>completely bullshit leaps in logic
name one
no
I win
...is what Kira would say. Meaning I should actually claim that I lost, but would Light do something like that? L believes I'm too uptight to accept a loss so easily, but maybe he knew that I knew that if he knew I'd claim that I lost, meaning that I HAVE to claim that I won.
Not op but how about the beginning scene when he set up the guy on television as bait to die and then started assuming a bunch of things about Kira.
>be L
>know Kira kills at a distance
>have someone impersonate himself
>only air it in Kanto, Japan
>*dies*
>taunts Kira
>doesn't die himself
this ain't it chief
>>only air it in Kanto, Japan
Because he somehow saw everyone he killed was aired on the television there...
he says he was going to air them in each region one by one, it just so happened that his convict died immediately
his double, and not himself
interesting. (...)
He didn't "somehow see". I noticed most of the suspicious deaths were of Japanese criminals, so he focused in japan, and then started in the Kanto region of japan because it had the highest population and so statistically it's more likely kira would be there.
>I noticed
frick off L you're dead
lmfao, I think I hit lowercase L by mistake.
>I noticed most of the suspicious deaths were of Japanese criminals
That wasn't his reasoning. The first criminal heart attack in the lead up to the world noticing Kira was some guy in Japan whose crime was only broadcast in Japan.
L decided that was the first Kira death and reasoned Kira was in Japan.
Light had been killing criminals globally without bias to Japan prior to L's broadcast since it was mentioned that after the broadcast Kira began killing more Japanese criminals as a taunt to L.
>Light had been killing criminals globally without bias to Japan prior to L's broadcast since it was mentioned that after the broadcast Kira began killing more Japanese criminals as a taunt to L.
Then that's even more reason for L to suspect
>he asumes that after all of his gloating on national tv, kira won't just fricking move
>Because he somehow saw everyone he killed was aired on the television there...
Jesus, anon. The world's intelligence agencies could easily go through the broadcast history of every region in the world to find out exactly when each murdered criminal was made known to the public in that specific area. You just have a severely limited imagination.
>and then started assuming a bunch of things about Kira.
Some people are good at inference, anon.
The whole idea of his character was that he was weird and awkward as frick, but his operated at a higher level than nearly every other human on the planet. He was Light's exact equivalent without the chad charisma and sociopathy, but instead having actual integrity and a true sense of justice. He immediately points out that Kira has an immature perspective when it comes to justice and he was right. Light was intelligent, but he was a dumb as shit. Executing dipshittery to a genius level extent doesn't change it being dipshittery.
Him using the actor as bait was neither immoral nor a complete leap in logic. The actor was about to be killed no matter what L thought or did so his morals are in the clear. He noticed the patterns of Light's murders perfectly and he was 100% correct about everything so no, you can't call any of it a "leap in logic"
Maybe some people have legitimate reasons to dislike the ending of the anime. But for 99.9% of people, they're just developmentally-stunted morons who viewed Light as the good guy and just couldn't handle him getting his comeuppance.
>But the author wanted it to end with-
Don't care. Most weebs are just too moronic to handle the idea of a protagonist not being the good guy, and they hated the ending purely because Light didn't win.
>Maybe some people have legitimate reasons to dislike the ending of the anime. But for 99.9% of people, they're just developmentally-stunted morons who viewed Light as the good guy and just couldn't handle him getting his comeuppance.
The ending wasn't bad because Light lost, the ending was bad because Near one (and even just existed).
I would argue that believing all forms of killing is bad is also an incredibly immature perspective.
>Maybe some people have legitimate reasons to dislike the ending of the anime. But for 99.9% of people, they're just developmentally-stunted morons who viewed Light as the good guy and just couldn't handle him getting his comeuppance.
Was with you until this. People really need to stop with this "those who disagree with me all just le didn't understand le story xD". Death Note was great until Ls death and meh afterwards. If you disagree then I won't insult you for it though because I'm not so insecure about my views that I try to attack people on a personal level for disagreeing with me.
