Maybe he was just tired. Did you ever confront him about it? Give him written warnings first?

I think it was more because he was a weirdo that didn't get on well with people. If someone has power and they don't like you, they'll use any small reason to get rid of you

This. I got fired cuz I kept flirting with the high school girls at a supermarket, America is a moronic backwards country.

No you thought it was flirting but they actually fired you because it’s creepy coming from an ugly autist

Meanwhile Chad could literally grab random women's asses and they'd just smile and flood their panties. Frick this gay world.

Don't shit where you eat. I'd suggest working on yourself and fricking milfs. And work on getting weird words out of your speech like 'chad.'

None of that matters. If you're ugly, your life is over socially. You're not ugly so you have no clue what it's like.

not gonna bother looking up the stats for you, but getting winky or hoo haa at work is a surprisingly common way for adults to get some. as in social circles close and work is one of the very few places people regularly interact with others.

    Is this a bait thread?
He didn't get fired just for taking long breaks but he made prints for himself of all the photos the family he stalked brought in without paying for them and for giving away free single-use cameras.

He stole from his employer, I think that's a pretty standard reason to get fired for.

You can make a case that every employee is stealing from the business.

        Most every employee steals.
        A paperclip? Company property.
Printing out home documents at work? Theft of ink and paper or misusing company property.
Recreational browsing? You prob signed and agreed to a pretty lengthy Internet usage policy that you didn't read.

Most people come in 10m late, or leave 15 early. Or take longer lunch breaks. Or do a bunch of personal work stuff during the day.

Every company knows it they just try to minimize what's reasonable.

Yes. It’s pretty standard for retail and wage jobs to have a set time for lunch,
Not being back on time would be the same as being late to work or leaving early.
This is basic shit for any job

I'm sure it happens. I cannot believe I haven't been fired from my factory job. I've been spending something like 2 hours a day in the bathroom on Cinemaphile. It makes me feel guilty because I want to get a work from home job so I can waste even more time but I feel bad that I will be doing that to a company gracious enough to let me work remotely. So to compensate I try to be even less productive, but I have this work ethic that forces me to still somehow be more productive than a good number of my coworkers. Alot of them are Mexicans who spend half the day standing around talking about stupid shit. So whatever. Also the work wifi inconsistently blocks Cinemaphile. Something it blocks Cinemaphile and not Cinemaphile, which is fricking backwards. Sometimes images larger than 1mb will load but smaller ones won't, like they're using different CDN and the network chooses whether to block them based on what day it is. Like I'm connecting to different routers. Except it doesn't seem to matter where I am. Idk how this is happening but whenever 4chsn is blocked I "punish" my company by doing even less work that day, for forcing me to use mobile data to phone post. I've also been promoted and know how to do stuff no one else does so I'm planning, once I go on vacation in September, to take 2 more weeks to make sure I get my vacation pay, then the next time my boss pisses me off I'll just walk out. I've been sleeping 5 hours a night for 2 years and feel so numb to reality I need a few months of NEETing to recover. If I don't, I'll just kill myself. Frick wagecucking.

You can be fired for anything, or nothing. We are "at will employees". You can also quit for any reason or none at all, or just not show up for work with no repercussions.

where i'm at it's the same.
there is at cause (justified) termination with 3 strikes warning system and no fault termination. you can be let go for no reason there's no obligation to keep someone as an employee. however the distinction is there for social safety net qualification.
those special laws are for unions.

I honestly wish I had a shorter lunch break where I work. It's a mandatory hour and it just pads out the day. I can't imagine needing more than 20 minutes to eat and I'd rather work 8 hours straight through if they would let me.

Depends on the job and bosses. I did retail and some guy would take hour lunches and half hour breaks every day while being seen on his phone all the time. Never got fired or anything because the department was held together with him and I. Also had a team lead that kept track of how much he was being paid to take a shit for half an hour every day and his excuse was IBS.
