Bo Selecta is basically anti-comedy. It's a lot cleverer than people give it credit for.
The whole running gag is that it's an impersonation show with no impersonations. Craig David doesn't talk like he's from Yorkshire or own a Kestrel. Michael Jackson doesn't say "Shamon motherfricker". That's why it's funny.
Either you get it, or you don't get it.

Jumping on a bandwagon because "blackface" has become a trendy thing to complain about again, and "blackface" now means white actors playing benign black characters in cartoons, as opposed to explicitly derogatory shit directed at black people as a whole.

We all know it's not the same, and no one at the time thought Lee Francis was doing "blackface" (or Seth MacFarlane playing Cleveland for that matter), but Craig David's seething can't be contained.

I used to really like British comedy. Stuff like Peep Show and The Inbetweeners. Over the years I see the weakness in the English people for letting their country get to this bad of a state, so I avoid British media all together so as not to taint myself with the same weakness that comes from their mentality.

The way /misc/ got convinced in 2014 that an independent Scotland would be some sort of based freedom loving small government white ethnostate based entirely on half-remembered Braveheart lines on will never not be hilarious to me.