When Light gave him a hint that Kira has access to police information he immediately assumed that Kira must be someone working on the case or be close to that person. He never considered the possibility that Kira could get that information without having personal connections even though he knew so little about Kira and his powers.
process of elimination, it was clear where kira was based, it was clear that he was clumsy and childish, while displaying great intelligence, it was clear he had access to police data in japan, its not even a stretch
How does any of this confirm that Kira has personal connection to the police?
the people he killed that weren't on the news and located in the city that kira lived in, wtf?
Light was mostly killing Americans.
this refutes nothing I said, huh?
I should be the one saying that.
idiot
That thing with the angry birds was so contrived
>dies
>you stop watching
i liked Near in the manga
Are you me?
Me because L was somewhat realistic.
Near had plot brain and was a typical anime antagonist. I quit after he escaped the riots by pouring millions of dollars out of a blimp or something.
First Half of DN was realistic. Second half was bullshit anime shit
he poured them from the windows of the building
I think something interesting that's never really talked about with deathnote is that it's not really an intellectual show, its a show 'about' intellectuals (by design). After reading bakuman I got the impression they wrote deathnote less like a brainy character study, and more like a blockbuster where every chapter/episode ends on a larger and larger cliffhanger and each part raises the stakes higher and higher.
Yeah they really dropped the ball killing L half way through. The replacements were annoying.
White Emo L was more enjoyable and interesting to the show than Black Netflix L
Never saw netflix adaptations, never will
It's not the worst thing ever.
As bad as that movie was, homie L was unironically a good performance. Its stupid pandering to cast a black guy as L, but I would absolutely watch a show of that guy playing an autistic black nerd who solves crimes.
British L is far superior
his running after Light was straight out of a horror movie, his legs are teleporting around like an alien
the homie that played L was actually a big fan of death note, he was probably disappointed by how shit the adaptation he was in was
I'm watching it now for the first time and so far I agree, he's a good L, however this guy his he watched the show and maybe even read the manga, a lot
I think everyone knew it was doomed as soon as the nig appeared in the trailer
Racist much? Black L was far from a Black person
Black L it was more based than Weeb L
Personally I just didn’t like light as a moronic school shooter type and the weird futuristic gun thing felt way out of place
As much as I Love emo L's design, black L was completely fine, he was just in a crappy movie with an even worse script.
>supposed to be """""""""""""""intelligent"""""""""""""
>immediately reveals his identity
>trusts a weak team that can easily die or abandon the mission
>gives up and admits defeat instead of trying until his last second to win the game
The most moronic "smart" character
>immediately reveals his identity
Near was smarter there, only meeting face to face with Kira once he knew he won
Smart people doing dumb shit out of ego is a running theme in Death Note
>THE ONLY REASON LIGHT BECAME A SUSPECT WAS BECAUSE OF HIS DAD'S CONNECTION TO THE TASK FORCE
>"just one last question before I go, to the members of the japanese task force. Was there ever a point in the investigation where the second L was suspected to be Kira even if the suspicion was later dropped? If you’ve been listening to our conversations so far and have any intention of helping my investigation in taking down Kira, then call the number I’m about to give you. Day or night, I will answer. The choice is up to you"
L was never able to make the task force suspect that Light was Kira. He was alone with that suspicion. Near was able to do it without meeting them personally and after Soichiro died
The show is about what midwits think would happen when 2 "intelligent" people would clash.
t.midwit
>"Tell me, Light, from the moment you were born, has there ever been a point where you've actually told the truth?"
*spits out coffee
if I remember right, does Light just stare at him for ages without answering?
the sound cuts out to emphasize how shocking it is
L knows he is going to die very very soon, and he's had it, and just calls Light out because he cannot get the evidence needed to convict
that scene is a gut punch.
I also think L is depressed because he realises that the only person who is on his intellectual level is also a complete monster
yeah, it's insanely relatable personally. L tells Light he's the only friend he ever had. and within moments Light is smiling as L dies.
yea it would frick you up to encounter that level of evil
>"My son isn't kira because... HE'S JUST NOT OKAY!"
His death was one of the stupidest things I have ever witnessed.
