I think Im going to rewatch the whole show, the first season is certainly weaker than the next 2, season 4 is a dud and entirely skippable.
Its a lot of fun to watch each episode with an eye to when they figured out a new technique or technology.
Like when they figured out character self shadowing.
you don't realize how much programming goes into computer graphics until you start making your own custom tools. shit's a lot of fun to play around with. i bet the people making reboot had a lot of fun themselves

It's really damn cool. Shadows are made by basically jumping into the perspective of the light source and determining if it can see a given point on a model. Coding it yourself and seeing the results is immensely satisfying.
All these early 3d shows were boring apart from reboot. They are slow and nothing ever happens. I used to dread when they were the only thing on tv on sunday afternoon.
Roughnecks was awesome though. It had actual season long storylines. There's like eight of them where they go to different places and have a coherent story in each

Canada gave us Reboot season 3 which is why it had so much guns and breasts and ass including bdsm hex. Ytv had barely any censors. Season 1 and 2 weren't even allowed to have guns or 2 individual breasts on Dot.

I wish reboot got a proper season 4 and ending. Writing and animation took a huge hit but finally seeing daemon and Dot and Enzo's dad accidentally doing a genocide was great. Also Hex dying to save everyone and telling dot to get with bob already
This is how character design should be done. No normal person would complain about showing skin as long as you make both the male and female characters hot as frick.
I finally realized what Hexadecimal did to Enzo's icon this year. She gave him the power over Nulls like she had, and they set him up to restore nul's by finding the save data from the games they were nullified in.
Also rewatching it now I didn't realize Big Enzo's arc was that he had to become a killer in order to survive and so he couldn't face Bob his hero and decided to let Megabyte live. I was only 10 to be fair. I wish we got to see him and AndrAI's journeys more that was a huge time skip.
Imagine having the balls to do that to your moronic kid appeal characters lol.
The game was a steaming pile of shit that you have to either play as intended where your gliding is completely fricked up, or you take a chance with a mod that can cause random crashes but fixes the gliding to work as was probably originally intended. There's an entire playthrough of a guy, huge ReBoot fanboy, slowly losing his mind trying to finish the game.
Tony Jay was a treasure.
