I'm just saying I wouldn't assume that's how things turn out in the cartoon because of how little it's implied to be the 'actual' future of those two in that cartoons canon. I think the episode even ends with a line by Xavier saying "we'll never know". Always seemed like it was treated as an altworld continuity in the show.

It was a reference to the comics since they can't cover every story in full

while there's always been sexual tension between the two characters dating all the way back to the 70s, it wasn't until the animated series two parter One Man's Worth that they were officially recognized as a couple. Ever since then Marvel has flirted with the idea of making it canon in the main continuity until Wolverine and the X-Men #24 where they finally did it. it didn't last, though, because nothing in modern comics ever does.

It would be the same thing, more or less. The cartoon was based on the revamped comic which only got that revamp a year prior, with some stories brought in from the 80s but with the newer characters
It's unfortunate meme's about the show and the actual show vary considerably.
In the actual show there are only 4 small moments out of 76 episodes where wolverine opines after jean but you'd think it was some major plotline if you never watched the show. Similar thing with Rogues ass, sometimes she's drawn sexy as frick, other times flat and skinny but if you never watched the show you'd thing she was stacked 100% of the time.
It's easy for a stealth coomer to conceal their motives by hanging onto a normal photo. But of course in currentyear clown world they made it more kinky
It's going to be your typical Disney slop with lots of hamfisted political crap, token characters, gay stuff, etc. Is anyone unironically looking forward to this?
I remember watching it on fox kids in Ireland back in the early noughties, could have sworn it was on some other channel afterwards. Fox kids was based but we only had it for like 2 years before it was dropped. What about the Iron Man show? Was that not just as big?
No. Only X-men and Spider-Man shows were popular. They lasted for 5 season while all the other Marvel heroes had shows last for a season or 2 before being canceled.
Spider-Man and X-Men were the only Marvel shows that made it to the Saturday morning lineup. the other shows like Fantastic Four, Iron Man, and Incredible Hulk were cheaply made and had terrible scripts. Spider-Man TAS and X-MEN TAS had the good fortune of being run by actual fans of the comics who wanted to adapt the very best stories for the show.
>drawing style looks like something from adult swing that I can't remember.
Archer
Or more accurately, Frisky Dingo, which was made by the same people as Archer.
Really a 3d cartoon, like What if.
I would never have imagined that Disney would make Marvel cartoonsin this 3D style, and it's horrible, lifeless, soulless and the women look like men.
It was way before the original cartoon as well. The first series was animated by Koreans. It's the writing in American animation that has recently gone to shit. That didn't start until 2015 or so.
Frick off homosexual, I used to watch the original show back in the day and I don't give a frick about that nostalgia shit, the show was popular because it was good not because I was kid
And I doubt that the nostalgia or "going back in time" aspect the marketing suggest will have any impact considering it's likely the show has modern day sensibilities in it
Early 30s guy here. As long as they're not over 25 and still cosplaying and making it the core of they're identity. The Marvel nerds are fine. X-Men was the more interesting of the capeshit. The people my age that are the most pathetic are the ones that obsess over sports, still wear jerseys and spend a ton of money on tickets. After you graduate college, you should only support your local team and not be a Wal-Mart t-shirt fan. Unless you're gambling or it's the postseason. Then it is acceptable to spend time on random games. Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm about to drop a couple hundred on every 1st round NCAA tournament game and hope random shitters I don't care about can cover the spread.
Everything in this series sounds GAY, Magneto and Xavier, they're insinuating that they're a gay couple lol, only a gay writer and showrunner would write that, now imagine Kevin Feige approving all that
Magneto, Xavier and other male characters are wearing bright lipstick, they have a gay mannerism, the way they look, the way they talk, the way they walk, and on the women they've taken away their curves, making their female faces have masculine features, the person who did the character design knew exactly what she was doing making them look like trannies, this is the problem with putting radical gay activists in charge of a show, they put all their fingerprints in a way that they're clearly pushing their message, I felt very bad watching these two episodes, they've really destroyed Marvel in a way that's impossible to recover from, they're not seeing that anything they're doing is going to sell anymore, Thanks to God, america is still very conservative
Its the 90s stereo type now. The dream vision of the 80s in the 2010s has been worn out, with all the fake cyberpunky and neon stuff, now its the dream vision of the 90s. Bright colors and baggy clothes and crop tops.
animation sucked in between fight scenes but the fight scenes were pretty solid. this is marvel animation why didn't they just go the same route as what if?
