I always hated Joel's voice. It's like a pubescent-boy-with-laryngitis's attempt at doing a cartoon 'cool guy' voice, which is even more annoying than someone who does it successfully, like MatPat. Yeah, it's THAT annoying.
I loved Julie having no idea who their neighbors were for 20 years, but instantly running toward Big Fat Guy lovingly. It caught me off guard and I laughed like a fricking moron.
Everything came back. There was no explanation given for anything. It was just all back. Also, Joel is a Trans now which is funny because Matt Wilson isn't even that. He's "asexual grey type" whatever the frick that is.
It's on par with Ed Bighead Junior's reveal, but in this case it's even further away from "Joe Murray isn't trans." Because that is itself a binary. He isn't and Ed Jr is.
This is "I have one leg and rewrote my character to have three."

Man, this just kinda sucks. The humor is a hollow imitation of itself, the energy just ain't there, and the jokes about AI feel like a desperate attempt to feel relevant and timely, because nothing about Bonus Stage is relevant at all anymore.
The AI jokes were literally the only reason the series came back. Matt saw it had been 20 years since the first episode and got super mad about AI shit at the same time and just rolled them together into an episode.
