I watched the new episode today.

"Pizza Deliverance" was a pretty funny episode.

We start with a new cast, a group of employees at Mama Roni's in Big City watching a movie, 'The Country Cannibal Catastrophe', which one of them, Tina, considers corny. The pizza place has received an order from the country, which scares the other employees, but not Tina, so she takes the order.

It turns out that the order comes from the Greens, who have apparently tried the pizza there before and say it's better. Apparently, it's a sign that the Greens are feeling a little homesick for Big City, which underscores how much living there has changed them. It's a small but very significant writing decision that I think would serve as foreshadowing of a sort.

Meanwhile, as Tina approaches the Green house, she loses her cell signal, which leads her to miss their house twice. It's a fun horror trope as well as great foreshadowing for the next episode segment.

In any case, Cricket tries to catch Tina's attention. The way he does it, by appearing suddenly on the road in front of her, however, leads to her car crashing. The line where he's more concerned about the pizza was really funny. Tina begins to panic and hides in the corn field.

When she sees them talking about the pizza, she imagines seeing Cricket and co. as deranged cannibals causing her to bolt to the forest, where Tilly and Nancy were trimming some trees to pass the time. Tina encounters Tilly, who was making a bunch of wood figures, which she called "Oak-log-homa". She tells her about the supposed cannibals, which Tilly clarifies is just her family. However, it's presented in her point of view as a horror reveal! She runs off, briefly encountering Nancy in a hockey mask and a chainsaw (taking the 'Texas Chainsaw Massacre' vibes) before hiding and locking herself in the barn.

The other Greens begin to snap and break down the door, going all hog wild on her. The part where Cricket's head turned 180° was funny.

Suddenly, Nancy comes in and intervenes, explaining to her that they weren't cannibals and chastising the Greens for acting crazy. Tina hands them the pizza, but she ends up slipping on Cricket's saliva.

The pizza falls on her and they snap again. After Nancy tells her to run, she escapes and drops the pizza on the road and the Greens eat it off as the episode ends.

You gotta appreciate how scary some of the various voice actors get. It's a nice showcase. The decision to switch up the POV to some new characters made for an interesting story, like a standalone horror movie. That was fun.

It was a nice combination of humor and pseudo-horror and a comedy of misunderstandings. 'The Loud House' could learn from it.

"Horse Girl" was another great episode.

Bill has brought home a new horse, or rather a filly due to her age, named Butterscotch, for the day. Unfortunately, there's a problem: Tilly the animal lover actually hates horses. They don't vibe with her.

Now, that kind of thing would make her a great companion for Marie of the Horse Girls from 'Craig of the Creek', but for horse-lover Bill, it breaks his heart, causing her to pass it off as a joke. It doesn't help that Butterscotch reciprocates her dislike.

We follow it up with a nice little musical number showing Bill's love and Tilly's hatred of horses, leading her to take an opportunity for the three to have a picnic to sabotage Butterscotch's stay. There, she throws out her carrots to distract Bill. She proceeds to ransack the picnic by trampling it with horseshoes attached to her shoes to frame Butterscotch, but he interprets it as her acting out and wanting to stay, so he's taking her in.

Meanwhile, for the B-plot, Cricket wants to talk to Gabriella on video chat, but the Wi-Fi is too poor, and it's compounded by Remy also trying to chat with Vasquez and Gramma Alice wanting to see a video of a pie getting squished by a hydraulic press.

He sets off to Patti's Diner, but she doesn't have internet because it's a place of community. Hilariously he gets one of her pies and dunks his tablet onto it, believing that the "No Wi-Fi! Yes Try Pie!" sign meant he has to use the pie for a signal. Obviously, it doesn't work, but he does get to taste the pie after being denied it in "Pie Hard", so that was nice.

Afterwards, he wanders around Smalton and ends up at the junkyard, where Lupita is trying to build a time machine for some reason. Cricket explains his predicament, and she offers him a coat hanger with googly eyes, a clothespin, and a live battery attached to it: it's a Wi-Fi signal booster, but she doesn't know how to actually make it because she isn't able to watch any videos on it. She suggests going to a nearby cell tower just as a storm comes in.

Once the storm rages, Tilly angrily confronts Butterscotch in a very dramatic scene where at the end, she screams, "I hate horses!". Unfortunately, Bill hears it, and the façade crumbles. The shock causes him to drop a basket of apples, and slip on one of them, falling into a raging creek. She's forced to ride Butterscotch and work together to save him. Once safely on dry land, Tilly apologizes for hurting his feelings and lying to him.

Meanwhile, Cricket makes it to the cell tower. There's a break in the clouds, and he finally gets a signal. He calls Gabriella, and the whole conversation is basically just, in order, each other's names, "Hi," and then their goodbyes. It took 12 seconds. Afterwards, he decides to watch the video of the pie being squished; it was, indeed, oddly satisfying.

I thought it was a very fun episode, showing a different side to Tilly. Her particular dislike of horses echoes Molly McGee's dislike for street magic. The B-plot was also pretty funny and also a very relatable experience to anyone who struggles to get an internet connection.

The fact that both episodes have a sense of connection as well as the call-backs in "Horse Girl" was very fun and provided depth.

I would give both episode segments a 10/10. Very delightful to watch.

      Halloween episode 10/10
I was kind of worried it eas going to be Tucker and Dale vs evil which it kinda was but played surprisingly more to horror. Tilly made a great creepy girl, Oak-log-homa was so Tilly but I'm the show emphasis how creepy it is. Love the evil dead reference with the chainsaw being outlined. I would have preferred the cheesy thing of her giving the pizza instead of the double fake out horror twist again.

But that's just me, I do like they committed to the bit having the Greens eat off the street.

        >Horse Girl
Is an interesting episode giving Tilly a weakness in horses. I think it does play to Tilly nit being a typical girl who want ponies. I liked Cricket sub plot a little more, for some reason I really like seeing him interact with Lupita which is weird because it's not in a shipping way. The whole "Hi" was a good joke.

I hope they do keep the horse if only to give Tilly some conflict.

I don’t have much but to add on, for "Pizza Deliverance", a alright Halloween themed episode which Nancy was at least the only sane one along with Tilly until the end, of not acting all crazy for some pizza from the Big City, while the rest were OOC due to not eating anything despite of chasing after the pizza girl, which I felt it was the first to focus on some outside the Greens group.

As for "Horse Girl”, the only parts that were interesting were the Tilly-Bill-Horse subplot, while the other, such as the B-plot involving Cricket trying to find a good signal, just to talk to his boring ass Gabriella, was the weakest link to the episode as it was unneeded and felt like a forthcoming for that Penpal episode involving Cricket and Gabriella, for whatever the shit they have to say. *eyerolls*. Anyways, the only thing that I like about the episode is mainly the Tilly and the Horse. That’s all

I think the horror movie help the grandma be way creepier at least to the Pizza delivery girl. Remmy the only one that felt Ooc but I can see him eating pizza with a knife and fork. This episode really let's Cricket shine on how creepy he can be from an outsider perspective. Like this episode could have been something Gloria experience on her first day of work.

Also you can tell the animators enjoy doing creepy stuff for a Halloween episode.

This is kind of a stretch, the pizza fell on the girl. The girl ran, and jump on the tryck and threw what was left by the pizza on the floor.

I really can't imagine how much pizza would actually be left.