Things I found interesting and different but take it with a grain of salt since I haven't watched the cartoons since they aired.
>Cyclops using his blasts to move >Storm being recognized as an omega level threat >Villains dialogue kinda sound good. Their argument that they fear being left behind sounds interesting instead of just we hate dee mutants >mag and rogue having a thing
Cyclops using his beams as propulsion and to help him land in the desert was some good shit. I want to see more thoughtful use of the mutant abilities going forward now.
Just watched the two episodes and I thought it was pretty good. I don't remember Rogue hooking up with Magneto in the original so that took me by surprise but I had heard this was a thing in the comics so I guess not too surprising. The only thing that I found that sucked was the Sentinel and Master Mold voices which were pretty iconic so all in all not fricking bad.
Looking at the end credits, they were done by Beast's voice actor it seems. Going to go check if it was that way in the original because I never really thought about it.
>First episode >Cyclops was written perfectly and had couple great moments >Every character has own character arc >Action is good >Visuals are easy to get used to after few minutes
Overall pretty fricking good episode
I hope they wont frick it up in the following ones
Yeah, hope the series maintains its quality for the rest of Season 1. Season 2 looking grim though with the firing of the creator DeMayo for having an OnlyFans.
He was writing season 3, so season 2 is probably finished being written and in the process of being animated, so we can probably expect 2 seasons of his writing.
I assume they didn't want an Invincible situation and moved production along quickly lol.
Yeah, hope the series maintains its quality for the rest of Season 1. Season 2 looking grim though with the firing of the creator DeMayo for having an OnlyFans.

No one said this. There are shills and shitposters, and then there are people rightfully pointing out that it's slop, such as yourself.
I liked it overall. My only real complaint is that a lot of the voices felt off, particularly Wolverine and Rogue. I also thought it was funny when they were doing the end credits sequence with them rotating each X-Men and detailing their powers, they only left out a few, including Rogue.
I'm surprised there are no posts about him looking like a troony in that outfit with his long hair. The voice actor was great though. I loved the scene in the atmosphere.
She wouldn't. Rogue's had all sorts of handsome boys and men after her and she can't find love with anyone. Paring her with an old man is bad enough, but pairing her with anyone at all misses the point of her character

>entire series in order upscaled to 1080p
God I love the archive.
>upscaled to 1080p
would prefer a real remaster from the original film. if saban didn't trash it
Reject modernity.
Embrace tradition.
isn't this the anime?
It's from the Japanese intro of the cartoon.
Do you even like the X-men?
What would X-Men '92 be like?
First Class basically.
The X-Men have to save a certain individual in a certain Detroit alley in a certain season
KWABneto, master of gaynetism
That was the Holden Claremont era
Golden I mean
It would be the same thing, more or less. The cartoon was based on the revamped comic which only got that revamp a year prior, with some stories brought in from the 80s but with the newer characters
I never actually saw what was in the photo originally, just the edits. Was it really Cyclops in there too? Damn, Wolverine...
No. I'd rather go for something different.
It's going to be your typical Disney slop with lots of hamfisted political crap, token characters, gay stuff, etc. Is anyone unironically looking forward to this?
No. It's just some leftard trying to get negative attention
Rogue my beloved
You know remember the sewer mutants and the Gambit episodes with the assassins and the teevs.
A lot of X-Men fans are super gay or trans, that's why they like the X-Men because they're so inclusive. You're all going to hate this
It's gonna end in a big sharing cycle of "be better" because that' all libtards know what to write.
>be better
lmfao the Falcon show ending is literally just Anthony Mackie saying that verbatim
it's so over
Bechdel Test: Confirmed
I don't even want to click that. The thumbnail is pain enough
drawing style looks like something from adult swing that I can't remember. or maybe what this anon says
>It's not animation. It's 3D cell shaded to LOOK animated.
>drawing style looks like something from adult swing that I can't remember.
Archer
Or more accurately, Frisky Dingo, which was made by the same people as Archer.
But I didn't see any of those two, I think I saw two episodes of Bird Girl, Bird Woman?
Really a 3d cartoon, like What if.
