There Will Be Blood isn't anti capitalist it's anti greed, it's about a man consumed by greed, but that the system of ownership and whatnot isn't inherently bad (the other oil reps and plainview's son aren't depicted negatively at all) if anything it's another liberal "bad actors" critique
