>Nations have been mining the dead celestial from ETERNALS for resources including Adamantium, Japan being the first to turn it into an indestructible metal alloy.
>Sam Wilson is the new Captain America, but has been forbidden from interfering in international affairs by President Thaddeus Ross, who wants to use him mainly for propaganda.
>Sam intervenes anyway, and finds out that the Leader is playing 5D chess to turn the nations against each other and get the Adamantium for himself.
>The Serpent Society are the Leader’s biotech-enhanced enforcers. They have a small role and are mainly there for Sam to fight.
>Sabra is a CIA agent rather than a Mossad operative, and while she isn’t directly called a mutant, she states she has always had her powers and hasn’t been artificially enhanced.
>Sam’s friend Joaquin Torres becomes the new Falcon, and retired supersoldier Isaiah Bradley also joins the fight.
>Sam gets together with Army intelligence officer Leila Taylor, and Betty Ross also comes in to expose her father’s shady dealings.
>Ross turns out to have been using Bruce Banner’s gamma blood as a cure for his declining health, and has made a deal with the Leader to get it.
>Banner’s blood turns Ross into Red Hulk all according to the Leader’s keikaku, and Sam has fights Red Hulk with a Vibranium weapon in the third act.
>The concept of people using Banner’s blood as a supersoldier serum will lead into a solo Hulk movie that is already in development.
>Celestial from ETERNALS for resources including Adamantium
That's fricking stupid
One of the core components of Adamantium canonically comes from space.
Nah, it's just like Vulture using Chitauri tech or comics Apocalypse using, y'know, Celestial tech for his armor. It's incredibly common.
Nah it makes sense why the governments are so hush hush about it if they're mining it
Why?
This is fricking sludge. What the frick are they doing.
>Japan being the first to turn it into an indestructible metal alloy.
So this means Lady Deathstrike, right? No other Japanese character uses adamantium.
Probably. They allegedly want to give Wolverine a solo project rather than introduce him in X-Men, and when Wolverine goes solo, Japan is never too far behind.
Lady Deathstrike's father was the one who invented the process to bond adamantium to a person's skeleton that was later used by Weapon X. It's the reason Lady Deathstrike went after Wolverine in the first place.
I think Daken used Muramasa metal on his claws but he never made the jump to adamantium
Silver Samurai doesn't need to use adamantium because his mutant power makes that kinda moot
they're probably going to have Adamantium coming from Japan as an excuse for Wolverine's weeb background
Could also be Silver Samurai.
Why are there like five "MCU news" threads? Just put everything in one.
Doesn't Universal have the distribution rights to Hulk? It is why the Hulk never had another movie in the MCU after The Incredible Hulk movie.
They lost it this year.
It why TIH movie is on Disney+ now.
Do you believe everything that you read on the internet, anon?
Unironically sounds fun. Wish the MCU hate train would subside a bit so we could have actual discussions about their stuff again.
I'm still at a loss on how Ross managed to get elected president after the accords debacle.
I'm just baffled at how quickly the Hulk shit got swept under the rug when the Hulk is demonstrably and publicly an Avenger. Although maybe I shouldn't be when these days, MKULTRA is just seen as a whacky prank instead of a horrific human rights violation on multiple levels.
As Secretary of State, he was mostly in charge of the nation after the President, Vice President and most other high officials were snapped by Thanos for 5 years.
Supposedly he did well as leader during that crisis, all things considered.
>all this setup just to bring Wolverine into the MCU
Fricking yawn
>Red Hulk
Look at this dude...
Looks like CGI Harrison Ford.
I'm now reminded that the new Indiana Jones movie exist. Feel like it just went out with a wimper.
>OMG!
Nice selfie, anon.
I'm done with the MCU.
>Ross wants to use Sam mainly for propaganda
Isn't that what Disney did to him?
If this is true, I could see them debuting the MCU's Wolverine in the Hulk movie as the Leader's war-slave or something.
>Sam has fights Red Hulk with a Vibranium weapon in the third act
This actually sounds interesting. I've always hated how the individual hero films usually have the hero fight a villain that mirrors their powerset. Sam as a geared-out normie with flight up against Red Hulk could be cool, especially if he has to figure out how to put him down all by himself.
honestly yeah. this movie sounds kinda decent for how the last phase has been, might be a decent flick as long as the dialogue isn't super cringe.
>Sabra is a CIA agent rather than a Mossad operative
Gotta keep that international revenue in check I guess. Also, are they gonna stick with Torres being an actual biofreak? Giving him mechanical wings would just be redundant since Sam also has his vibranium wings.
meh
>Sam Wilson is the new Captain America, but has been forbidden from interfering in international affairs by President Thaddeus Ross, who wants to use him mainly for propaganda.
But Mr. President, the people of Israel need me!
Sounds dope. We are so back, Marvelbros
>CIA agent rather than a Mossad operative
What's the difference
Sabra is literally Israel the superhero. If she isn’t Israeli she has no reason to exist. It would be like making Black Panther American.
She is still Israeli.
>Sabra is a CIA agent rather than a Mossad operative
>while she isn’t directly called a mutant, she states she has always had her powers and hasn’t been artificially enhanced
You see, IRL synergy...
>CIA agent rather than a Mossad operative
Wasn't She-Hulk going to be in this? And a couple other characters?
All of these greentext are always fake and dumb, but you really, really give yourself away with "solo hulk movie"
That's never going to happen.
DOA.
I wasn't a fan of Anthony Mackie acting, but I really liked his performance on Twisted Metal so I'll give this a shot.
>It's another "ROSS rejects redemption and becomes a dick again" MCU film
Hasn't Marvel figured out we just find Ross an annoying bore?
