Humans constantly disagree on which gods are the right ones and which religion portrays the correct objective reality.
Secular morality is simple: Humans agree to prevent harm to humans by humans. I don't want to suffer or be hurt, neither do you, so let's all agree not to hurt each other or contribute to each other's suffering.
That's your basis, now hammer out the details.

                >why should I do that? why shouldn’t I frick people over for my own gain if I can get away with it?
Because you wouldn't want other people to frick you over for their own gain just because they could get away with it.

                >being a selfish prick will most likely NOT cause me to suffer.
You will create a precedent for behavior within society that will result in others causing you to suffer by being selfish pricks toward you.

                >what about anti natalists? why are they inherently incorrect in wanting to end all human life?
If they want to kill themselves, I won't stop them, but trying to kill other people is wrong precisely because those people don't want to die.

                >it’s all subjective made up culturally ingrained crap all the way down
No different from religion. What's so "objective" about one religion when there are dozens of religions which will then fundamentally disagree with it? Religion is a culturally ingrained construct all the same.

                Anonymous

                >Because you wouldn't want other people to frick you over for their own gain just because they could get away with it.
But I know they won’t. Why are you speaking in these moronic deontological terms that don’t apply to observable reality? I know most people will not act like that and I can. The most successful people in the world are selfish and cut throat and that’s how they got where they were. This is literally just a fact. No amount of hypothetical ideological bullshit you never attempt to substantiate will change that. I will not create a precedent because I know the mass of people will always act like lemmings and follow the rules.
                >If they want to kill themselves, I won't stop them, but trying to kill other people is wrong precisely because those people don't want to die.
What does that matter? Why is it bad to kill someone that doesn’t want to die, inherently? Our entire society is founded on doing that. Civilisations solidified their power by doing that. If they believe suffering is not worth the cost of consciousness I can’t say they are inherently wrong because killing is not inherently wrong, animals do it all the time. Humans do it all the time.
                >No different from religion. What's so "objective" about one religion when there are dozens of religions which will then fundamentally disagree with it? Religion is a culturally ingrained construct all the same.
Way to miss the point and deflect. I’m saying morality and ethics are no different, and you know they aren’t

                Anonymous

                >I know most people will not act like that and I can.
Most people will not act like that because you live in a society that raises people not to act like that, so you have a biased perspective. The more people are taught it's okay to act like that, the more likely you are to get fricked in the ass by it.

The point is that humans can easily come to an agreement over the fact that they would all prefer not to be mistreated and then agree not to mistreat each other. No god is required for this. Non-human social animals like wolves do this shit all the time, they even will have rules for behavior and punishments (like being temporarily ostracized) for pack members who go against those rules, just like humans do but at a different scale. Wolves can create a system of morality without religion, why can't humans?

                >What does that matter? Why is it bad to kill someone that doesn’t want to die, inherently?
Because life is precious and irreplaceable and you should respect other peoples' desire to live if you would like them to respect yours. By extension, it would then be in your benefit to protect those desires of your fellow man being upheld by everyone else, too, so that they can in turn protect yours.

It just seems like you're being intentionally moronic at this point and trying to just avoid and deflect.

                >Humans constantly disagree on which gods are the right ones and which religion portrays the correct objective reality.
Giving the same thing different names isn't really disagreeing. People typically acknowledge the Sun as the source of life. People typically give reverence to the aspects of life that are beneficial to them, usually nature. Polytheistic religions worship those things as their "gods" and create rituals and systems to honour those things promote a cooperation between them and themselves. A monotheistic religion just chooses to see the bigger picture, and rather than worship each individual aspect of life, it blesses and appreciates those things but worships their one true source. Just because one person calls the sun "Ra" and another person calls it "Sunne" or "Sol" doesn't mean they're worshipping different things.

These are secret societies we are talking about. The ones who enforce laws on others that they themselves do not adhere to.

Thats with every society. Every society when they become corrupted force laws on the lower class that themselves do not adhere too. The US has become corrupted, but it was doing fine up until the past 100 years or so.

They all worship the same god. At least the Judeo-christian ones.

But the way that they're practiced is different isn't it you mong. Judaism and Christianity are diametrically opposed. Christianity is the anti-rabinnic religion. It was literary founded for the sole purpose of BTFOing "israeli" (the concept of a israelite is more modern than Christianity) corruption of talmudism. Christianity is true talmudism and Judaism is the shit that spawns concepts like shabbos goys and finding virtue in lying and cheating.

They have slight variations here and there because they are man-made and like all man-made stuff it's bound to have lies.
            >christianity is anti-rabbinic
You poor fool. Christianity is Zionism biggest ally.

The majority of christianity sure but worshippig Christ and rejecting Judaism as Christ did is not. What you morons don't seem to understand. True Christianity rejects Judaism.

              >They all worship the same god. At least the Judeo-christian ones.
Muslims deem Jesus as merely a prophet, and Judaism denies Jesus entirely. So no, they do not all worship the same God. They claim they do, but if you pay close attention and if you actually understand what is going on, then you'd know that they aren't the same God, because it's contradictory to say Muslims, israelites and Christians all serve the same God, when these differences impose a great division amongst all three.

Being too stupid to realise what you're worshipping doesn't mean you don't worship anything. You're either polytheistic (worship things in an of themselves) or monotheistic (worship the bigger picture and the source of all individual things). There aren't any other groups.

                Anonymous

Yeah, and atheism is neither of those. They don't worship anything. They believe they are just here and when they die that's it. They don't believe in anything poly or mono. Talking to a atheist is like talking to a rock. Thats why the majority of scientists and doctors are smart in their field of study but pretty fricking stupid when it comes to other subjects.

                >They believe they are just here and when they die that's it.
It is not a belief. It is a fact. There's nothing more factual than that.

                >They don't believe in anything poly or mono.
Yes and you cannot prove your bullshit. The only factual thing about religion is that billions of morons believe in it as a fact.
                >Talking to a religious people is like talking to a rock.
                Fixed.
                >Thats why the majority of scientists and doctors are smart in their field of study but pretty fricking stupid when it comes to other subjects.
Only the scientists and doctors that are religious. Those are pretty stupid.

How is it a fact? Explain that to me. Science says nothing is created nor destroyed so where does it go?

I expected a serious conversation from this but you're just coming off as a seething gay my guy.

                >Science says nothing is created nor destroyed so where does it go?
When I turn off my TV do the people inside get whisked away to TV heaven, or do the images simply cease transmitting as the screen goes dark without power? If nothing is created or destroyed then WHERE DO THOSE IMAGES GO?!

When living creatures die there is no "going" anywhere, they've simply been shut off and their brains have stopped transmitting signals.

If you really, genuinely believe that then what's stopping you from just just giving in to every single compulsion? With that type of thinking, there's no "better" or "worse", so it literally doesn't matter what happens, so just give in to every single temptation. There are no consequences to your actions because every outcome is the same. You pretending to believe any of that bullshit just shows you're not willing to think for 30 straight seconds about it, and you just want whatever answer is the easiest.
