What is it about Scott Pilgrim and Daria that mindbreak you idiots. A flawed character is not the writer saying that its ok to have those flaws. Flawed characters have these things called "arcs".
The characters don't really grow very much in Scott Pilgrim, all that happens is that Scott and Ramona end up getting together, but they still act the same for the most part. Ironically for a story named after Scott, the side characters (such as Knives and Kim) end up having much more interesting arcs than Scott ever does. Knives grows the most out of any of the cast because she realizes Scott's band isn't very good and that him and all of his friends aren't very good people, and so she leaves. Idk how much of a character arc beating up strangers so that you can be with a girl who's equally as shitty as you is. Scott doesn't really grow as a person.

What's Daria's arc besides being a shit friend
