit a crime because you are a moron.
i thought they shredded all the paperwork before he took off into hiding?
Anon, they started him off at life and 100+ years. It was Saul that worked them down to 7 by crafting a story that positioned him an unwilling participant in Walter White's multimillion dollar drug empire.
I thought that was what he was going for at first but when he realize they weren't buying it he threatened to rig the jury
He wasn't expecting the prosecutors to buy his story, he was just demonstrating that it sounded plausible enough to potentially sway a jury.
Bros... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5AI44gnaLxY
was really hoping they'd play it, it's a great song
IS IT JUST ME OR DID THE BLACK GUY IN FRONT OF SAUL ON BUS LOOK LIKE MORGAN FREEMAN, WAS EXPECTING HIM TO GO INTO SHAWSHANK REDEMPTION MONOLOGUE LMFAO
The one behind him looked like Terry Crews
HIS NAME WAS BETTER CALL SAUL
What is up with all the time machine references? Can someone eloborate? What does Vince Gilligan mean by this?
literally all about going back and fixing mistake (something you can't do), but Saul doesn't have regrets, only Jimmy does.
Regrets. Walter literally says what it means.
Vince needs a time machine to correct this atrocious finale.
he regrets doing BCS clearly, because 70% of the entire show was filler. what a load of garbage.
Walter literally spells it out for you, then jimmy gets on the stand and talks about chuck (who has the time machine book) even though the judge reminds him that's not relevant.
time travel theory confirmed, multiple timelines.
buy two nachos get one free
wendypill
time eggs
you'll catch up eventually, kid
Vince reads forums. It was for internet points.
It's a setup for the sequel series where Saul and his prisonmates plot an elaborate escape by building a fully functioning time machine to undo the events of Breaking Bad and prevent their own incarceration.
Predictgays almost had it right except for Jimmy not being shanked.
What a shit fricking ending.
>Kim didndu nuffin
>Never in legal consequences
>Is a FRICKING LAWYER AGAIN
Frick you, Vince.
She's not a lawyer again. She was just volunteering at a law office and posed as Jimmy's lawyer because she still had her BAR card that never had any expiration date printed on it.

unironically something like this.

Yes.
Good thematic storytelling is actually an important part of telling a good, cohesive, story.
Well then don't tease the 7 years thing and dangle that in front of us. this episode was like torture for jimmyfans.
Jimmy did get a good ending, Saul didn't.
Jimmy did the right thing and had Saul locked up, but he needed to sacrifice himself to do it.

Anons in this thread would’ve shat all over the sopranos ending if they were old enough to watch it live.
I hated the ending cause I was too brainlet to understand what it meant at the time. Looking back, it's the only ending Tony deserved.
This board really is filled with hyperactive zoomers, isn't it?
Did Walt feel flanderized to anyone else? I'd expect him to be annoyed at everything and le reddit science man in earlier scenes, but this scene happens right after his entire life just fell apart and he watched his brother in law get murdered. Also weird how during the regret conversation scene it flashed to his watch as implying that he regrets what he did to Jesse, but in Felina Walt still hates him and was planning on killing him alongside the gang until he found out he was enslaved
*earlier seasons
> in Felina Walt still hates him and was planning on killing him alongside the gang until he found out he was enslaved
Walt has always looked down on Saul even though he bailed him out several times.
For some reason Walt is always a massive dick to him.

Is this really the best they could come up with? Can't believe I wasted 7 years watching this shitty fricking show.
So this is it. Quite a ride.

Slam pig thoughts about Francesca.

