Keep believing your lies lmao. Also Captain Marvel is so much better than that overrated Aquaman shit. The sequel is gonna be shit tho.

        >1 billion dollars at the time
Yes because people were conned into seeing it and made to believe it was a part of End Game.
        >The sequel is gonna be shit tho.
Yes exactly you know it for yourself because Carol isn't popular. Partly due to the actress' obnoxious personality partly due to the character being relatively obscure to the public.

did you ever stopped to wonder if there was a reason why the movie made a billion dollars?

I'm gonna give you a hint, the previous movie before Marvels was Guardians of the Galaxy, a movie completely unrelated and that is finished, therefore won't be continuing in the next few years. The movie that will follow is Deadpool 3, a movie that is definitely not connected at all to Marvels or anything since it's mostly a continuation of the X-Men saga from FOX.

In addition, the movie has no connection to the overarching plot of the Multiverse given that the plot is pretty much self contained between the three protagonists. Therefore, anyone interested in the Multiverse story can easily skip it just like they could easily skip all those shot tv series that weren't Loki.

So tell me why would anyone see this movie?

Bonus round: Reminder that Black Panther 2 didn't reach a billion.

I wonder how you guys will cope this time

            >I wonder how you guys will cope this time
I'll be absolutely fine if it does well and your pet character who has been supplanted by diversity hire extras in her own movie is somehow an unexpected break out success. Thought I have a strong suspicion it won't be owing to the fact it doesn't have the MCU hype to leverage this time around.

People in Hollyweird & those in charge of publishing/other mediums involved in the game should hit a giant pause button with the genre & let it die like the Westerns did back in the day.

Reboot it in 20 years time with new creative minds, new characters & new approaches to visual/narrative storytelling.

As of today, there is 0 hope for the present. This is officially the worst timeline to feel any investment towards the genre: godawful comics, cartoons, video games & blockbusters that keep regurgitating the same shit we've all witnessed a 1000 times before in the past while offering nothing new in return.

Let it all rot in hell & may the capeshit genre find solace & peace in another time, decade or life. The best days are officially behind us. Nothing would be lost by not consuming or observing what's currently happening in the industry at large since the sole goal of this circus is exploiting your initial love/nostalgia for the characters/franchises of the olden days that no longer carry the essence of truth & daring unchained exploration that it once did throughout the previous, more fruitful decades.

The new they offer now is race and gender swapping to pander towards the minorities within the audience as they are likely to throw dollars at the mere mention of representation. When that's your go to punch, you must be on the ropes.

Today's young gen of 'content creators' (from 17-25), the 'mighty' POC crusaders should be stopped (i.e. modern WGA writers with 0 knowledge of the classic/foreign literature or full comprehension of English that still got paid from $30,000-$80,000 per script for a subpar, abhorrent revision of He-Man or new IP with heavy messaging but no story).

Those promising artists on X with potential are still performing an unsuccessful dive into an unknown foreign territory: comics & animation mediums were founded & built on the shoulders of white immigrants.

The X mob mentality is as such: intellectual 'crackers' from the 90's in their 30's/40's (those who can't draw) are no longer allowed to contribute to THEIR VISUAL stories. Such decision never works in the POC's favor, i.e. - creating an animated show or a film that would stand the test of time, go against the norm & actually offer valuable moral lessons fused with exciting action & memorable stories.

The artists of X present nothing truly original in their short stories, reels or indie comics that would resonate or speak on a deeper, more meaningful level. Every piece of fan fiction/OC that's out there right now is devoid of originality, creativity & filled with pastiche or replication/melding of Anime/Tokusatsu since that's what the POCs are mostly into (the mindless action of Dragon Ball, not so much the brainy character/story development or the story of the likes of BTAS).

The ideal way for the future would be of people of different races & nationalities to unite & serve for the greater good of new protagonists for the children of the next generation (instead of pushing the whites away due to racism & identity politics), putting aside any political/social propaganda & instead focusing on what's right for the story.

African-American showrunner of S-M: TAS John Semper Jr. used decades of comics material from the iconic white writers to execute his perfect vision for the series. Let that sink in...

Aquaman 2 had no chances after Amber Heard destroyed all credibility that she had during the trail against Depp. That and DCEU is a dead movie franchise that's going to get rebooted. The Marvels basically proved that the hype and success for Captain Marvel was manufactured by Disney. Their lack of faith in Captain Marvel as a protagonist and Captain Marvel 2 as the title of the sequel led to them creating a team movie called the Marvels.

Man of Steel made more money than any Superman film. And adjusted for inflation only Superman 1978 made more money.

Yes, I mentioned Superman. Superman films will always do fine. There's a shelf life for crap like Black Panther, Captain Marvel, The Eternals, Blue Beetle, Suicide Squad, or even Thor. When the superhero fad subsides, we'll still have Batman, Superman, Spiderbro, and X-People.

Aquaman 2 will flop just like the Flash bacause parents don't want their children to see some crazy b***h on screen. On the other hand, The Marvels will flop too for the simple reason nobody gives a shit about the supposed protagonists, and I'm not even talking about Carol
