What went right?
It's actually funny
fpbp, why can't women write women? are they stupid?
It's about women but wasn't MADE by women. So
australians cost WAY less than americans. that's literally it.
The creator can work on a budget.
Koala Man crossover episode when?
Hopefully that gets another season too.
Koala Man is just Yolo watered down with women writers
Yolo also had women writers
Not as much as Koala Man
But Yolo had transwoman writers, that's why they were good
Was this a Justin Roiland-produced show too or was that just Koala Man
Nah just Koala Man. Hulu really hurt that show by dumping it all in the first week of January.
>Hulu really hurt that show by dumping it all in the first week of January.
I have a feeling it was all intentional, did you see how Justin Roiland was canceled literally right before this show was supposed to premiere? They must have known about this beforehand and decided that both due to Roiland and the show being shoddy on account of the fact it was rushed out in an attempt to capitalize off Cusack's smiling friends fame combined Roilands fleeting rick and morty fame
I feel it's also that everyone forgets Roiland is largely from that same batch of edgy 2000s-Early 2010s online animators as Cusack and Hadel.
There's a clip of Hadel calling in to prank call the H3H3 podcast by pretending to be an 11 year old boy obsessed with Logan Paul. Roiland is a guest star on that and you can tell from the look on his face that he immediately realized what was going on from the start of the call while H3H3 and the other guest had to piece it together, so they're all familiar with each other's stuff at least
God I'm so elated about this news. Even though YOLO is shares a lot of DNA with Smiling Friends and is literally what a series-long Bushworld Adventures would be, it's always fallen under the radar and been treated as "niche." Probably the one impressive decision Adult Swim's made in a while.
Sarah's muffin top.
So true!
Will the Amazing Lucas get the girl though?
will he get a kissy?
It's getting a third season? Hell yeah, good for michael. Really underrated show.
Australians are funnier than Americans when they aren’t held back by their nanny government
>Americans are free, but lame
>Australians are under their government's thumb, but based
It's like when the British made their empire all their various positive traits got broken up among their colonies like Exodia pieces.
Tuca and Bertie got canceled only because Aries Spears made Lizzo mad.
T&B got cancelled because of the Discovery-WB Merger
Tuca & Bertie got cancelled because no one fricking watched it. For all the b***hing and moaning that happened after Netflix cancelled it the first time (and the following cheers when [as] revived it), the show was never brought up by anyone during Season 2 & 3's airings. This was especially weird since BoJack is ALWAYS being discussed years after it ended.
Tuca & Bertie failed despite being given a second chance at life. No one is allowed to say it was "done dirty."
I never watched the show, why did many b***h and moan to bring it back?
Female-ran adult cartoons were a rarity at the time and some people thought it'd be the next BoJack. That clearly didn't happen. I don't think anyone even remembers it existed.
I watched it, but the later seasons didn't have as much to discuss as the banger of a first season.
Wasn't this show got cancelled the second time because of the controversy around Tuca's VA?
Ding ding ding ding.
Unlike those other girl “comedy” shows this one can show girls being toxic and having faults with out having to also make them super duper strong an empowering. Like yeah girls can do things that’s fine but sometimes I want to see a b***h be a crazy b***h without layers. Look at Dee from its always sunny she’s hilarious why because sometimes a bird just needs to be a bird.
>Teenage Euthanasia canceled after two seasons
I can't find anything on that. Is that true?
it would be kewl if there was a second rick and morty bushworld adventure
>Birdgirl canceled after two seasons
I'm not remotely surprised. What I watched of the first season was aggressively unfunny, and I doubt it improved.
Source? I haven't seen anything in regards to it being cancelled.
Teenage Euthanasia hasn’t been cancelled… yet.
Teenage Euthanasia signaled the end of the network for me. Because whenever adult swim produced a bad show, it was at least unique in some way. There would be merit in its weirdness.
Teenage Euthanasia felt exactly like a shitty Netflix comedy and I felt dumber watching it. There's no merit to that show and I hope the person who greenlit it dies in a fire.
Well I liked it
Haven't watched it myself since the art style pissed me off, but I remember a couple anons defending it as something that feels right at home with PFFR's other works, so… idk?
I loved all of PFFR's previous work and I think it's a brilliant studio but TE was a really mediocre experience for me. The animation was very shoddy and the jokes were okay at best. Maybe one day I'll try watching S2 to see if it's any better but I'm not in a rush to do-so.
Based on trailers I've seen, it seems like S2 had a bit of an animation upgrade. Any fans of the show wanna confirm?
TE is pretty much PFFR Lite. Not on the same level as Xavier, Shivering Truth or The Heart She Holler but still enjoyable in its own right. Season 2 was definite upgrade both in animation and writing. There was even some bits of wordplay in the last few episodes that would’ve felt at home in an episode of Xavier. Even if season 3 is a no go, it was nice while it lasted.
Never cared about it because of the ugly artstyle and the plots were highly pointless and boring.
Man you guys are so dramatic
It's my god given right to be heavily autistic and dysfunctional
canceled after two seasons
really?
Yes, really.
it was created by a man
it's a cheap 11 minute show compared to all of the others which are expensive half-hour shows
>Any [as] show
>Expensive
Rick and Morty has definitely got to be at least somewhat expensive, especially with their fancy-ass Harvard writing team and since they keep upping the detail in the backgrounds each season
Rick and Morty is literally the only thing keeping [as] alive at this point since they lost the rights to play Macfarlane shit.
which is why they invest most of their time and money in their biggest property
They still have American Dad for the foreseeable future at least
Ans also ordered whatever this is going to be.

The matador lady gives me a Reagan Ridley vibe.
Oh hell yeah!
YOLO S1 > Tuca & Bertie >>>>>>>>> YOLO S2 > Teenage Euthanasia S2 > Three Busy Debras >>>>>>>>> Teenage Euthanasia S1 > Birdgirl
Birdgirl sucked and YOLO shouldn't have gone serialized in season 2, still ok overall
Tuca & Bertie S1 was fine, when it came back it lost a lot of teeth and direction. I'm not 100% blaming the creators since on a network you have different restrictions/censorships to work around but it wasn't worth it in the end imo
Agree with the rest
Frick you serah
ya dumb b***h
>YOU ARE SO STUPID, SARAH! YOU ARE STUUUPID!
>Teenage Euthanasia canceled after two seasons
Really? That's disappointing. Season 2 was a huge step up.