Light begging him on his deathbed to kill Mello using the notebook, despite Soichiro never taking a life before, was his lowest point. It's implied he only cried at Soichiro's death because he didn't get to kill Mello
good thing there was a near omniscient paranormal investigator with severe physical and mental problems like a comic book villain to suss out the main character of my motion manga picture
>I have absolutely zero reason to believe you are Kira
>however I will continue aggressively investigating you because I have no other suspects
>I have determined that you are, in fact, not Kira
>however I will continue aggressively investigating you because I still have no other suspects
everytime Light did something to disarm and throw off the investigation into him, he would make some smart alleck remark that cemented him as the kind of guy Kira is suspected to be. he just kept stringing them along like an butthole.
Not true. L had no reason to suspect Light after the potato chip surveillance scene, but he continued to do so anyways.
one of the most pivotal scenes i was referencing was that one idiot, on surveillance he says verbatim what Kira would be thinking, and L smirks he's being so coy
LIFE
Absolutely nothing about Death Note is good other than the character designs and the scenes where Light is first learning to use the Death Note.
it doesn't even get good until a few episodes in
>you now remember just how boring the season where Light forgets everything and nothing happens is
In reality there wouldn't be any investigation. People would just assume it's natural.
yeah, in real life Christians would assume it's God
Lots of people die every day for heart attack. I checked out Japan and it's 200,000 per year. A bunch of criminals dying from the same disease that kills so many people wouldn't bother anyone.
>People would just assume it's natural.
People would think the police were murdering people in custody and their would be major journalistic inquiries.
Would the japanese REALLY give half a shit about a bunch of prisoners getting killed? It'd be page 4 news probably, unless the deaths were fantastical
In reality they’d force people to take a fake vaccine for it
This. VAIDS proved it, they'd just call it sudden adult heart attack syndrome, that is as long as you only targeted poor criminals.
>"the difficulty of this case lies on its unprecedented scope. And make no mistake. We are witnessing an atrocious act of mass murder, one that is unforgivable"
L is a great character
By the time L does the body double stunt he already knows:
>killer is extremely intelligent
>killer has an immature outlook on the world
>is somehow connected to police
>most likely a student as less deaths during school hours (initially)
He wanted to work with the Japanese task force to investigate and get closer to them and their families. Once he found someone that fit the profile perfectly his gut instinct took over, happens all the time with modern investigators also. He’s not perfect, sure, but he doesn’t make any improbable leaps.
>but he doesn’t make any improbable leaps.
cmon, he has their home under total surveillance and watches Light intently for hours while he studies for an entrance exam. After Kira kills some petty criminals during this time, L concludes that it all looks too innocent and he still is highly suspicious.
He had no idea how the killings were being initiated so not surprising he didn’t even know what he was looking for and no amount of surveillance would alter his suspicion until he knew what/how the killings were happening.
Also
Plus the closer he gets to light the more frequently kira’s tactics change which is even more suspicious. OP is just a moron and can’t connect dots
has an immature outlook on the world
>>is somehow connected to police
>>most likely a student as less deaths during school hours (initially)
literally all this shit happened after
He only mentioned it after because he was actively investigating the task forces family members and didn’t want them to know. He literally spells it all out after to build trust with them. You are moronic
See
>He only mentioned it after because he was actively investigating the task forces family members and didn’t want them to know. He literally spells it all out after to build trust with them. You are moronic
you literally just fricking assumed this
He says it to them, it’s in the show moron.
you assumed that he had this knowledge during the body double stunt, dipshit
Just ignore dialogue in the show then whatever
just ignore your own moronation then whatever
>>most likely a student as less deaths during school hours (initially)
Or literally anyone with a job that doesn't have to go drinking with their boss.
>>most likely a student as less deaths during school hours (initially)
Surely this could also be work hours?
>most likely a student as less deaths during school hours (initially)
student hours are literally normal work hours though
*kills you for your bullshit leaps in logic*
It bothers me that nobody ever points out that L is supposed to be this great detective but once he finds out Kira is in the Kanto region because he killed the decoy, HE FRICKING ANNOUNCES THAT HE KILLED THE DECOY.
L could have make Kira think he’s dead and Light wouldn’t have thought the police were after him so he’d get caught quickly.
To be fair, L wanted to confirm that Kira can't kill unless he has a face + name.
> According to the official census on October 1, 2010, by the Japan Statistics Bureau, the population was 42,607,376,[4] amounting to approximately one third of the total population of Japan.
