>Cartoon Network? Nickelodeon? Comedy Central? I oop, big yikes, wtf is this sus boomer trash? I grew up on Hazbin Hotel, Helluva Boss, Skrilidibi Toilet, Digital Circus. Those are the drip bussin' real cartoons, no cap. Y'all need a vibe check. Pluh.
What are your thoughts on the average cartoon fan in some years?
who are you quoting?
Gen A posters
You.
The voices in his head
>Thoughts on this stupid bullshit I just made up?
What the frick do you think smart guy
You must be at least 18 to post here.
Can the Russians just nuke us?
>he thinks the Russkies have any power
I watched a video with some zoomers in it recently and they started out saying "bro" but then it was like they caught themselves and said "bruh" multiple times in a way that sounded way more forced than "bro". Shit was weird, like they were trying to force themselves to conform to the slang.
MK-ULTRA MIND CONTROL FROM BLACKROCK
John K will never like you
Back in the day there was a delineation between online speak and how people talked in the real world. As time goes on and internet life becomes "real life" people will increasingly force themselves to integrate phrases, spellings, and just general vocabulary that they use to communicate in online text into how they actually speak. Memespouting used to be frowned upon, now it will increasingly become the norm, until people are speaking like a mix of teenage girl text messages and nigtwitter babble.
>speaking like a mix of teenage girl text messages and nigtwitter babble.
thats me the last 20 years, people cant stand me
Man it was so weird when I heard someone say LOL in real life back in college.
ITT: shit zoomers say
>Surfin Bird is only popular because of Family Guy! Nobody knew about it before!
>pre-2015 video with surrealist/absurd humor
>"woah, this video was ahead of its time!"
>Boomers are the reason why I'm a loser.
>It aged poorly
>It doesn't hold up
>It's 20 years old. That means it's retro
>Fanboy and Chum Chum wasn’t that bad
>Early 2010s was the Cartoon Network renaissance
>Family Guy has improved
>Superman was the first superhero
>Gross-out cartoons are bad
>Cartoons peaked with Avatar
>Teen Titans was the first cartoon with an ongoing story
>Spongebob shovelware on PS2? Now that was kino
>Post-sequel Spongebob is good
>Pokimane is hot
>Jimmy Neutron is better than Dexter’s Lab
>Butch Hartman is a hack
>Sonic X is /co
I have literally seen zoomers say A-HA's Take on Me i only popular due to Family Guy.
Not that it wasn't a gigantic hit AND was in South Park's ski episode before AND even spawned the 'literal music video' trend.
>I have literally seen zoomers say A-HA's Take on Me i only popular due to Family Guy.
Thats weird I thought zoomers only knew it from the dark souls video.
you MUST go back
>I grew up on Hazbin Hotel, Helluva Boss, Skrilidibi Toilet, Digital Circus. Those are the drip bussin' real cartoons, no cap. Y'all need a vibe check. Pluh.
Ironically, zoomers are the ones making fun of iPad kiddies (Gen Alpha) for watching Skibidi Toilet and Digital Circus as well as the content farms that were spawned because of the two.
>"woah, this video was ahead of its time!"
I hate when they fricking say that shit, and it's on almost every YTP made prior to 2014.
It's kinda funny and sad how "millennials" have developed zoomer rent-free brainrot that you end up with tards like this guy.
>pattern recognition is brainrot
Words are meaningless to you I see.
>intensely observing and obsessing over every dumb shit zoomers do 24/7
Yes.
>intensely observing and obsessing
Just because you're high 24/7 doesn't mean everyone is forgetting what they saw 5 minutes ago.
>It's 20 years old. That means it's retro
This one is technically right
2004 is not retro
Why not?
It just isn't, okay?
Why not, you stupid bastard?
>literally have never heard anyone say that
>I blame this on vine brainrot that shit made so many have a way too simplistic moronic view of humor
>true but millenials said this too for awhile until zoomers started saying it
>those are just twitter zoomers that only care about pretending to have a moral high ground over everyone that bugs them
>I hate that mentality so much fanboy and chum chum will never be good and neither will Henry danger no matter what those gays say
>I mean it kind of was (you can’t tell me 06-09 Cartoon Network wasn’t a huge low point)
>zooms have always loved family guy and are just in a phase where they’re pretending they only do now to hide that they pretended not to because millenials opinions weigh heavily on their insecure minds
>idk they probably think super man was the first hero for some reason
>the gross out cartoon stigma is because some autistic millenials thought this years ago and young zoomies were too insecure to disagree and now don’t want to seem weak by contradicting themselves
>I feel like that’s more younger millenials than zoomers acting like avatar was the second coming of Christ
>yeah but sometimes they’ll pull the “so ahead of its time” card or they see any cartoon from before 2003 with serialization
>that’s only older zoomers and it’s fricking annoying but it’s mostly because of how much of an event spongebob anything was on 04 and 05 before people really started thinking it fell off in 06 and 07
>that flip flops because it’s so different from the SpongeBob they grew up with they actually hate it now
>no one gives a frick about pokemane
>it kind of is though dexters lab episodes have really awkward pacing and abrupt endings
>yeah they all think this
>I doubt anyone says sonic x is co anymore
>>I mean it kind of was (you can’t tell me 06-09 Cartoon Network wasn’t a huge low point)
Yeah, Cartoon Network still had those shitty live action shows. But it was good seeing that they were greenlighting cartoons on the side. Adventure Time, Regular Show, Gumball and (I hate to fricking say it) Steven Universe did good for the network. I think they were doing alright around their 20th anniversary back in late 2012.
also another indicator it's the Cinemaphile zoomer
https://desuarchive.org/co/search/subject/Shit%20zoomers%20say/type/op/
If you dont trhink pokimane is hot your gat
>>It's 20 years old. That means it's retro
To be fair in the 90s I thought of the 70s as retro
You forgot:
>Hazbin Hotel was the first indie cartoon.
