Is that an unbelievable story? Tourists traveling alone do crazy things but it was different because we kept chatting online for a month before the flame died

It's not unbelievable. Only poor ugly turboautists don't have that one girl they met at the beach on vacation

nta, but the same thing basically happened to me, except that instead of us seeing each other one night we saw each other for a couple months, then got married a few years later, and now have a couple kids.

Was I supposed to get the impression that they were a perfect match? They both seemed like obnoxious, emotionally immature dimwits. They were always going to break up. At every movie they make it very clear they have irresolvable differences and are just choosing to ignore them, because they both just love the idea of falling in love. Frick them.

You rationalizing this movie means you're just a virgin and have never really fallen in love, you're trying to seem mature and like you understand these things, but you don't, nice try tho

Leave your basement first and kiss a girl bro

Imagine going through all the effort and expense to travel to Europe again only to be stood up. Then, imagine accepting the prostitute’s halfhearted “apology” because “MUH GRANDMA DIED”.

    What a pussywhipped simp frick.

    >The plot is considered minimalistic, consisting mostly of monologues and casual conversation with extended dialogue as the characters navigate Vienna. Their contrasting ideas and perspectives on life and love are detailed, with Jesse a romantic disguised as a cynic, and Céline seemingly a romantic. Before Sunrise also explores time, death, and self-discovery.

Fricking hard pass, My Dinner with Andre was enough boomer self-indulgence for one lifetime.

I love how Linklater intentionally left the endings of all 3 movies open to interpretation on if their relationship would continue to separate cynics and romantics. Pure kino.