>guesses it's Light after like 2 days
heh, nothing personnel logic
Near was able to guess that Mikami was a death note user because…. BECAUSE HE JIST DID OKAY? YEAH THOUSANDS OF PEOPLE CLAIM TO HAVE BEEN SPOKEN TO BY KIRA BUT THIS GUY WAS PICKED OUT BY NEAR ON A WHIM BECAUSE…. HE JUST WAS!!!!!
>very outspoken believer in Kira
>put an investigator on his tail
>lets on too much that he is an associate
nothing personnel file
I assure you it was all very rational.
>I know that Kira will send his note to a devoted Kira supporter.
>Kira knows that I know that he will send his note to a devoted Kira supporter.
>I know Kira wants me to determine the identity of the supporter so that He can enact his plan that relies on me determining the identity so that I can thwart his plan with my plan.
>Kira knows that I know Kira wants me to determine the identity of the supporter so that He can enact his plan that relies on me determining the identity so that I can thwart his plan with my plan.
>I know Kira will pick a supporter from TV debate shows that are publicly available.
>Takada was chosen as spokeswoman for Kira.
>Checks shows that have Takada as a host.
>Mikami shows up a bunch very openly a devoted Kira supporter.
>Hey let's check this guy out.
>The killer acts like a grade school age top performer with a close relationship to the police force.
>Oh look it’s a grade school age top performer with a close relationship to the police force.
>Nah probably nothing there, better move on to the 42,000,000 other morons that don’t fit the profile at all
it makes too much sense, i NEED to b***h and complain you see
>>The killer acts like a grade school age top performer with a close relationship to the police force.
How does he act like this?
>The killer acts like a grade school age top performer
this specifically that's so vague
>don’t fit the profile at all
the profile he pulled out of his ass with extremely limited information like he was reading the script
>The killer acts like a grade school age top performer
Why?
>close relationship to the police force.
Why?
Both are merely assumptions based on virtually nothing. It's not like school hours are that different from work hours. So why he assumes it's a school kid?
Why would a kid of some police officer had access to criminal files? If they were classified then that would be illegal. If they were easily available then everyone had access to them. Or it could be a hacker. So many possibilities.
Another thing. Japan isn't exactly known for its massive murder rate and yet we are suppose to accept that television shows and names multiple murderers every single day.
Also:
>Cardiovascular diseases (CVDs) are the leading cause of death globally, taking an estimated 17.9 million lives each year.
I doubt Light efforts would be even noticeable in real world.
You are an absolute moron if any of what you posted is difficult for you to follow.
>wow fatal cardiac events among convicted criminals with no history of heart disease is up 20x in a week
>nothing suspect here
In the first episode they debate what the cause is. L narrows it down to one because there is no inconsistency in victim selection. Thank god you are not an actual investigator
There are so many criminals no one would even care. Especially if it was worldwide.
>nothing suspect here
Yeah, maybe a new disease or something. Not a killer murdering people using paranormal means.
>Yeah, maybe a new disease or something
A disease that appears all at once at different parts of the world at the exact same time?
Really?
People would jump through a lot of mental hoops before even 5% of the population would accept
>LMAO MAGIC IDK
They didn't suspect magic, they didn't suspect any particular murder weapon all they saw a trend.
Why was the first step in the investigation testing for magic then?
It was testing to see if death was remote or not.
Remote killing could theoretically mean anything, not instantly just magic
>>Both are merely assumptions based on virtually nothing. It's not like school hours are that different from work hours. So why he assumes it's a school kid?
Iirc Light killed on week days between 4pm and 2am, a typical 9-5 would rule that a normal working. I think its also important to note he says its just speculation and that part of his hunch is on the naïve nature of the killings.
>>I doubt Light efforts would be even noticeable in real world.
I think people would notice if suddenly and seemingly all at once incarcerated criminals just started dying of heartattacks. Even just 1000's of jacked inmates with 0 history of heart problems just start dropping would be a clear statistical improbability bordering on impossibility. Especially if some of them are dying live on TV during car chases or hostage situations.
