The appearance of the site itself has stuck with Zeybel.
>“I was surprised, still am surprised, (about) the lack of evidence of a plane hitting the earth,” he said. “In the way of debris fields and all that, the earth absorbed that pretty well, almost sucked it up.”
Fury Road was apparently a really tough shoot, and George Miller is getting old. So, judging by the CGI in the trailer, he isn't above slapping some pajeet poo on screen and calling it a day.
>for fraction of the cost
miniatures are more expensive than CGI
this is a 30 second shot in a 90 minute movie
MoTA is a 9 hour miniseries thats mostly CGI
die hard's budget is 200 million adjusted for inflation
I think that's part of the problem. Instead of saving the effects (CGI or practical) to only few select shots and making them look spectacular, productions now just shoot only barebones elements for real, and lather CGI on everything in post.
Masters of Air didn't need to be 9 hours of shitty CGI. Band of Brothers wasn't.
bad cgi is almost always just lack of good directing in composition, color grading, lighting, storyboarding, etc. These new movies make a spectacle out of the cgi instead of using cgi for the spectacle, that's how you get scenes that look like history channel recreations like the car crash one that's going around. Rush had mediocre cgi that looked decent because they understood not showing everything makes it better.
that's why they couldnt make it to scale
they need another 250
Bravo Nolan
reminds me of this
where did it go?
Back to the negative zone.
To the same place as the plane that hit the Pentagon on 9/11.
or united 93

Sirs!
Memphis Belle stays winning
how come quake3 looks better than this pajeet bullshit
Its so bad it looks like both a model and CGI at the same time somehow
film budgets are the biggest load of horseshit ever
none of those things cost more than 10 million to make
its all money laundering
I remember when they made much better looking plane crashes with practical effects for fraction of the cost over three decades ago:

you are 50 million off the mark
plus this show has no famous people in it so no money to salary
I'm guessing Spielberg and Hanks pocketed most of the money as producers.

N-NO?! Stop using facts! Facts are woke!