Slam pig thoughts belong to Erin. She's younger and cuter

I think Omar has a better chance, closer proximity and all
I get the joke. Just wanted an excuse to post more of her. She's oddly cute
So the whole 7 years prison sentence was direct symbolism for the show right? Since it aired 7 years ago
>the moral of both Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul is that... crime doesn't pay
Bravo, Vince...
Walt literally got almost 10 million dollars to his family.
Answer me this Anons, is anyone else sort of disappointed that nobody found lalo's or Howard's body? Like I enjoyed the finale but I was hoping there be some more closure to that part
The last half of this season was a terrible sprint to the finish. It sucked.
they did the dexter thing.
>vince and gould admit they write EPISODE TO EPISODE
fricking hacks. lol I could have written a better ending. Waterworks was good. but this episode....we had a good thing going and YOU FRICKED IT
Season 2 of Breaking bad is the only season they wrote in advance, they did the episode to episode thing for everything else
they're under feet of concrete, and everyone who knows about it is dead
I know but I thought maybe they'd have a scene that Saul was possibly told about it or something during the breaking bad. And then maybe he could use that as leverage but oh well
Nah homie who cares about that shit at that point, everyone knows they're dead anyway
I mean Hank and Gomez's body was found in breaking bad? So why not the same for them
Their bodies being found isnt possible in the show’s universe. Jimmy and Kim both dont know where they are buried, everyone who does is dead and gone.
Jesus Christ, is everyone watching these shows on their phones or something?
They were decomposed under tbe superlab for like 4 to 5 years and then exposed to a huge ass fire/explosion. Would honestly be weird if their bodies DID get found. I don't think anything could survive that.

Peak. Writing.
He was moronic for hiding there and making so much noise
I WAN TO SEE KIM PERSONALLY SUED
Too bad anon. Women shouldn't be held responsible for their actions. That's what Vince is saying with shitty ending.
I loved every episode.
Farewell, shill threads and AMC interns.
I fought the kino and the kino won
>Somehow, Walter White has returned
Thought this line was a little on the nose but otherwise that was a hell of finale
Damnit Marie! It's a plea bargain not cutting a deal!
Bravo on peak writing, Vince.
>witness
The frick did Marie ever witness?
I meant Victim
Just watch the shows in release order moron, it almost never makes sense to watch something chronologically
Still a funny scene
jeeez..now what am i gonna obsess over.. christ.. the episode was a little heavy handed with the regrets theme, but it do got me thinking..maybe i should consoom less and get a real life..

I really enjoyed the finale. It went the way it always had to. It went the way it was always going to. Life, death, redemption (to some degree)

why couldn't we have had literally any of this
i just wanted to hear supertramp
context for supertramp ending?
Look up the lyrics to "Goodbye Stranger" and you will understand. The song matches up perfectly with Saul's story.
at a certain point, the fun and games are over.
also there was a return to color, but only came in the flick of a cigarette. still counts tho i think
I'm gonna miss all the mikeposters, chuckbros, and the MY DADDY AND MY MOMMY poster.
I hope MY DADDY AND MY MOMMY haunts any and all BB and BCS threads for all time

>could have gotten a kino finale where Saul is on the brink of getting of Scott free but Kim has to be the one to testify against him

Did anyone here actually think that Saul would do some Doctor Who science shit and go back in time to save Chuck, Howard, and all of the other frickbuddies?

I was working, someone give me a link to the damn episode
>Nacho commits suicide out of nowhere
>Lalo gets killed by Gus in a Marvel-tier shootout scene
>Kim becomes a wageslave in Florida
>Jimmy gets bored of being incognito and basically gives himself up to go live in a prison
Holy shit, every single character except Howard had a wasted ending in this show.
>Nacho commits suicide out of nowhere
Anon that entire episode was building up to that moment.
Nacho killed himself because Gus could just use his father as leverage if he didn't do what he wanted. Plus he was content with telling off Hector to really sell it.
>t. actual speedwatcher

Stayed in the desert and became god emperor of dune.
so I see you didn't watch Breaking Bad or don't remember it. heh
he was alive at the end of breaking bad
He took a trip to Belize.
He was the only one who died peacefully besides Walt
Walt died in pain and while shitting himself on the ground
Frick you Walter White
I wonder if there’s gonna be an El Camino type deal for BCS, although I don’t see a point in that.
I wonder if there’s gonna be any other spin-off, or if this is really really it.
Maybe Saul will show up in a Super Bowl commercial in 10 years.
>fricks up the finale
nothing personal, kid.

