CG is just one of possible ways.
Of course since they are using CG there will be more very hard to animate traditionally shots, but that's only because of already chosen way of doing things.
If focus was on traditional animation, which hardly ever will happen, then it'd have other type of shots.

feels the designs are trying too hard to sell what "archetypes" they are
like you see them and know exactly what kind of character they'll have which makes them boring
