Nobody cares about The Falcon. There I said it. Even the actor thinks this too, yet Marvel is so desperate to ride the coat tails of the brand. It's just sad.
>Nobody cares about The Falcon.
I do.
shut up Falcon no one asked you
Well that's sort of the thing I care about THE FALCON not Captain Eagle.
They need to quit doing so many reshoots, it bloats the budget.
They budget these things with reshoots in mind.
Continuity scenes, sure. Not redoing entire setpieces.
If they did the budget would be lower
here's a weird thing most people don't know: a lot of these are scheduled. Casting announcements, reshoots, etc. Most of the time the work is done and almost finished but contractually Awkwafina or Ryan Gosling can't be confirmed until X/X/20XX due to random things ranging from "what if we need reshoots on other project" to "they're the brand ambassador of a gin company during this time and no actor actively promoting liquor can be in a Disney property."
Or, you know, it's Mephisto showing up and he's gonna raw dog Doctor Doom while Galactus watches so it's just three tennis balls being waved around some location in Georgia.
It is known, people just choose to ignore it because doomposting generates more engagement.
Bro they structure in a single set of reshoots. They’ve not reshot 3 times on this film this most recent including paying a new writer to fix and add to the script which will replace prior content.
You’re absolutely fuxjing moronic if you think this is normal or pre-planned.
They’ve now*
This is their first set of reshoots.
Just fricking cancel it already.
>tested poorly with Marvel executives.
I can imagine the notes
>Make it gayer!
>The girls need to win every fight!
>we need to include a message about how bad the patriarchy is
Pretty much a 180 from the notes they'd get if they showed it to an audience of actual human beings
leftist lobby probably don't want to see israel portrayed in a positive light with Sabra
Brave New World really isn't much better than New World Order is it?
They went from Nazi implications to sci-fi dystopia implications, maybe their third subtitle will get all the way up to just boring and depressing.
It seems silly to imply the title has anything more to do with the movie than 1984 did with WW84. They make up clickbait titles so people will see the movie and remember the product.
"I love Thor 3! It's so cool they got Doctor Who to be the bad guy!" "No that was Thor Love and Thunder, Ragnarok is the one with Doctor Who as Thanos grand dad!" <--- that's the kind of casual confusion they want to avoid with these names
They're basically reshooting the whole movie, I wouldn't be surprised if they announce a new director later.
Don't believe anything. The reshoots are probably Marvel execs making shit worse, not better. Loki S2's original episode 5 was liked by the entire production staff. So much so you had writers joining production because they loved the script. Then marvel execs tanked the episode at the last minute. The episode had to be rewritten in a weekend and then reshot. How do you have an episode universally loved by everyone but hated by execs? What the frick are they doing? Is this the actual reason the MCU is tanking suddenly?
What was the original ending for Loki S2E5?
Was never said in the interview. We'll probably never know. Likely under a NDA otherwise he would have elaborated when asked I assume.
Well, I thought the season finale was still pretty good despite the reshoots.
I don't think Loki S2 was bad at all, definitely better than S1 but episode 5 sounds like it would have been a lot more entertaining than what we got.
Modern writers are trash especially the ones who work for Disney. It was probably an explicit scene where Loki acts gay that the writers thought was so brave.
>The episode had to be rewritten in a weekend and then reshot.
The original version wasn't filmed.
General Ross (now recasted and played by Harrison Ford) becomes President and later Red Hulk. The plot revolves around superheroes and modern conflicts. The US is in part the bad guy and they want to control things and impose a new world order (the original title of the film was NWO but changed). They want it to invoke Winter Soldier.. but remember they thought Black Widow would be received like Winter Soldier. Sam pretty much creates a new team of Avengers too. Sabra's role is being cut down because of the current Gaza conflict. The problem is it is similar to some of the cameo issues they have had in recent movies. The politics is very anti-Trump style too. I suspect we will get politics stripped down, Sabra cut down to providing intel only and more Avengers-team spectacle.
>but remember they thought Black Widow would be received like Winter Soldier
Black Widow felt like an Asylum Films version of Winter Soldier.
That’s a great way of putting it.
>The politics is very anti-Trump style too.
lol that doesn't even make sense if Ford is a pro-war globalist. These morons can't even get their propaganda right.
trump was very anti war so it kinda makes sense
Only nazis are anti-war!
>Sabra's role is being cut down because of the current Gaza conflict.
>Gaza conflict.
You mean the open genocide being committed by Israel?
>Hiring a new writer to do "reshoots"
If this is just for reshoots, that's wasteful.
It they're redoing most of the movie... that's extremely wasteful.
>"brave new world"
>borrowing the title of a world-famous treatise on antihuman leftist evils
Do you think they're.. even capable of conceptualizing the irony?
Why are they even bothering to fix a film that is gonna bomb?
