There are at least two samurai fights. I'll add a third because seeing honorabu samurai get acked by the cannons was hilarious. Unlike Black Sails there were no blacks or gay shit either.
it progressively gets worse, but i still enjoyed it. seasons 1 and 2 are leagues better than 3 and 4, but i didn't care how shit it got as long as flint was around.
i won't try to convince you, but having just watched the entirety of it recently, the first episode is alone in being particularly corny. between the quips and general cheesiness from the characters, you wouldn't expect the rest of the show to be just like.. almost exclusively political maneuvering.
i nearly didn't finish the first episode myself, but the second one made me glad i did and the rest of the season hooked me after that.
It has a scene where the whole island gang rapes a prostitute for a whole week with she just tied up in doggy position. This show got real brutal at times

don't need one. Shogun was a once-in-a-lifetime kino experience. I laughed, I cried, I coomed, I felt deep feels. Now I can die happy and complete.

You think it's going to be this big epic show but everything is all done on the same three sets and it's nothing but conversations with one or two action pieces per season.

The answer is zero. If you add up all the fighting in Shogun it's like ten minutes combined. The show is just talking and talking and talking.
