The rumors about him having sunglasses instead of a mask were true I guess. Looks like shit, like some random guy doing Captain America cosplay for Halloween using only a workout shirt and blue pants.
He actually has a heads up display so it makes sense sort of. I guess a mask would technically be better for a real soldier but it's a superhero costume, and they probably prefer to be able to just have him act naturally rather than cutting to him acting in a bucket like RDJ did when he had lines behind the mask.
You have to figure that the MCU is more or less moving in real time, so even thought it was "just in the last movie", months or years may have passed for the hero.
That's a terrible excuse, especially considering No Way Home picks up almost directly after Far From Home and has him go through FOUR different costume designs (not counting Tobey and Andrew's) by the end in order to shill toys.
>replaced with a shittier MCU Stark Shield
I'm not sure how that'd work considering Spider-Man is nowhere near as close to the other heroes now as he used to be. Besides, that suit still hasn't really been "used" yet. Swinging around a couple times for twenty seconds isn't the same thing as "This is the final act suit the hero wears when they fight the bad guy."
I don’t play the game so I don’t know how any of it looks in motion, but anytime a Forgnite design of any guest character gets posted I’m usually pretty impressed. Their character designers seem to do really good work when it comes to adapting outside characters .
Much simpler/cleaner design. Also people need to get off the whole “where’s the helmet” shit, it’s a comic book movie in a comic book universe where half the heroes don’t wear helmets. It’s all part of the fantasy
it looks moronic
he looks like a moronic token black character
its like its impossible for these homosexuals to just make a black character who is actually likeable and not shit
looks moronic
the shield makes it look extra awkward
why the frick didnt they just have that arm guy use the shield instead? it suits him infinitely more than falcon
also how the frick does he move around and use the shield with those huge mech wings? this shit looks clunky as frick, honestly at this point it would make more sense if they did some asspull and gave him stark's holographic shield instead of this thing and even that would still look moronic
mcu is dead
Tbh the suit wasn't bad, the cowl's the worst part. But at the same time the suit looks too bulky or padded or something, wherein its concept art makes Sam look badass.
He's only been Captain America for like, 45 minutes so far.
I get that the MCU is run by a bunch of racists but Bucky earned the shield and a Wakandan wife.
>spent like 80 years as a brainwashed assassin >killed Howard Stark, a beloved American hero, and his wife
I get that he was brainwashed, came out of it a hero and all, but I don't see how he 'earned' it.
I like that elements of the Falcon design are still present, instead of pretending he was never that character.
This. It's a good way to do a legacy character imo.
The design itself isn't too bad, what kills it is the suit looks like it was made for a guy twice Sam's size. The frick was going on with the costuming department?

He'd have to earn it by proving himself to be the best Cap he can be for the country that needs a Cap now more than ever.
looks moronic
the shield makes it look extra awkward

