I didn't bother finishing the last season. How is chaos theory looking so far?
Mostly happy with the new material but personally Darius getting le feels for Brooklynn felt very tacked on for drama's sake. They even mostly pussy out by having Darius say "gee, I guess I must not have loved her THAT much"
Otherwise they're doing about as good with the concept of updating the cast's personalities
Better. Much better. It's less "present" but there's still more relationship drama than I'd like (above spoilers very much related) but I couldn't expect us to be rid of it entirely
You could honestly go into CT without finishing all of the last season of CC, all you'd really need to know is assuming you saw enough to get to Yaz/Sammy happening, Kenji's dad lives but is sent to jail, and Kenji spends the next few years living with Darius' family
That's all I can really think of that's relevant
They pussy out further by Darius saying he only caught feelings for her after Kenji broke up with her, so they couldn't even fully commit to the drama they wanted to create. Darius' schizo voice mails could have still worked fine even as just a friend.
I want to watch it 'cause I watched all other seasons but i don't have netflix now 🙁

What bothering me is who could reasonably be behind it all? Who can they pull out of their ass that would have the means and motive for all of the shit they've been pulling? The Mantah Island plot was really fricking bad but at least they were set up early in S1 of CC. Now? It just doesn't really add up
Also I feel like this is a situation where pegging themselves to the World movies' timeline is a problem. It's one thing for small timer crooks and the like to be selling off stiggies to a tourist trap, but by this stage Biosyn should have their monopoly on collecting dinosaurs en masse. Forgot to add to my point on timeline: I'm pretty sure this show is supposed to be happening within like, a year or less of Dominion, hence the question of someone taking a drink from Biosyn's dinosaur milkshake

lol, I remember for the final Jurassic World movie they actually had the gall to advertise the pack of Atrociraptors with posters and names, as though they would be a major counterpart to Blue only for them to get limited screen time, no development, and their names are never actually mentioned in the movie.
I really liked it. The nubular 6 minus 1 sneaking around was pretty cool. A shocking amount of death happened actually. Muh Darius/Brooklynn kinda happened. The tension with Kenji was pretty compelling. I was a bit miffed about 3 and 4 but this was great. Whistle woman was actually kinda cute too.

Because it was only released in my country on the 22nd, but all the download links I think are from when the series was added to Disney+ in the US, so it doesn't have subtitles in my language.
I feel like the conspiracy story line wasn't that interesting. I really enjoyed more of the interpersonal stuff. I think a low stakes road trip/ reunion story set in a world where dinosaurs now roam and are just a normal thing would be cool.
So this has to be intentional. When the guy is trying to tranquilize Sammy and Yas he literally aims for her ass.
