Capeshit (especially big two capeshit) is so frustrating to me. It has amazing ideas and character/story concepts that always shit the bed during execution and never really gets to its true potential.
Pic especially related.

you gotta just look at it the way you do televised scifi and such
it's doing the best it can, good shit comes out of it, but the nature of the medium will always make it flawed. just enjoy nitpicking it.
I feel you. I like very few cape comics.
>it's doing the best it can
Not good enough.
>just enjoy nitpicking it.
Or move on to something more entertaining or productive.
> Not good enough
That was
point bonehead.
No, because that anon suggests running with it. It's grounds for abandonment.
skill issue.
It's the nature of the beast. It's impossible to stick the landing because the characters never truly land. Nothing has consequence and you go in with that knowledge so it's hard to get fully invested.
cape shit is more flat than fricking scooby doo
Have you considered that maybe you have really shitty taste?
At a certain point you need to realize that being a lifer isn't worth it. Know when to bow out and keep your memories. Revisit nostalgia, explore fields and back issues you haven't read maybe. But just take it for what it is.
the fricking editors dont know how to reign in the moronic writers
They don't seem to help in any way.
what's wrong with kraven's last hunt?
marywh0re will never be the one, let it go anon
Save for the 30 years where she was and the most important people for spiderman who all say she is? And the decades of media. And every notable au... tell me if I'm missing something
Agreed. I just started getting into capes like a year ago and the most annoying shit is fricking X-men. They have some of the coolest characters and all the books are is just them infighting and fricking each other every other year.
What kind of execution did you want from Kraven's Last Hunt?
NTA but the end was kind of hamfisted
it is like the plot made a mess of 100 blocks and the end is kind of putting 10 blocks back into place and handwaving away the rest
this is a typical comic book thing where the end of a plot arc should involve some major legal battle or major recovery from an injury or rebuilding a destroyed city and it all happens in just a few panels
What was ignored at the end?
Last hunt is so kino however