BRAVO VINCE
Walt was so based for this one, I love how ruthless he is in the finale.
Lydia was the worst character in both shows
Literally Walter White but a woman and a coward
the woman was entirely willing to suffer the consequences. Jimmy is the one who kept that from happening.
Check your misogyny at the door.
>Kim deserves to rot in prison with Jimmy even though she never helped a murderous drug lord
Having to give up her life's passion to be a mundane wage cuck while Howard's b***h wife tries to keep her broke is a fair punishment.
Kim wasn't a lawyer you stupid butthole, she used her old NM bar license so that the prison would let her inside. She just wanted to see Jimmy again.

SEEEEEEEEEEEEETHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
That was honestly a really good series finale, and it was exactly how I predicted it would end. With Jimmy taking the fall for Kim and spending the rest of his life in prison. Bravo Vince (no sarcasm)
Honestly it’s interesting to compare the ending of Breaking Bad to Better Call Saul.
But hey, "justice has been served" and this show is brilliant for bringing Saul Goodman to "justice" even though fricking Mike directly murdered several people who didn't deserve it (Werner Ziegler anyone?) and is somehow seen as the good guy.
mike fricking died.
Walt "won" but he sacrificed himself to save Jesse.
Jimmy "won" but he sacrificed himself to save Kim.
Underrated comment
I say that Better Call Saul edges out Breaking Bad in the endings. That automatic robot gun takes the great Walt end down a tad.
How did he take the fall for Kim? Literally nothing changed for Kim with his confession.
Scene with a full version of the title music sisters....we lost
it's a legitimately great song and they didn't use it
What a sick joke
legitimately the only good episode of the season. reminded me of the first 3 seasons writing wise
What in particular in this finale were Vince, Gould, Rhea, etc. hinting at being so controversial/unconventional? It really wasn't that crazy or unpredictable at all.
The fact that he gives up the plea but yeah thats kinda to be expected from a show about the downfall of jimmy
And you still get smoothbrains getting upset it wasn't a spectacle
>criminal confesses his sins in court like a bad episode of law and order
How groundbreaking. How revolutionary.
Thank god this show is over.
Where else to should a criminal of Saul's stature confess his crimes to then? An confessional with the local priest? Maybe a psychiatrist.
No one blurts out everything they did wrong in court like an autistic 5 year old
So yes to the confessional then?
Honestly the most controversial thing for me was Kim getting away with it. No jail time, no lawsuit, no repercussions that'd cause her to lose her law profession. She literally gets to start anew.
speedwatcher
She's not a lawyer and is probably stuck with YEP guy unless she skips town again
The guard told Saul that his lawyer is visiting him.
>speedwatching the ending
She still had her NM bar card. She's not a lawyer again.
Did you skip the next scene? She got in because she was still a lawyer in NM according to the barnot because she's actually practicing again
She wasted six years of her life living in suburban hell getting railed by the most basic-ass white dude in all of Florida
She took her lumps
homosexual TAKE
This guy is literally paid by the DNC to shill lel
Bob Odenkirk and Dean Norris do it for free.
checked he also sounds like a homosexual if you hear his voice kek
What ending did people want? I'm completely serious did anything even El Camino somehow convince you Jimmy would get away scot free?
I would have been happy with 7 years in a country club prison.
Jesse got away scot free and he was Walt's right hand man and committed crimes way worse than Saul.
Killing GAYLE was community service
he gets away with it and gets back with kim!!!!!! for the love of god this is a love story....THEY ARE MEANT TO BE TOGETHER!!!!!
They always shared the cigarette because they were sharing the risk, sharing the guilt,
sharing the cancer, etc
