I watched The Wire, The Sopranos, Deadwood, Game of Thrones, Breaking Bad, Mad Men, Twin Peaks, The X-Files, etc. Nothing compares to this masterpiece. I don't care if it's made for teenage girls. The best show ever created.

Buffy's arc was kino and the introduction of Dawn was mindblowing at the time. I thought I got drunk and was blacked out during any scene Dawn was mentioned. Buffy's relationship with Angel was tragic. She had to kill him to save the world. When he came back, they both knew they couldn't be together. Later, she uses Spike because she feels bad about her past. The romance Buffy had with Angel is exasperated during his solo show where he became human and could live with her. He had to reset the timeline and only he could remember the beautiful day they spent together in the sun. Makes me tear up thinking about it. Such an incredible show.

I meant exacerbated. Sure, Tara and Anya's death were pointless. However, Spike risking permanent damnation just to have a chance of winning Buffy's affection had an insurmountable affect on viewers perception. That was true love. Spike > Angel
