>black guy was actually rejected from medical studioes because of his race
ok they found a way to handle that token black
also the movie is by the numbers slasher
no fear and suspense of alien. its just dracula jumpscares
>black guy was actually rejected from medical studioes because of his race

yeah it sucks but at least they somehow explained this so gotta give them that
this is the first historical settings film where black guy meets accurate reactions from the rest
>>dude there's always racism against black people
black people always get hired by everyone with no problem.
black people always get hired by everyone with no problem.
That doesn't happen though. Your world view comes from pol memes
I'm going my movie logic where black people always encounter racism yet manage to be all over the place in these old times like there's no racism
Jesus was Palestinian. Are Palestinian people black?
WE
My worldview comes from nogs who still complain that they can't get to the same level as everyone else because of racism and institutional racism and "we need equity not equality" and why we need to ignore accuracy for diversity and, well all the other shit you homosexuals spew
Oh shit. Is that why 6% of black americans are unemployed and 25% are underemployed? Magic?
yeah, it's called them having their cake and eating it too on the wokeathon
guy was actually rejected from medical studioes because of his race
this is so fricking dishonest holy shit. These people live in a leftist1950s rape and revenge fantasy land
Dracula was set in contemporary times when it was written, which was 1897.
Reminder that any evidence of inequality is due to "racism". Doesn't that make Asians the most racist group of all?
That's literally the way leftist thinking is going these days, look at their hate for israelites for being privileged whites.
>also the movie is by the numbers slasher
That's what the trailer promised.
>Was originally going to star Viggo and Noomi
Worthless
why is Dracula some CG bat monster the whole time instead of a weird creepy guy unaccounted for by the crew?
Dracula isn't CGI bat. It's literally Javier in costume and makeup. They only used CGI for far shots of Dracula flying high above the ship.
he need some milk
Another fricking Dracula. Renfield wasted Cage performance so much I'm sick of Dracula movies.
You can spot a shill post by the fact that it's mentioning Alien. The last 30 did too.
Normal humans would not all make that parallel, because it's a huge stretch.
Please explain why a shill post would shit on the movie instead of, you know, shilling it?
Shitting on a movie and praising a movie have the exact same effect on this board. Putting eyeballs on its name and poster.
Yeah, I forgot how Morbius was a massive success after it got shit on so much on here.
why would i shill for this movie? i mwarning you. the biggest problem with this film is that it is BORING as frick
expected 8 but its 4 to 6 depending how you count
black guy wanted to be a doctor to help people in africa but they rejected him from university so he joined sailors and practiced as doctor onboard
black guy seems to be main hero but i say dracula is main character there. they made a dracula film about dracula and with humans acting as unlikeable vampire food
he survives but lady is sick and generally there is confusing blood plot. if dracula bites someone they dont turn into vamires but they rather explode or evaporate or burn. there is something weird with ladys blood but theres is no romance at all
Him surviving is fricking moronic and you saved me a ticket thanks
It makes sense though. Would you want to drink Black person blood if you were Dracula? But yeah it is stupid to have him survive since in the book Dracula crashed the ship with no survivors.
that's because the book was written by a WHITE MALE!
They were only expecting one colored on board.
>he survives
Cringe
>if dracula bites someone they dont turn into vamires but they rather explode or evaporate or burn
What the frick
>muh dracula
Why do they refuse to make a Carmilla movie?
Not enough name recognition and even if it would be leslie jones or akwafina.
Carmilla sucks, it's mostly victorian girls talking about boring victorian girl shit. All the good stuff in Carmilla was appropriated by Stoker and done much better by him in Dracula.
The Vampire Lovers and Blood & Roses are both good 60s kinos based on Carmilla
I see a black guy where he doesn’t belong I don’t watch, it’s literally that simple. Enjoy your revisionist propaganda.
he belongs here. they kicked him from university because hes black so he joined the crew. they are basically step below pirates. they handled black guy better than in any revisionist crap before.
i wish more retro movies handles token blacks like this. not revisionist crap where they are accepted by the socieity
Let me guess, he survives and fricks the white lady?
nah, survives and leaves that b***h in the dust
so is it worth a watch or what?
How woke is this? From 1 to 10.
Seems more like a streaming movie that something they'd release in theaters. Zoomers probably don't even know who Dracula is, and have no interest in anything post 2010.
Is there even a dracula fortnite skin?

Bram Stoker's Dracula '92 beating Nosferatu '22 is a goddamn disgrace.
It's over a hundred years old.
Basically a different medium.
Like yeah it should be appreciated for what it is but surely it isnt surprising that audiences find it inaccessible.
Reeves and Ryder's awful accents/acting is far more distracting than 100 year old acting. Especialy since it's juxtaposed with Oldman and Hopkins.
Nosferatu is probably one of the most palatable silent movies by today's standards though. It also feels more like a proper storybook adaptation compared to other Dracula movies that lean into the grotesque and risqué. I also think the ending of Nosferatu is better than Dracula 1931.
>Bram Stoker's Dracula '92 beating Nosferatu '22 is a goddamn disgrace.
It's a disgrace but it's predictable. I don't hate that movie but it's weirdly overrated. It doesn't even make my top 6.
Coppolas Dracula was shit, the 31 was probably the best version.
I didn't even know it starred a black Black person
Studios are getting wise about hiding their propaganda. Same with barbie. Trailers showed fun bubblegum popcorn comedy not anti male troony propaganda
Conceptually, it's a neat idea even though you know how it's gonna play out and I dont even mind the mandated Black person. The trailer looked like it was going to be exactly as you described it so I'll skip this one. Wasted potential.
Is it good tho? Is it worth watching in a theatre or should I just watch it on the high seas?
how about just not watching it at all.
Another fresh banger from the studio that brought you Dracula Untold, The Mummy and Renfield.
>How can we inject muh racism into a Dracula movie
Honest question.
When will forcing black people into shit stop? I haven’t watch like 30% of movies/shows that have come out in the past 10 years because of this
fricks sake man, its not important in this film.
It’s still forced. Just because they explained it doesn’t make it not forced.
Shut the frick up, b***h. Black people exist. Black people have always existed. And we will never stop existing. Get over it or have a nice day.
You should be embarrassed about having no culture of your own and having to be fricking grafted on and snuck into the stories of whites. The movie has a 40% rotten rn anyway so I’m not watching regardless.
>Nignog on board
>People bothering to talk to him at all
>Dracula flying around where everyone can see him and risks falling in the water
>Smashing Pumpkins
>Shitty CG jump scares
Looks like colossal throw-away dogshit
Looks like kid killing is back on the menu, boys!