I actually didn't have a problem with Sam getting the shield. What I had a problem with was the fact that he gave up immediately without even trying. Like he's really just going to put it in a museum where it's never going to do any good ever again? Like the government was really just gonna leave it there? In a world where they've already had multiple documented "criminals stealing vibranium from museums" incidents? For frick's sake, at least give it to Bucky - Not so Bucky could be Captain America, but so he could at least hang it over his mantel and have a memento of his best friend. Not to mention he tried to excuse it with "How could Steve do that to me? Doesn't he know how hard being Captain America would be? Doesn't he know I'm black? Maybe I don't like America." Like did this assfricks forget Sam was a soldier of the United States military when Steve met him? Holy shit, TF&TWS really ruined Sam for me.
Tbh I kinda view the people using the Captain America mantle are like Blue Beetles in the sense that each of them are different. Steve is the superpowered one and brawler. Sam is the one with wings and gadgets, while Bucky is the marksman.
He doesn't even have the serum to fully capitalize on it. Even if he does have the shield, he's getting his ass handed to him by anyone super soldier tier and above. It just feels superfluous compared to his ability to fly and using drones to get around the fact that he's not a superhuman.
The white suit looked better. Come to think of it, why didn't they use a red base? His original Falcon look was red, so I'm curious what a white/blue highlight version would look like
It is un-fricking-fathomable how they could shred the Cap brand into oblivion instantly after Endgame.
The Russos directed 4 of the best superhero films ever made and they fricking gave Sam's first film to someone whose only credits are a utterly panned Cloverfield sequel and some woke arthouse garbage about a ex child soldier destroying his teacher's life because she busted his friend for drugs. AND it's being written by the "stop calling them terrorist" guy, likely the worst most cringy moment in MCU history.
Imagine what else they could have done... > Bucky as Cap > Bucky & Sam as dual Caps > Frank Simpson / Nuke > Adapt the story with Zemo putting Bucky on trial for his Winter Soldier crimes at the top of the statue of liberty. > Fighting The Man with No Face and a topical Chinese communist threat (China would not like the film anyway because of the black lead) > NOT have Buck/Sam act like deranged dicks to Walker. > NOT have Sam sympathize with genocidal antifa stand-ins just because the b***h is multiracial.
Instead we are getting Sam molded into a fricking despicable far left lunatic fighting Trump stand ins & Hulk villains (1 who has not been seen since 2008 the other recast with a tired iconic actor dead certain to sleep walk through his role) without Bruce written/directed by some of the worst people possible.
>By the same geniuses who brought you "Black Panther Without Black Panther", "That One Female Hero That Did Okay But Now Is A Villain" and "That Other Female Hero People Liked But Now She's Permadead So Who Cares LOL"
The same homosexuals who brought us "Thor without Thor, Secret Invasion but Nick Fury isn't actually the mc, Shang-Chi but it's actually about Shang's dyke sister and why she's so much more special than him, Dr. Strange but it's actually about Wanda being a genocidal mom more than it is about Strange trying to be a hero, Moon Knight but it's actually about his beaner b***h, etc."
yea, it happened due to lot of reasons but I suspect it's because the writers just didn't know what to do with the characters behind making them McGuffins
People whined about the cowl before, but it really looks boring without it. They should have kept the majorly white colors as well to further separate him from Steve. It's a bad look when the series made a large point about Sam doing the mantle justice his own way, only for him to wear a blatant redux of Steve's suit in his next appearance.
>People whined about the cowl before,
They made fun of the fact it protected everything BUT the top of his head because of all the places you're going to not guard you prioritize showing off' "He I got black peoples hair" over just, a helmet?
So to rectify this they decided frick it, whole ass head might as well be open. For the motherfricker who flies and is a normal dude.
The open topped cowl/helmet look has always been stupid looking, like MCU Star Lord's quasi helmet/mask whatever the frick or Amalgam's Super Soldier. Why bother with head protection if it's not covering the top of your head?
I just wanted the cowl gone, the blue doesn't look as good as the white outfit. Cowls just fricking suck in live action, they've always sucked. Batman comes the closest to making it work and it's a total crapshoot then. Both Bale and Affleck's mouths looked weird in it, and they rightfully changed it for Pattinson and pulled the cowl back to his jawline.
Cool. The old one made him look short and stumpy. This one plays through his strengths.
The rumors about him having sunglasses instead of a mask were true I guess. Looks like shit, like some random guy doing Captain America cosplay for Halloween using only a workout shirt and blue pants.
He actually has a heads up display so it makes sense sort of. I guess a mask would technically be better for a real soldier but it's a superhero costume, and they probably prefer to be able to just have him act naturally rather than cutting to him acting in a bucket like RDJ did when he had lines behind the mask.
>like some random guy doing Captain America cosplay
I mean, it is what it is
I like that elements of the Falcon design are still present, instead of pretending he was never that character.
Kinda looks like they just added more blue and took away his mask
I wonder if the leak about hom getting a vibranium helmet are true
It looks like captain america but black
Getting really tired of characters who get a brand new suit at the end of their movie/show only to scrap it completely for the next movie/season.
I just know this thing right here is getting trashed in a dumpster fire and replaced with a shittier MCU Stark Shield design.
No one cares about the reasoning, its a shitty bait-and-switch.
I'm sure they'll still use this in the new movie. Look how much mileage they got out of the FFH red/black suit
>replaced with a shittier MCU Stark Shield
I'm not sure how that'd work considering Spider-Man is nowhere near as close to the other heroes now as he used to be. Besides, that suit still hasn't really been "used" yet. Swinging around a couple times for twenty seconds isn't the same thing as "This is the final act suit the hero wears when they fight the bad guy."
BLACK FALCON
blackbird
I'M THE BLUE FALCON
BLACK FALCON, GET BACK INTO FALCON FORMATION!
in other words they gave him steve's suit and a pair of sunglasses
>let's create a bird-themed sidekick for Captain America
>call him the Falcon instead of the Eagle
What were they thinking?
The red-tailed hawk would have been a smarter choice. Fits with the red/white color scheme too
?si=yuBARbx9H6PYs_t8
American Eagle was already planned. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Blue_Eagle_(character)
they just took fortnite captain america and gave him his outfit lol
The Fortnite Marvel designs are honestly better than the MCU om average so I wouldn't blame them.
I don’t play the game so I don’t know how any of it looks in motion, but anytime a Forgnite design of any guest character gets posted I’m usually pretty impressed. Their character designers seem to do really good work when it comes to adapting outside characters .
Too bad the game is shit. That DD design goes hard af.
Isn't that the Checchetto design? Still, it's great.
MIles Morales is Miles Morales.
Falcon is Falcon.
"Miles Morales" is just Peter Darker.
Shite
>Captain Falcon
PAWNCH!

