Just for context, there are tonnes of youtube videos about same weight class men and women fighters, where the woman is the top or current champion and man is almost 100 or 200 rank and it always ends with men beating the women, and they are supposed to be the same weight btw. The difference is that, anime is consistent, it shows you how someone gets their powers and how others also have that power. This show rides on her exceptionality by definition, it shoves that down your throat without actually showing it to you. We see how hard goku and vegeta train, we get their origins, etc, training is a huge part of shounen anime, in this show, training is done in 15 minutes, there is no struggle or realism to that, its just a single flashback.
