This show resonated with me because it looked like the kind of dream I would have based on faded memories of Dr. Seuss books, Schoolhouse Rock, Super Mario Bros 2 and some other things that I can't even remember anymore. It really was a rich and unique world. The best was the early episodes, which were based around Chowder exploring and interacting with such a nonsensical and whimsical place.
When I was younger I thought the pink rabbit crush on Chowder was cute as hell though if a bit extreme for the sake of humor. Nowadays it really hard to ignore how much of a fricking creep she was. Maybe I just had one too many crazy girlfriend experiences that I can see the horrors of such a person in your life. Also was the pink hair goat a boy or a girl? I honestly can't remember for the life of me.
Boy, he had a crush on Panini and got cucked out of existence in the finale though it's also likely he got with Marmalade. Maybe they both could've gotten more development if the show didn't get canned.
In my defense the episodes I remember him in he kinda acted like a middle man. My favorite character though was the one with the candle on his head. He was annoying at times but in a way where it would make sense for a kid to be so.
It's been forever since I watched the show but I think the answer is yes, but they didn't ever really address it properly.
No he wasn’t gay he was just a loner kid who didn’t want to be replaced by his only friend
Carl confirmed on his blog yes, Dade was a homo
God it is amazing how many times i've had to run to this man's abandoned blogs for conformation on shit because the networks keep cucking him out of actually putting it in his shows
Panini's creep factor really depended on the episode and what the writers felt like that day. Some episodes she was an insane nutjob who wanted nothing else other than Chowder's hand in marriage, in others she keeps to herself and will genuinely help Chowder out when he needs it.
Probably the best episode with the 2 of them is Apprentice Appreciation Day when she genuinely shows care and concern for the boy she fawns over

The creator confirmed him and Marmalade did get hitched (But he can't fricking let go, he's a forever-simp)

Yeah, there was plans for exactly that. Cancelled TV movie where the two were gonna kiss and a pirate captain voiced by Matthew McConaughey
Supposedly, the storyboards for the entire episode were made, but who has them i have no clue. They're considered "Lost Media"
I think Chowder has a better chance because of 2 reasons
1. Lil Nas X basically made Chowder super popular with zoomers after Panini was released (Seriously have you seen TikTok? They fricking LOVE Chowder)
2. They cancelled B&M for being a "hateful fart cartoon". Carl Greenblatt said Chowder was cancelled for being a "baby show"
>A while back we were working on a one-hour Chowder special. I was a little worried we wouldn't be able to pull off a movie on a tight tv schedule, and I was right. So we shelved it. Maybe with a little more time it could have gotten it there.
>The basic story is about Chowder finding an enchanted map that leads to Pie Land, and more importantly to Gravy Jones' lost treasure: the ultimate gravy recipe. Panini and Endive have the other half of the map, and of course only true love can unite the two halves of the map to show the location of the treasure. There was even a big kiss between the two kids in the action-packed finale.
>This character was the leader of a group of beach bum rats, the Pie Rats (we love bad puns on this show). He was based off Matthew McConaughey. We were even hoping to get him to to do the voice. Picanahey wants the gravy recipe for himself since he's heard it has amazing tanning properties - his goal in life is to have the best tan in the world. Picanha is a type of Brazilian bbq.
That is about as much as we know. He hasn't revealed much else about it. The only extra bit of info we ever got was him saying the whole thing was storyboarded, start to finish, but he just wasn't satisfied with the results. They either were shoved off in some CN archives or burned, the only people who know about the full contents are the showrunners themselves
>Being obsessive is a bit creepy isn't it?
Oh hey. I see your WISDOM stat just jumped up a few points. Good on you for realizing deeper implications of these character traits.

I haven't drawn anything lately because I'm chewing through my Steam Backlog and posting 5-minute doodles on Discord.

No he wasn’t gay he was just a loner kid who didn’t want to be replaced by his only friend
I had a major crush on Panini and got traumatized when I found out that the only women who obessed over me irl were fugly fujos and not sexy pink rabbits
OK so its pretty obvious Carl Greenblatt really loves the "Thirsty girl" trope, as every single show he's made has at least 1. >Panini >Claire >Jabberjaw
Who's gonna be the thirsty girl in his new show?
ICYMI a Disney TVA Anon leaked the official title of the show on the Disney Annecy Panel thread, the show was formely know as Unnamed Pet Resort Project.
>Saachi & Ten. >A coming-of-age ensemble comedy centered around Saachi, an introverted teenage girl, and her older go-getting sister as they help run their family's vacation resort for pets.
It's unknow if the characters will be 100% human or anthro like Sing & Zootopia or with anthro animals with humans ala Bad Guys or Jellystone!
no

Would you?
no

This guy?
Yea, main cast aside he was my favorite.
Boy.
But uh...
I don't blame you for the question.
Why was he the apprentice of Alex DeLarge?
I'm amazed Carl decided on a femboy among the cast.
Apparently you're not the only one because some country dubs apparently had Ceviche voiced by a girl
This.
I used to like this couple as a kid but now the thought of it makes my skin crawl.
But hey, at least that's the only time Greenblatt made a creepy obsessive rabbit character. Glad he never did that agai-
Was he supposed to be gay to something?
It's been forever since I watched the show but I think the answer is yes, but they didn't ever really address it properly.

Dade is my boy. One of my favorite characters from the show.
Carl confirmed on his blog yes, Dade was a homo
God it is amazing how many times i've had to run to this man's abandoned blogs for conformation on shit because the networks keep cucking him out of actually putting it in his shows
And hermione was a black child with vitilgio
But Dade being gay actually fits well in the show though

Don't even remember her name? When's the last time you watched the show if that's all you can remember about it?
Yeah, there was plans for exactly that. Cancelled TV movie where the two were gonna kiss and a pirate captain voiced by Matthew McConaughey

We need to start a petition to get the film made, Hey Arnold style.
We don't need the film fully made, just get the storyboards released
Carl Greenblatt said he would come back to do one special, but it would be something completely different
Doubt it though considering cartoon network axed a TV movie for Billy and Mandy

And now, all CN airs now is fricking baby shows
My nostrils are flaring at the thought of more OG Chowder content. Any info dump with the details?

Yo that the chick who made a weird Sonic OC?
Aw yeah this is happening.

It's me. I'm Dade
This program is about to shit on me. Better quit it now before it actually vibrates my desk.
>creepy
Yes, but it made for some fricking hilarious moments
This fricking weirdo too, love this guy
Chowder was so extremely creative, I didn't respect it while it was airing though
That we're out of money fourth wall break is still the best fourth wall break a show has ever done
The implication that the cast and crew legitimately spent a day doing a car wash, all for a gag, is the best part.
If you ever went on the Chowder subreddit, you'd find alot of weird and autistic shit like this
RADDA RADDA

Obsessive people exist in real life. And it's easy low-hanging fruit to write them and write jokes around them. Lola Bunny being the best example.
