That's the worst part. They didn't even need to cast these three yet because they did frick all this season but stand around and look hideous and act horribly. They could have delayed their casting to an appropriate time for next season and gotten better actresses for the job. But now that they've locked in these total failures they're obliged to keep them, because firing them would be bad publicity. Sad.

Why the frick were Ty Lee & Mai even in this season? They do nothing but praise Azula like zealots. In the original, they were introduced in the second season to display their capabilities + to show how dangerous they were in combat. All their lines in the Netflix series are dry and monotonous (i.e. they all sound the same).