I would never have imagined that Disney would make Marvel cartoonsin this 3D style, and it's horrible, lifeless, soulless and the women look like men.
I don't like how their mouths move
The animation fricking sucks.
Looks like Archer
>Hello there fellow boomers!
Shill thread animation sucks, also woke garbage
>1997 was 40 years ago
Looks so cheap.
If you want an action show, leave it to the japanese. The west lost the ability to make good action shows a long time ago.
It was way before the original cartoon as well. The first series was animated by Koreans. It's the writing in American animation that has recently gone to shit. That didn't start until 2015 or so.
I despise the marketing for this show
>le nostalgia amirite
Frick off homosexual, I used to watch the original show back in the day and I don't give a frick about that nostalgia shit, the show was popular because it was good not because I was kid
And I doubt that the nostalgia or "going back in time" aspect the marketing suggest will have any impact considering it's likely the show has modern day sensibilities in it
>magnus
average xmen fan is a blue hair troony
Is it true that Morph is going to give Wolverine head?
41 here time has come but I'm expecting a cluster frick
I have no expectations that they will do the series justice.
43 year old boomer here. Never gave a shit about xmen or comics, and i find the whole infatuation with them these days pathetic.
Hope this helps.
It's out!
Torrent where
give it 10 minutes then check eztvx to / tgx up on privates rn
nvm up on tgx rn
Maybe I got a keen sense of hearing but the voice changes are really noticeable.
At least the dude voicing Wolverine hasn’t missed a beat
so anybody else gonna mention how weirdly asian they made jubilee look? they made her skin simpsons yellow and those eyes lol
or why the frick is gambit cooking in the kitchen wearing a cropped tank top?
>why the frick is gambit cooking in the kitchen wearing a cropped tank top?
Common 80s punk attire.
Everything in this series sounds GAY, Magneto and Xavier, they're insinuating that they're a gay couple lol, only a gay writer and showrunner would write that, now imagine Kevin Feige approving all that
>insinuating that they're a gay couple
How so?
People who are calling this adaptation gay and "woke" never watched the original, that's for sure.
Never have, and never will. Such is life in the times of the culture war.
>Usual leftist revisionism
>woke with ""
Just stop being woke already, nobody lkes it either way
The old show wasn't woke because such a conception as woke didn't exist back then you moronic gay.
>The old show wasn't woke because
because Disney wasn't there ruining everything
So is the old show woke now?
No
But Magneto has been bisexual since the mid 80s?
never was newbie
thats how boomers dressed. I've seen pictures
Its the 90s stereo type now. The dream vision of the 80s in the 2010s has been worn out, with all the fake cyberpunky and neon stuff, now its the dream vision of the 90s. Bright colors and baggy clothes and crop tops.
Gay showrunner can't make a straight character look straight lol
Dudes in shape used to dress like that back then. Gambit is a Chad and likes showing off.
It's a straight guy designed by gays and women.
Same as Rogue
Jubilee was always Asian, but by today's crooked standards she wasn't Asian enough, so they turned her into an Asian stereotype
honestly, I don't read comics so I didn't know Jubilee was supposed to be Asian until the Bryan Singer movies.
>Why did they make the Chinese girl look Chinese?
they also made storm a darker black lmao
jubilee has jackie chan's nose now
look how brown she used to be
b***h went from Whitney Houston to Grace Jones
its not on any streaming sites yet....frick
one of you gays with disney stream it
What kind of man watches cartoons????
I watched both episodes and the animation fricking sucks, at least they gave post birth Madelyne Prior a nice ass but no crack visible
animation sucked in between fight scenes but the fight scenes were pretty solid. this is marvel animation why didn't they just go the same route as what if?
Ahh yes just what the world asked for, more mediocre superhero bullshit
capicoli is going to most likely stream this on his website for free soon
Things I found interesting and different but take it with a grain of salt since I haven't watched the cartoons since they aired.
>Cyclops using his blasts to move
>Storm being recognized as an omega level threat
>Villains dialogue kinda sound good. Their argument that they fear being left behind sounds interesting instead of just we hate dee mutants
>mag and rogue having a thing
Cyclops using his beams as propulsion and to help him land in the desert was some good shit. I want to see more thoughtful use of the mutant abilities going forward now.
Its basically them updating it with stuff thats happened since then
Just watched the two episodes and I thought it was pretty good.