This will go down as Sam's version of the Avengers 1 Cap suit.
Tbh the suit wasn't bad, the cowl's the worst part. But at the same time the suit looks too bulky or padded or something, wherein its concept art makes Sam look badass.
I still think it looks pretty cool.
Avengers 1 Cap suit was so much worse.
He's only been Captain America for like, 45 minutes so far.
>spent like 80 years as a brainwashed assassin
>killed Howard Stark, a beloved American hero, and his wife
I get that he was brainwashed, came out of it a hero and all, but I don't see how he 'earned' it.
This. It's a good way to do a legacy character imo.
It's too loose and wrinkly. Should be skintight.
Also I think it would help his overall look a lot of Mackie had more fricking hair.
>This will go down as Sam's version of the Avengers 1 Cap suit.
It isn't a hundred million light years close to being that bad.
Honestly the biggest issue is the cowl/goggles. They make his head look comically round. Maybe if he had a bit more hair, it'd work.
It's the fricking cowl on both of them
The design itself isn't too bad, what kills it is the suit looks like it was made for a guy twice Sam's size. The frick was going on with the costuming department?
Nobody
thinks
he
is
Captain
fricking
America
I don't think we're meant to considering how much of the FALCON design is still intact (the wings, the sunglasses, the fully exposed head).
Cope
seethe
mald
ratio
I'll say the same thing to you when this movie tanks.
Real shit.
>I get that he was brainwashed, came out of it a hero and all, but I don't see how he 'earned' it.
He'd have to earn it by proving himself to be the best Cap he can be for the country that needs a Cap now more than ever.

>"How could Steve do that to me? Doesn't he know how hard being Captain America would be? Doesn't he know I'm black? Maybe I don't like America."
That wasn't his point at all.
Well, then, explain it to me.
Not really. Too much blue and looks a lot like Steve's comic book look.
It needs white for contrast.
>Still no helmet
>For the one guy that absolutely needs it
Sure, just have him FLYING with no headgear and flying headfirst into shit, sure, why not. So moronic.
He has a helmet, autismo.
I don't like it he should ditch the wings and just be Captain America or ditch the shield and fly, he looks dumb doing both.
So just give him the serum
The white suit looked better. Come to think of it, why didn't they use a red base? His original Falcon look was red, so I'm curious what a white/blue highlight version would look like
So when are they bringing Steve back? Captain Falcon is boring as can be.
Looks like one of my turds dressed up like a patriotic bird.
it's fricking ugly. why they thought making falcon the next captain america was a good idea ?
It is un-fricking-fathomable how they could shred the Cap brand into oblivion instantly after Endgame.

Who greenlit this?
Bump

There's a Shang-Chi 2?

I'm pretty sure I saw Chris Hemsworth in basically every scene of Love & Thunder.
People whined about the cowl before, but it really looks boring without it. They should have kept the majorly white colors as well to further separate him from Steve. According to Buckethead they're reshooting it again.
Think it needs more red, it's unbalanced with the wings also being majority blue
