Gladiator Days is kino.
grizzly man
seen it, liked it. i've watched a few other herzog docs and tbh the voice over is kinda distracting, i feel like he does it too much
definitely will check it out, thank you
watch Gesualdo: Death for Five Voices. it's Herzog without Herzog.

this is already on the list. only gonzo doc i've seen is killing of america which i liked
i'll give this another shot, I was put off by the length but then again I just bought ken burns vietnam
africa addio
The Great War. The whole series is raw, but some parts are downright horrific like the war in east prussia.
Lessons of Darkness and Adam Curtis's Century of the Self
Blackfish
Girl In The Picture is a new netflix crime documentary, not that well done but still very depressing
When Blackfish kept dragging trainer boy to the bottom of the pool just shits and Orca giggles? Now that's horror.
Koyaanisqatsi
What is a Woman?
Conspiracy of Silence
Who Took Johnny
Waco : Rules of Engagement
I watched Some Kind of Heaven the other day. It’s on Hulu. Like all Aronofsky films I was emotionally drained afterwards. It’s bittersweet.
In the Realms of the Unreal
Thanks, heard about that one but forgot about it. Watching it now.
Echoes from a Sombre Empire (also Herzog)
By far the most shocking documentary I've ever seen. Changed the entire way I look at the world.
Princes of the Yen
Addio Africa
Ken Burns Civil War
Shocking stuff
the staircase is a short documentary series that is fricking fantastic
Drugs: A River of No Return
Orozco the Embalmer
>Orozco
absolute kino, never have I seen such a drawn out, mondo, grim display that culminates so strongly at the end, it's so quiet and all the words you pick up are seared onto your brain because you're just bug eyed at the visuals, with that cold death feeling not just clinging to the bodies themselves, but the way you see the entire world of these people living in this cruel place with very little escape, the whole thing is pretty special for something that would seem so exploitative or sensational at first but it's so emotional across the whole thing
The Greatest Story Never Told
A Noble Lie
Athlete A
At the Heart of Gold
The Red Pill
The Act of Killing
Was gonna post this, the follow up "the look of silence" as well.
Ken Burns’ Civil War is a long one but it will teach you more than the public education system (or private for that matter) ever did about the subject.
I think we're alone now.
Sad/funny.
Definitely worth a watch
Contains definite proof that Italians are in fact not white
Zoo
Dear Zachary
I read the story of the guy who found the Death Valley Germans bones a bit back. Pretty morbid shit.
Spectres of the Spectrum (1999)
The World According to Monsanto (2008)
Dearest Executioners (1977)
I read a synopsis of what this documentary is about and now I want to watch it. But where can I watch it? I mean what the frick kind of search result is this?
Empire Of Dust
It’s free on YouTube but some copyright shit won’t let me get a link to post unless I’m logged in.
Titticut Follies (1967)
The Mole Agent
Some MTV True Life episodes are surprisingly raw.
Up the Yangtze
