BURN NOTICE

I don't really have anything other to say about this show than that it's pure kino. Great acting, amazing combination of actors, strong characters, strong chemistry. Very interesting setting, and the narration and general story structure is very snappy, witty, and fun to watch. If you enjoyed House M.D. at all - this is essentially the same kind of "procedural" show where every episode is the similar set up of "problem, investigation, trouble, solution" with a little bit of the overarching plot - being - the "Burn Notice," brought up each episode for maybe 5-10 minutes. Every episode is like a mini Mission: Impossible styled heist or con. Little to no "dumb action" where car chases or shootings just happen to happen. Very cerebral. Tension dripping romance, if you're into that sort of thing.

I only just started watching it myself because it was randomly recommended in some thread on here. Gave it a chance, the pilot was awesome, now I'm on... episode 8. "Wanted Man." Not shilling, frick you gays. I just wanted to share a good show for anybody who is bored and needs something good to watch. Crack a beer, smoke a bowl, sit back, and watch some snappy domestic espionage.

I will not be responding to inane questions or comments as I am currently watching this as I type. Take it or leave it. That is all.

It's a good show. Last season is kind of weak though.

      Rhythm of the A-Team.
      Plot, also largely the A-Team.

Compared to the final seasons we've received since, its the bloody Godfather.

Yeah, it took itself way too melodramic.

I'm 24 and if liking this show means I'm in a state of arrested development, then good, I clearly still have a soul then.

I hated the overarching plot, where more and more ridiculously powerful shadow agents kept fricking with him for no reason
Either keep him burned or not
      also skellington woman

There was some extra playing a waitress in a bar in the episode where Jan, the Czech assassin, is stalking Michael, and she was thick as frick. Negress mating hips and delicious tummy. Couldn't stop thinking about knocking her up the whole episode. God I need to coom...

The overarching story is really fricking disappointing, there's never really a final big bad and the "organization" is never explained that well. The fact that he just hunts them all down offscreen was a colossal missed opportunity

Are there any other Procedurals that mix it up in interesting ways? This and Psych are the only two that spring to mind, not that i've watched many.

Maybe Monk. The original CSI or whatever it's called with that "tick tick boom, timebomb" gif are also decent. I've only ever really watched (in the sense of sitting down for episode after episode in one sitting) House M.D. and now I'm watching this. I can't really see how else you could make a procedural show unless it involved crime or medical mysteries. Wish there was a show where a baker had increasingly difficult and more complex orders to fill for rich patrons as they try to come to grips with an addiction or a crippling disbelief in religion or something.

I think you're mixing up CSI with NCIS and mixing up the goth girl in NCIS with the tick tick boom girl who's from a different show called lost girl

every time I put this on I have to watch it to the end of first season and then always drop it shortly afterward

I remember enjoying it to season 5 or something but I can't get myself through the same arc over and over again anymore

He has a big part in almost every episode. Great stuff. There's also a movie set in the same universe.

worth watching, he's one of the 3 main cast members and his character Sam is classic Campbell, pretty sure the part was written specifically for him