>lol ackshually this one time he randomly went to the bank was your demise
shit ending tbh
>L solves the case and dies like a b***h
>N shows up and does literally nothing because "L said you're Kira lol"
>Also that blonde b***h was stalking Light yagami for a while and didn't kill him because ?????????
Also wasn't Light breaking death note rules at some point? Or did Ryuk just not fricking care?
As a kid I was impressed by the anime.
Now as an adult I've decided to revisit it but in the manga format. It's the exact same story almost scene for scene and word for word but you're right, he's making leaps in logic and it became so cringe that I've stopped reading it by chapter 14.
it's okay you're not smart enough to understand the logic, death note just isn't for you
>manga is same as anime
wrong. the manga constantly jumps forward and backward in time, where the anime almost entirely chronological progression.
This is because an anime of a popular manga can afford to start with a boring episode where basically nothing happens. The first issue of a manga can not afford to take this risk so they have to be written all stupid so every 5 minute chapter still has a cliffhanger somehow.
Shut the frick up insufferable weeb.
It's the exact same narrative and scenes.
Tranime btw.
>losing the argument
>resorts to name calling
>invokes trannies for some reason.
reading manga is more weeb than watching anime, what are you talking about anon
*someone explains something about Persian culture*
>Hmmm how interesting
*someone explains something about South American culture*
>Hmmm how interesting
*someone explains something about Japanese culture*
>Shut the frick up insufferable weeb
Not exactly. A lot of part 2 subplots got butchered and shortered. Near's part especially received a lot of cuts, including scenes that made him much more enjoyable
>the anime about a demon dropping a book into the world where you can write someones name in it and they die requires you to take leaps of logic to enjoy
oh wow
>it doesn't have to be internally consistent if it has a fantastical premise
this line of argument is pathetic
true, i was waiting for spongebob to show up halfway through
I fricking hate death note with a passion but all the people trashing it in this thread are morons
>I hate death note but now that I've met other people that hate death note I'm mad
how does someone as stupid as you manage to live this long?
That's not Near, anon.
The most beautiful scene in anime history
That is one salty fricking potato chip.
>"i had to test this, just in case, but i never thought it would actually happen. Kira, it seems you can kill people without having to be there in person. I wouldn't have believed it if i hadn't just witnessed it. Listen to me, Kira. If you did, indeed, kill Lind L. Tailor, the man who you just saw die on television, I should tell you that he was an inmate whose execution was scheduled for today. That was not me. The police arrested him in absolute secrecy, so you wouldn't have heard of him on TV or through the internet. It appears not even you have access to information about these types of criminals... But I assure you, L is real. I do exist. Now…try to kill me! (taunts him for a while) Well Kira, it seems you can't kill me after all. So there are some people you can't kill. You've given me a useful hint. Let me return the favor. I'll tell you something that I think you'll find interesting. Although this was announced as a worldwide broadcast, the truth is, we are only broadcasting in the Kanto region of Japan. I had planned to broadcast this message around the world until we found you, but it looks like that won't be necessary. I know now where you are. The police treated your first killing as an unrelated incident, but in actuality, the first of your victims was a suspect in Sinjuku. Of all the criminals that recently died of heart attacks, this one's crime was, by far, the least serious. Furthermore, his crime was only ever reported inside Japan. I used that information to deduce this much. You are in Japan and your first victim was little more than an experiment, which means you haven't been killing for very long. We decided to broadcast in Kanto first because of its large population, and, luckily, we found you. To be completely honest with you, I never expected that things would go this well, but it won't be too long now before i am able to sentence you to death"
badass moment
Reads like a Cinemaphile shitpost
>The police arrested him in absolute secrecy, so you wouldn't have heard of him on TV or through the internet.
>people can be arrested, tried, convicted and sentenced to death in absolute secrecy in japan
wtf
How do you think Japan is run? The yakuza controls everything over there, dude. They wouldnt want their operatives to be known to the public since Japan still has the pretense in the eyes of the world that "Japan is peaceful and no bad things ever happen there and there is no secret mob rulership in the Diet"
L was fine, Near however was total bullshit
Yeah, because L was written to be smart person.
Near was written to be a smart anime antagonist.