In the final scene, Jimmy takes the cigarette away before she can get a full drag and smokes the rest himself
also why the flame is in color symbolizing the past
11/10
Poetry honestly
>Color representing the past
>Being able to share a smoke with Kim again
Saul was able to build his time machine. All it took was giving the feds 79 years.
Prison is perfect for Jimmy. All the inmates there respect him and he can perform his pranks/tricks with no fear of repurcussions.
>comparing it to anime
The Salamanca Family are the Uchiha of the BrBa universe.
good finale, the scene with Chuck was ok but I'm glad he got one
I'm drunk
You should try watching Sopranos while drunk. It's it.
JUST THINKING ABOUT THE TIMELINE
Did Breaking Bad cheat by having a violent ending? Is that why it's so praised for its ending? Or was it legitimately better at just wrapping things up and finishing Walt's story?
BCS had a much better ending than Breaking Bad.
Walt is really the only character who needed a fleshed out ending and also had an interesting motivation.
Breaking bad ending was too perfect, it needed more chaos. Something like not being able to kill lydia.
Nah I like how they covered everything
>Walt needed to park the car in a perfect place, guy riding with him was clearly upset with that
>Todd survived the machine to be dramatically strangled by Jesse, but it wasn't actually dumb luck he lived, his uncle told him to break up the fight on the floor
>Lydia was a c**t and just needed to die
Now all the trailers they've shown going into the next week's episode they've always had a certain dialogue that will be played in the next episode. But the one we never heard was the one with Kim giving the oath? That was one of the first trailers they released and we never got to hear that? If we did tell me one because I don't remember I thought that would be said in this episode
>Jimmy takes the 7 years
>eating that ice cream every week
>living good
>he gets out
>meets up with Kim
>they get back together
^^^^^ this is my ending. The ending I just witnessed was the bad timeline.
back to plebbit please
my ending is based. Kimmy x Jimmy forever. i want to go to the happy ending timeline
He wishes he could go back in time to repair the relationship they had together
yeah, I want to see the saul get away in the end and be happy. is that too much to ask?
Even if Chuck was right about him he is the one who always looked down on Jimmy and took every chance he got to spite him
Chuck was right and he was wrong. Jimmy wouldn’t have taken the fall if he knew he couldn’t change
Why the frick do I feel robbed with the final episode?
The prisoners chanting is dumber than any explosion ever could have been.
It was cringe kino mate
It’s embarassingly shit writing mate
how are we looking, nippybros?
it was perfect
CINEMATOGRAPHY DOES NOT GET ANY MORE ON THE NOSE THAN THIS
>No more scenes of nervously shaking of KIM'S TOES!
FRICK YOU VINCE.
well bros I had a good time postan with you all these last few months... Guess ill watch The Sopranos now.
the prisoners chanting because they're locked up with a local celeb is kino.
SOPRANOS DID IT BEST!!
Soul.
Still the best television finale ever in my opinion and still raising questions 15 years later
>raising questions
I’m pretty sure Chase has said that Tony died in multiple interviews. I mean what other interpretation is there?
This thread is moving so fast no one will realize I'm gay.
So am I.
gay
we already knew
I have a boyfriend and I post on Cinemaphile every single day
Fricking homosexual
t. gus
I fricked the sommelier
*smooooooch*
So uhhh, what happened to the Jeff plotline? I guess Saul doesn't say anything about it?
Jeff morphs back into Old Jeff offscreen and gets off scot-free through sheer charisma.
Jokes aside the prisioners chanting "muh better call saul" is straight up cringe material
The only good thingto come out of this finale is Jimmy and Kim sharing a cig like they did in prologue
holy shit guys do you think when he insisted his name was jimmy that had to do with him feeling like a different guy?????????????????????
SOMEONE POST A LINK TO THE EPISODE BEFORE I PISS MYSELF!!!!!!