Did Morph and Wolverine hook up?
They shared a brewski and some chips and Morphed fricked around as Sabertooth for a bit.
Why is the dialogue so veganal?
Was the show written by females?
Where's all the cool concise masculinity?
>Was the show written by females?
Females and male feminists
>First episode
>Cyclops was written perfectly and had couple great moments
>Every character has own character arc
>Action is good
>Visuals are easy to get used to after few minutes
Overall pretty fricking good episode
I hope they wont frick it up in the following ones
Yeah, hope the series maintains its quality for the rest of Season 1. Season 2 looking grim though with the firing of the creator DeMayo for having an OnlyFans.
He was writing season 3, so season 2 is probably finished being written and in the process of being animated, so we can probably expect 2 seasons of his writing.
I assume they didn't want an Invincible situation and moved production along quickly lol.
They should hire david hayter
samegay
I turned it off the moment I heard Jubilee refer to Magneto as Xavier "ex-bestie". Please stop hiring gay men and women to write actions shows for boys.
>dumb kid talks like a dumb kid
you'd have a point if it was literally any character other than Jubilee saying that
You were turned off by a teen 90's girl talking like a teen 90's girl?
The phrase bestie wasn't a thing in the 90s. That's a modern day word used by gays not teen girls.
pretty sure this samegayging idiot's claim can be disproven by a single screenshot. Some other anon do it
Cope moron
So did I. No one ever said it
No one ever said it. Simple as
>The phrase bestie wasn't a thing in the 90s.
you wienersucker supreme, yes it was. I was there. I lived the 90s.
No it wasn't troony, but nice try. Btw kys homosexual.
I'll do it.
90s girls never said "bestie". That was a uniquely 2010s term.
Outside of that one character being an obvious metaphor for troonyism it was alright.
I marked out hard when the theme song hit in the end battle.
This b***h would actually be perfect for a live action Rogue, both classic and evolution-wise in terms of looks.
>This b***h would actually be perfect for a live action Rogue, both classic and evolution-wise in terms of looks.
>This b***h would actually be perfect for a live action Rogue,
you should be executed
You too
Angry because I'm right. Cast the b***h right now.
you seem upset
>Rogue
That's a Jubilee if I've ever seen one
Jubes is asian
And Rogue a natural redhair
The new Cyclops voice actor does a pretty good impression of the old one.
Why is Gambit dressed in such a homosexual manner?
He's french.
Cyclops chad level has been increased from the 90s cartoon version
it was about time
>yay my woke progressive show made by mentally insane woke freaks who are nepobabies and diversity hires came out today! I can't wait to be angry about it and cry!!!
Just another day on Cinemaphile
>I can't wait to be angry about it and cry!!!
No one said this. There are shills and shitposters, and then there are people rightfully pointing out that it's slop, such as yourself.
Well, I shouldn't have googled the baby's name, massive spoiler right there.
But if Nathan Summers is (spoiler), how many (spoiler) are there?
spoiler
I liked it overall. My only real complaint is that a lot of the voices felt off, particularly Wolverine and Rogue. I also thought it was funny when they were doing the end credits sequence with them rotating each X-Men and detailing their powers, they only left out a few, including Rogue.
> They used Morph's preferred pronouns
Literally crying right now.
I dont like Magnetos new outfit
that's our new bisexual gilf daddy
I'm surprised there are no posts about him looking like a troony in that outfit with his long hair. The voice actor was great though. I loved the scene in the atmosphere.
KEK
Gambit did 9/11 confirmed.
It was great. I can see 3 different storylines this season already. Mr. Sinister being back will be so good.
Gambit bros...
How does she fall for an old kook like him?
He is the alphaest man there, even more than Logan. Of course b***hes will come to him.
she can touch him. apparently their powers cancel each other out.
Mutant angst + Daddy issues.
Poor girl never stood a chance.
She wouldn't. Rogue's had all sorts of handsome boys and men after her and she can't find love with anyone. Paring her with an old man is bad enough, but pairing her with anyone at all misses the point of her character
I can fix her.
She's a dumb hick that fricks whoever she can touch.
>whoever she can touch
rogue confirmed to be a nun
Sounds like your mom
Scott Bros, are we finally back after years of being done dirty?
The Wolverine in it was nice: "We are the X-Men, you silly!"
it's over
