>Captain Marvel sequel is titled The Marvels
>Eternals sequel is reportedly titled Eternity War
Seems like the true metric for whether Marvel considers one of their movies a disappointment is if they give the sequel a completely different name.

God I love Brie.
Remember that you will never be a female.
I’m sorry no one replied to this comment when you posted it in the other thread, anon. But I don’t think it’s a strong enough topic to warrant making a whole thread around.
I've seen worse.
Also, what Eternity War implies, exactly? Any Eternalgays care to loredump?
Eternity War in the comics is completely unrelated to the Eternals: it's a battle to save the current Eternity from the Original Eternity
it's in Ewing's Ultimates2, great stuff
>Seems like the true metric for whether Marvel considers one of their movies a disappointment is if they give the sequel a completely different name.
Its called The Marvels because:
>Feige is pushing for diversity.
>Brie Larson has a diversity rider and wants it massively included.
Hence why we have black Marvel set up in Wandavision and Ms Marvel.
It's called The Marvels because Marvel's Captain Marvel The Marvels would verge on semantic satiation
Remember when Jean Grey was called Marvel Girl?
>semantic satiation
brb, using this term in conversation enough times to make it happen to itself
>Brie Larson has a diversity rider
what's a "diversity rider"?
>Marvel’s Captain Marvel 2: The Marvels
maybe that name just fricking sucked?
Eternity Wars isn't an Eternals movie, though. Plus Feige just called it Captain Marvel 2 yesterday.
>Eternity Wars isn't an Eternals movie, though
Allegedly it is, titled as such because it's about rival factions of Eternals going to war in space.
Eternity War is not an Eternal's movie, it's literally one of the ones registered as an Avenger's movie. The other ones being Kang Dynasty and Secret Wars.
Nope, the Avengers ones were the Kang Dynasty, Secret Wars and Timeless.
I stand corrected.
Also means Marvel won't have a female solo trilogy even after a ton of male characters have them.