It's been a fun ride but I'm glad Kim can finally retire and be my full-time mom now
the worst part is that happened until the last second when he threw it away for his brother whos been dead for a gorillion years
Jimmy should've been sentenced to a lifetime of being locked in a dungeon suspended by chains while being flayed slowly every day, being unknowingly fed Kim's remains to keep him """alive """ until he just gives up. Bullshit ending.
Frick off Chuck
i feel cucked for jimmy
he did it all for kim and she doesnt even give a shit, she will live her life while he rots in jail
Imagine if it ended on the moronic ass bus scene
with the intro song
THAT would have been kino
would've been kino
frick vince
actually would have been way better
Way better than the way it ended.
reminder that there will never ever be any more BrBa/BCS content ever again
and that's a good thing
Good, the universe has run its course. No more stories to tell tbh.
Just bc Huell is back in New Orleans doesn't mean his story has wrapped up. New Adventures of Huell and Bill Burr in 2024.
Thank frick, not everything has to be milked into a million spinoff franchises.
You're wrong you fricking homosexual
Probably for the best but I’m still sad to see it all end (although I honestly wouldn’t mind getting more compiled flashback scenes to Breaking Bad).
Thank god. When they did the "Bob and Giancarlo will be le returning in" I thought it was gonna be another fricking spinoff
wait until disney owns it
El Camino but for Bill
Good. One of the worst things hacks do is keep something going that should die a dignified death (star wars comes to mind)
why no final song like breaking bad?
>ITS BETTER CALL SAUL
>BETTER CALL SAUL
>BETTER CALL SAUL
Bus scene kek
worse than Fly
Bravo Vince
So what now, like what do we actually do now?
I DONT KNOW
I DONT
KNOW
Watch House of the Dragon on HBO. I hear it's the Better Call Saul of Game of Thrones
Since this was the last show worth a damn we can finally move on from using the talmundvision (TV)
We wait for the el Camino jailbreak movie
Rewatch BCS from the beginning of course.
I don't know, I kinda want to see Netflix ruin Squid Game season 2.
Just one character break after another for a guy who had been seen to meticulously be careful when the stakes were high.
it was just a bad play on his part, he shouldve taken his lunch in the break room or in his car instead of on a bench where tons of people walk by
It was to show he was still a greedy scammer after everything that happened to him
i.e. Chuck was right
But the scams he did before, every single one with stakes this high had hard planning, and they called it off if it couldn't work.
Now all the trailers they've shown going into the next week's episode they've always had a certain dialogue that will be played in the next episode. But the one we never heard was the one with Kim giving the oath? That was one of the first trailers they released and we never got to hear that? If we did tell me one because I don't remember I thought that would be said in this episode
i liked it
i was good at it
and……………..i was………..alive.
I wanted to like it, but it was a miss
The decision to sacrifice at least 80 additional years of his life because Kim is facing a civil lawsuit was an odd choice.

Best episode since season 3. Not the ending I wanted but it felt in line with the show. Kims a fricking frigid b***h tho for not even giving jimmy some head.
Better Feed Sneed
Digits confirm.
POST YOUR ENDING SONG
>tfw when no gene sitting on a bench telling his story kino for the ending and its revealed it all worked out in the end
brehs...
My head canon is that Saul’s actually still stuck as Gene and everything from Nippy onward is in his mind as he’s stuck in his Cinnabon purgatory with nothing else to do.
the good ending
the only true answer
Bravo Peter
I didn’t expect Bill Oakley to be so based
You doubted Bill Oakley? You absolute madman
GOOD SHOW, GOULD!
that sucked. should've played it off LIKE they were gonna do what they did, but instead have saul go full fricking grimy and sell out kim. would've been kino.
The show didn't need a crazy action packed ending and we got something worth talking about
>Jimmy is going to see Kim on a regular basis
he's in a new mexico jail and kim lives in tallynasty
She's volunteering in new Mexico, he's seeing her again.
no way that legal aid place was in FL
She said her New Mexico bar license doesn't have an expiration date so she's still going to be in New Mexico.
she meant thats how she got in to see him, if it had an expiration date the prison would've noticed.
This ending VERY easily could transition into a Kim spinoff, but I’m not sure there’s really much story to tell there.
No? Kim is done breaking the law what would we even be watching
better rim kim of course
YEP
Just because Jimmy is locked up I don't think that saves her from not being sued considering Howard's wife can't sue Jimmy
kim fricks jimmy on his next birthday visit.
kim visits jimmy 10 years later with her son charles
The "I fought the law" ending unironically would have been more satisfying
Imagine waiting six years for this shit
for a second i thought the bus scene would lead to a break out situation
So if Kim didnt go full moron and never said anything about Howard then Jimmy would have gotten away with it?
Anyone have a screencap of the final shot with Jimmy?
I was thinking more of the one with him disappearing behind the wall

