There is literally a talent problem in the japanese industry going on now where there aren't enough workers to handle the demand. If they went japanese you'd probably be getting even worse animation because Japanese studio outsource their shit as well (to korea).

Given how inconsistent the 90s animation was, we all best remember the highest quality intro because it had to look good etc, I'm not too chuffed about the art not looking right, but I do know revivals never work, this is not going to feel like it dropped from 1997