>Be a show about a battle of the minds
>L just dies like a homosexual
Why did they do this
Light was mad they didn't swordfight after drying each other off with the towel
>drying each other off with the towel
that shit was mad gay lool
obviously put in there for fanservice for all the stupid hot topic b***hes lmao
the live action japanese movie version is my headcanon ending. both died but L won
>"No. You are just a murderer, Light Yagami. And this notebook here is the worst murder weapon in the history of mankind. If you had been a normal person and used this notebook once out of curiosity... you would have been surprised and scared of what happened, and regretted what you had done. And never used this notebook again. To speak of extremes, I can actually understand those who would use this notebook for their personal interests and kill a couple of people, and even think that they're normal. But you yielded to the power of the notebook and Shinigami and have confused yourself with a god. You're just a crazy mass murderer. Nothing more and nothing less"
say what will about Near, but his speech at the end of manga was good
>the worst murder weapon in the history of mankind
I bet more people died in the bombing of Tokyo than were killed by Light.
I don't like it post L like everyone else but the ending/last episode is kino
"Stupid Light, thinking that might makes right!"
"Japan surrendered after two atomic bombs..."
"...."
Burgers did that to save hundreds of thousands of soldiers life, as a land Invasion of Japan would had been a much bigger bloodbath for everyone involved. It was a rational choice.
Violent criminals have very large rates of recidivism and a great many of them get released on technicalities or do not serve life sentences / get executed. Light could argue that the total amount of human lives saved by cleanly killing every single criminal on the planet would be higher than allowing them to remain alive. In addition to saving the government a lot of money on feeding and housing said criminals that could be used for public welfare.
He just wasn't capable of articulating that argument because he was a violent psychopath, but the people who arrested him really only did it over a personal grudge and to satisfy their own ego.
The second Japanese film had a much better ending.
Both endings sucked.
Should have just cut a side deal with girl's demon to pretend to kill him.
>So, Japanese police, were you planning on prosecuting me for using magical powers to kill people that I was nowhere near? How's that court case going to go, you think?
That's all he had to do.
Not hard to prove all the murders in the notebook Prisoner X dies by heart attack and they show the date
It doesn't matter. People who are 100% guilty with more evidence get let off because of muh legal system.
Im not sure murder by shinigami is prosecutable
THREAD THEME
>Kill murderers
>People flip their shit
What the FRICK does ~~*media*~~ mean by this?
he was trying to play god!
re Naomi Misora disappearance
>upon further investigation, we have confirmed that information of the heart attack victims was in fact publicly available in Japan immediately prior to their deaths. Also, concerning L's request that we investigate the time of death for each victim, we found that all of them occurred between the hours of 4 p.m. and 2 a.m. on weekdays, local time, with sixty-eight percent of them occurring between 8 p.m. and 12 a.m. Weekends and holidays appeared to be the exception to this rule as the times of deaths vary much more widely than during the week
>that information is extremely relevant for us. It suggests that, given the times of death, our suspect could very well be a student. Based on the fact that Kira is only killing criminals, I think it's safe to assume that he is driven by a very idealistic notion of justice. It's highly possible he may even aspire to be some sort of godlike figure. We're dealing with the individual who has a very childish concept of right and wrong. Of course, this is mere speculation at this point, but still, I recommend you re-examine any assumptions you've made as to whether or not our suspect could be a student. We must consider every possibility. I believe that's the shortest route to finding and arresting Kira
Light was too predictable
>with sixty-eight percent of them occurring between 8 p.m. and 12 a.m
So when office workers return home?
>42 million people in Kanto
>after like a week they found their main suspect based on the fact that most deaths occurred between 8 p.m. and 12.am
>they have no other info
Yup, reasonable.
lol
>after like a week they found their main suspect based on the fact that most deaths occurred between 8 p.m. and 12.am
They know he operates in Kanto, they know when info is broadcasted, they know when deaths occur, and they know he has access to police info.
That profile alone narrows it down so much because they know it matches students who are related to police, police that have access to info other police don't.
Murder and rape is wrong.
There's nothing childish about simply killing those people and being done with it.
Our bastard of justice is far too slow and inefficient, especially given that every European and America's state believes there is no God.
That means somewhere right now is some young man who's going to rape and murder someone. They'll do it again and again. They'll get away with it and die of old age in 60 years.