it was a slow burn with no pay off. the confession wasnt even in character, kims presence wasnt enough for him to straighten out any other time with much lower stakes
how disappointing
it was for chuck
I'm still disappointed because it was corny as frick.
he didnt straighten out because she was there, he made the decision before he saw her, he literally said it out loud dumbass
>kims presence wasnt enough for him to straighten out any other time with much lower stakes
Except this was the end of the line. Kim had already laid out on the table everything she had.
we never got closure to who francesca called for her attorney when shit hit the fan
>we'll never find out how Tuco got his gloves back from Mike

>no more mikeposting
Mike bros... i'll miss you all....
who said we're gonna stop mike posting?? 😉 lol
Not your call.
A possible problem with the final episode for me is that there was barely any indication that he was returning to being Jimmy McGill until the final episode. Before the final episode, he was in a downward spiral, becoming more and more far-gone.
A pretty big 180. Whiplash.
>NO COLOUR BLEED IN

Don’t worry anon….there will be another kino we will share together. We will always have the memories, and there will always be more BCS threads.
>mascot ban
What the frick omega?
Beautiful ending.
>Jimmy always hiding and running away from himself
>avoids talking about Chuck's suicide
>changes his name
>avoids the loss of Howard and Kim by living the life of a cartoon character
>finally decides to take responsibility and dispose the mask
>proudly reclaims his old name
>imprisoned for his crimes but freed from his mental prison
Finally someone who wasn’t filtered. Can’t think of a better ending for a show like this. Jimmy got redemption in the end and Kim’s alive. Bittersweet but no deaths, just redemption and a prime examples that regret and guilt can be a prison as well for your mind
he literally Broke GOOD
And with that, the last piece of enjoyable media that was made before the 2015~ shift of games/tv/film becoming utterly trash has ended

