Heat 2: Meet The Heat
My favourite movie of all time anon, glad you liked.
Try this, it looks like a wanky "video essau" but it's really not, it's quite an interesting take on the psychology of the two main characters that you might be interested in:
>Try this, it looks like a wanky "video essau" but it's really not,
That's exactly what it is, though. Comments are just even more embarassing than usual.
You are mistaking wanky video essay to video essay. It's the wanky part I am talking about. Morgoth makes essays but they aren't wanky.
In what sense is this not a video essay?
this whole storyline was moronic
anything outside of the robbery was moronic
>getting filtered by the post heist scenes
Dunno why I see anti heat posting these days but you better be getting paid for this effort. Heat is kino.
>storyline which lays out the whole essence of Pacino's character (which is vital to the theme of him and De Niro's character being two sides of the same coin) is moronic
Brainlet take
They don't make them now like they used to
Also love how the bottom section of the poster is like three random scenes cobbled up together, although I don't remember an explosion ever occurring in the movie
>like they used to
Frick, this still is current to me. I'm eternally stuck in pre 2010's
>I don't remember an explosion ever occurring in the movie.
They blew the doors off the armoured truck and also there was a smaller explosion in the getaway ambulance after dumping it.
Overrated as frick and Thief is better.
Also it's not the Saint Vincent Thomas Bridge. It's just the Vincent Thomas Bridge. Vincent Thomas wasnt a Saint, he was a democrat politician born to slav immigrants that got the bridge built
>Overrated as frick and Thief is better.
Next level contrarianism. Thief is a good film, but it's not better than a great film such as Heat. Heat is more than a heavy stylized neo-noir, it's a genuine character study and a deeply contemplative film. And that's what makes it, not the genuinely impressive action setpieces.
The shootout actually sucks because you cant tell who's shooting at who or where each character is.
Kind of like an actual shootout.
The sounds were done perfectly.
>The sounds were done perfectly.
Pretty sure I heard at the time that they just used the actual sounds from filming and didn't do it over in the studio.
Are you a moron or something?
moron
It's called "cover fire" moron
Too long and deniro fricking sucks.
moronic af
Your mother's a prostitute
So, the bad guy wins?
At least half an hour too long. Everything after the heist felt pointless.
I can't remember anything other than the actual heists and it's a 3 fricking hour movie
Way too long, the character are all really simple, there's nothing really memorable in the entire movie. That one black dude appears in like 3 scenes then dies, that character was completely unnecessary. Deniro abandoning that one girl has no impact because their relationship is poorly constructed. They just met, I don't care that he left her!
The getaway driver was to show 2 sides of the same coin, on one hand you have michael, he has real estate and so on, doesn't need to do it for the money, and then the getaway driver working a less than favourable job with a very rude boss, does it for the money, they both end up dying.
Heat's plot is just put together like a fricking mess
I like the idea, but again, it falls flat since he barely appears in the movie. I feel like that character had more potential, but the viewer ends up feeling nothing for his death because he's an extremely minor character, and in my case I felt nothing for Deniro's character either since he's literally just a criminal.
Top 5 movies of all time for me,
>Heat
>No Country for old men
>The Shining
>The Thing
can't think of my 5th, but its probably something I haven't seen yet
Watch The Wild Bunch.
this is my fav film of all time. I'm glad people enjoy it!!
>we’re going to Le kill you because we’re dishonourable and you killed Le heckin security guard
What is this gay Reddit writing?
Totally unrealistic.
In reality the thieves would just finish the job and stop working together if they felt he was unreliable .
They wouldn’t risk their lives trying to commit a murder against a dangerous criminal in public after the job was completed for the sake of a couple of dead security guards they didn’t know
why did ~~*mann*~~ remove the 2 lines of dialogue and add the modern blackish filter to the later dvd/4k releases?
BEST ROBBARS
