6 ft is fine but when you get into 6'5 territory it's diminishing returns. Still, it's better to be tall as a man than tall as a woman. That's when it truly gets fricked.

A director simply wouldn't allow it, because they're too hard to keep in frame. For menlet, you just have them stand on a platform, high heels; but for a giant, you have to have everyone ELSE stand on plats. Logistical nightmare. Plus, as they fall too outside the bell curve, the likelihood of finding one who's a good actor is slim. Only one that comes to mine is the guy that played Prince Phillip in The Queen (2006).

It's harder to frame movies around one exceptionally tall actor. You would have to cast only tall people which would limit the range of actually useful actors or do tricks like how they make shorter actors taller. It is far easier to cast a shorter actor and give him lifts than to make everything match a very tall actor.