THANK YOU FOR WATCHING
kinda nice ngl I’m actually pretty sad that the BB universe is over it’s nice to see everyone one last time
Same, I like how they did this and the thank you videos to Albuquerque.
This whole production feels like a love letter to the fans of the past 14 years.
Yeah it’s truly the end of an era but I’m glad we got to experience this shit and was blessed with two brilliant series that were not abruptly cancelled. Gonna rewatch BCS into BB once more
wtf was with the whole "I'm Jimmy McGill, Saul is dead" bs only to end up at the top of the prison yard and riding his saul reputation regardless.
0/10 no logic in this episode at all. hope they cover this in the next season.
It’s to show that even if He believes he is Jimmy McGill, to the rest of the world he will always be Saul Goodman. There’s no going back from that. Kim calls him Jimmy. He knows he is Jimmy.
yeah, she's the only person that remembers jimmy mcgill. as long as he has that, he's happy
>Jimmy redeems himself while Kim turns into the next Saul Goodman
kino
You can never run away from who you are.
>Skylar, I take…….. LE responsibility for my actions
>Kim, I take……….. LE responsibility for my actions
could they seriously not come up with anything fricking else?
Episode was a SOLID 9/10.
Whoever says the opposite is just mad that it ended.
the one true psycopath in the show
and he gives it all up for an old lady and a woman
SIMP talmudvision
It was a good ending, maybe not better tahn BB, but still a solid ending, and a solid show.
and yes, I think it was better than the sopranos
GABAGOOL
Wtf are you smoking? It was way better than Breaking Bad’s finale and no where near as good as The Sopranos.
>asks mike about a time machine
>mike has regrets
>asks walt about a time machine
>walt has regrets
>jimmy has no regrets
>doesn't ask chuck about the time machine, which could have changed everything
actual bravo vince
It’s really nice to see characters like Jesse and Saul get redeemed. Their arcs were the most satisfying for me.
dude, I KNOW there is some timeline chicanery going on. I just KNOW IT. there will be a deeper dive into the timelines and we will see what happens
I am depressed now and coping by imagining the happy ending timelines.
Bill's career is ruined.
We lost Bill bros.
Hes the new saul.
Better smoke oak
Better Kill Bill
Bros, the prison bus scene was kind of cringe
The show was never serious, have you even been watching the last few episodes?
>dad walks in
>"hey son, what you watching?"
>"oh it's better call saul, sequel to breaking bad. it's the season finale episode"
>"oh is it any good?"
>" BETTER CALL SAUL, BETTER CALL SAUL, BETTER CALL SAUL BE...."
My parents watched bb but haven't touched better call saul and they ask me a lot about it even though I can't tell them about spoilers
The judge is David Cross and the final 10 minutes is just a Mr. Show sketch that ends with a plane falling on the building and killing everyone instantly as it hard cuts to black. Then, the credits is set to "Informer" by Snow.
>This thread is not a sticky anymore
NOOOOOOOOOOO
so what was the point of all the time travel references?
>The thread is not a sticky anymore.
it's over
It's over, sisters.
they didnt totally fumble it, not as good as BB but still a relatively satisfying ending
>thread is no longer a sticky
It's over
*it's ovuh
You know how they say 'it's been a pleasure'? Well... it hasn't.
>slippin jimmy manipulates the justice system to flex on everyone with a legendary plea bargain, wins kim back, and does right by his brother by finally being honest and taking responsibility for his actions
>will spend the rest of his life in prison where everyone respects him
>finger guns
he got the happiest ending possible
he also baited the defense to send him to the jail he actually wanted to go by saying it was the worst jail ever
I hate realism so much. it ruined fun
>Kim could probably blow Jimmy due to the lack of security watching them tbqh but I’m getting ahead of myself here
Ladies and gentlemen, coom brain.
did you see the way kim was looking out those doors? she 100% wanted to gnosh

I'll see you guys in the Straight Man threads next year

what the hell Vince
Now that it’s officially over anons, what were your absolute favorite episodes?
Chicanery is still one of the most satisfying episodes ever
Five O, Pimento, Chicanery, Winner, Bagman from the first 5 seasons
I don't want to say anything about s6 cause of recency bias
Turns out the real Saul... was the friends we made along the way.
BETTER CALL SIMP
It's been real, gentlemen.
>Chuck was sick, Jimmy decided not to have him committed and it was the wrong choice
>Jimmy is sick, decides to commit himself
Bravo
Smackity Lips Guy
Coming in 2023
I really don’t understand why they would have a character arc for Jimmy in the last 15 minutes of the finale episode. Seems like a cop out.
Yeah, where are the montages of him wearing his prison jumpsuit doing the daily grind?
I just came to Kim and that will probably be my last fap to her
which pic was it?
with all of the timeline posting references, when they started to sing on the bus I legitimately thought we were going to get the musical "I fought the law" ending
Saul did get away with it, but Jimmy didn't
>i feel

boy I couldn't be less hyped for more spinoffs
It's over.
Goodbye Better Call Saul and thank you, I'll try
It's over.
Goodnight
No.
Goodnight brother, it has been an honor shitposting in these threads. This is truly the end of an era for this board as it was the only reason I was coming here. Take care.
>inb4 we get an extended directors cut for the finale on the DVD with a huell scene
Jeffbros…
I just realized "Slippin Jimmy" was people mocking him because of the story he tells Walt.
anyone know what the final post counts for the sticky is going to end up?
bye guys
all the threads were fun
It's been a helluva time, /bcs/. I look forward to discussing the show with you folks in the days to come, but I feel a little melancholy we'll never have a new episode to discuss. Maybe some silly spinoff will come out in a few years, who knows.
