I was reading some conversations about this recently and apparently beauty standards don't exist for men because 1 in 100000 women will date short/ugly/etc guys so that means they should have no trouble finding someone. Also they said that men only care because it means they can't get laid but when women complain about beauty standards it's different because reasons.
It's true that mens beauty standards are different because looks aren't as important to them when it comes to finding a partner. Men absolutely do have beauty standards though, there's just many different archetypes that women can find attractive so it's hard to pin down the standard. Oh don't get me wrong, I'm not defending this shit show or her casting, in fact I haven't seen past first 3 episodes and just fast forwarded the rest of season 1, it's all really, really bad and apparently got only worse in later seasons.

Dead bug eyes, mid nose, manlike Black personlips on a pajeeta, long face, no femininity to her at all, and she always carries her face with this husk-empty drugged out expression. The only thing she has going for her is her skin LOOKS alright (but how do you know it actually is? anyone's skin can look good with enough professional makeup) and she isn't fat.
Just not being fat and having an alright body makes her above average with today's demographics, but just her face alone is awful. I am shocked that people call her pretty. Every single (young and non-obese) woman who works at every grocery in my town is prettier than her.