This is what happens when communities are forced to rely upon the state and when those communities have very low trust so nobody cares about anybody else.
L made no leaps. His logic operated on a meticulous and thorough process of elimination to pinpoint his suspect.
It operated on plot convenience.
it's easy this detective lark
He deduced there was a second Kira because "Kira's" modus operandi completely changed for no reason and "he" suddenly started trying to draw attention to "himself." It wasn't a logical leap at all.
Some mad lad actually defended this. Just admit it's ridiculous and we can move on.
more like sus note
*blocks your path with endless plothole from that one scene*
Wow , he is LITERALLY me
Who would win a volcel schizo with a magic book or an incel schizo backed by authority ? Dumb anime.
>Just literally keep doing exactly what you were doing before and pretend the guy doesn't exist
>If you ever get arrested say "Are you implying magic exists or something?"
>Never get convicted because the state has to prove fricking magic exists to convict you
gg ez no re
>>"Are you implying magic exists or something?"
>they touch the notebook
>they see the giant god of death
>make judge touch notebook
>found guilty
I mean if one of them touches the death note, they have concrete fricking evidence magic exists.
Alright in hindsight the black notebook with DEATH NOTE in all caps with the names of everyone that got killed would probably be admitted into evidence even if they didn't think there was magic. But also it would probably only be handled through latex gloves right? So no death god for them, but that would be pretty harsh evidence against you.
>Mfw there is a 95% probability that OP is gay
and 5% probability OP is trans
What ever happened to that blonde goth snack he had laying around? Why didn't he just like slam pipe on her constantly and write every single killing to be like a year ahead of time?
Light dub kinda sounds and acts like Richard Spencer
so we all agree it was autism right?
>tfw no Misaki
>tfw no Misa
Where's my fricking arc?
There'll be no women in your life lad, give ye heart over to Christ instead.
Christ put us here to procreate, I can not deny his Will. I must persue a harem, even if I fail in my quest (the Lord does not want me to be burdened to one woman)
all you have to do is stop taking your medication anon
seriously!
i did that simple trick for only a week and popular supermodels came to my door to tell me they loved me for their own dumbass reasons and i sure as hell wont tell them no haha
Misa was dumb bawd and Misaki is fricking batshit.
Misaki isn't batshit she's just damaged and trying to save others because she wants someone to save her, I could save her
Regardless even if they were a dumb bawd and batshit, that is perfect for a harem.
Misaki is one of the worst types of chicks you can get attached to. They will destroy you psychologically in order to feel better about themselves.
That's why you should be allowed to beat women.
You are a Kaiji character
we're all kaiji characters. And I'm kaiji. Not sure what that makes you guys...
I'm literally Akagi so we even out.
L and Light are smart characters written by a dumb person, to whom smart people are indistinguishable from wizards.
>sir we tracked down Light using his smart phone and was suspiciously in contact with several kira victims
>records of his bank account show he bought a portable tv and his service provider confirm he has been watching news 24/7
>also this AI computer program that analyzes who Kira is says that Light has 95% probability
imagine the hand cramps from writing 20,000 names. and 20000 people isn't even that many to kill if you really want to make a dent in the world. Or writing a million names, which is like 2 million words. Mega arthritis up the ass
was it kino bros...?
this is amazing
moronic teenage me sure thought so all those years ago
I read that if someone in current day used the deathnote, they would be found in 3 days
He's a genius, so why roundhouse kick a guy who's handcuffed to you?
Always feel like I should go back to welcome to the nhk but it's too depressing
Which Cinemaphile detective would be able to catch Kira? My money's on Columbo
>Don't hold it against him... Shinigami killed his brother.
Constantine.
I like at the end when Gabriel cheers him on for being such a good fella. I can't ever find the clip but it's at the end and she says something like "You're doing so well John!."
1st watchthrough: Nero sux
2nd '' : Nero is ok.
offtopic: what do y'all think about one piece?
It was nice, but Poirot is better.
The original manga ending is pretty cool, with Light dying a far more pathetic death in the warehouse and Mikami getting jailed then killing himself. Matsuda theorising that Near, now the new L, killed Mikami with the DN.