>You want hand drawn instead of tweened? Lol why work more for a worse result, get with the times.
>Wtf this cartoon didn't have BIPOC representation? RACIST
>Wtf this cartoon represented BIPOC as they look in real life? RACIST
>Wtf this cartoon represented BIPOC different to what they look like in real life? ERASURE, BLACKFACE
>Only having cishet relationships in cartoons was boring anyway.
>Patreon saved comics, creators can now become millionaires by doing one page a month and this is heckin valid.
>Uuh, where are the jokes? I know i'm watching a action/drama cartoon but wouldn't hurt to liven it up with some randumb jokes.
>Rick and Morty beats every other cartoon in intellectualism, literally life changing experience.
>How can i relate to the character if they are not exactly like me? Why didn't they at least give them some hobbies like Pokémon GO?
>What do you mean there are cartoons i can't find on youtube or streaming services??
>You only think current cartoons are bad because ones you grew up with were different.
>You can't just claim one style is worse than the other, i personally love the flat tweened calarts style.
>Characters should only be voiced by a same raced person regardless of skill. No, this logic can't be applied to talking animals and aliens because that's way different.
>This cartoon is just copying an anime i know, animes usually did everything sooner.
>This cartoon doesn't have an anime reference? Didn't animes exist at the time?
>You don't like superheroes being replaced? Their hero names are just titles anyway, their person is in no way relevant to their character.
>>This cartoon is just copying an anime i know, animes usually did everything sooner.
Guy complains about that a lot and that moron is not from gen Z
>Cartoons peaked with Avatar
>Teen Titans was the first cartoon with an ongoing story
>Jimmy Neutron is better than Dexter’s Lab
special effects back then were something
Stop making people up to get mad at.
>Cartoons peaked with Avatar
when i first saw Avatar existing, i seriously thought it's a ripoff or spinoff of Xiaolin Showdown. am i the only one seeing the similarities?
avatar is older
>avatar is older
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Xiaolin_Showdown
"Originally premiering on the Kids' WB block of programming on The WB on November 1, 2003"
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Avatar%3A_The_Last_Airbender
"Avatar aired on Nickelodeon for three seasons, from February 2005 to July 2008."
??????????????????????
>Post-Sequel Spongebob is good
I’ve seen people as young as 14 still claim that Spongebob was only ever good during it’s first three seasons and that “wacky faces” are as evil as raping Hillenburg’s corpse
>It's 20 years old. That means it's retro
>Cartoons peaked with Avatar
>Spongebob shovelware on PS2? Now that was kino
These three statements are objectively true and you can frick right off if you disagree, gramps.
True
that's just twitter
Neutron is better than Dexter’s Lab
Dude, don't make up shit just to bash on Zoomers. Zoomers don't say the shit in droves, If you're gonna bash on them, at least bash them for stupid shit they actually do.
>Superman was the first superhero
To be fair, all generations think that
>Jimmy Neutron is better than Dexter’s Lab
This is true I like Dexter's lab and all bht Jimmy Neutron is just better
Neutron is better than Dexter’s Lab
But unironically
who is the person in the pic anyway?
some instagram kid
imagine posting a selfie and you become the face of a generation for the purpose of being mocked lmao
It's happened before, it will happen again
They don't even look that bad honestly. Makes wonder how the people mocking them look like.
All around me are familiar faces
Worn out places, worn out faces
>time moves on
>old guard changes
NOOOOOOOOOOOOO
The zoomer in your picture problaby doesnt watch any cartoon
>Cinemaphile zoomer tries to make his generational threads on Cinemaphile
https://arch.b4k.co/v/search/image/s2E7rRA9jR8lwez4et2x9w/
>Cartoon Network? Nickelodeon? Comedy Central?
I look like this but I saw and enjoyed all of this.
>Generation Z, also sometimes known as iGeneration, Zoomers, post-Millennials, or Homelanders, are defined by Pew Research Center as those born between 1997 and 2012.
You don't think someone born in 1997 watched Cartoon Network or Nickelodeon as a kid?
I was born in 1997 and I never watched cartoons as it was HARAM in the household.
Ahh, so self hating zoomers do exist. Sad!
I was also born in 1997, I had plenty of Muslim friends in school and they were allowed to watch Pokemon, Yu-Gi-Oh, Avatar and WWE. How goddamn strict were your parents?
They wouldn't let me fricking watch Spongebob because of that episode where Spongebob and Patrick raise an infant clam. I'm not fricking kidding. I had very Christian grandparents. My mum didn't really care when I watched it at her house, but I spent most of my childhood living with my grandparents and they were very restrictive on what I could or couldn't watch. Same applied to videogames.
>They wouldn't let me fricking watch Spongebob because of that episode where Spongebob and Patrick raise an infant clam.
That sucks. The clam episode was one of the best IMO. I still quote "OVERTIME!?!" whenever its overtime in any game.
>Muslim
have a nice day shitskin
Not even muslim, frickface.
Imagine getting triggered by a israelite.
Most Zoomer hate threads (specifically threads hating on zoomers not just anyone hating on Zoomers) tend to be by self-hating zoomers who interact with other zoomers a lot. I can tell cause I've never actually seen the stereotypical Gen-z most of Cinemaphile complains about despite living in a dense city.
from my experience they're usually made by late 90's born zoomers who hate that they're zoomers and desperately want to distance themselves from the rest of them
millennials used to do the exact same thing over a decade ago when it was cool to shit on them
Older zoomer here
My younger brother acts somewhat like the stereotypical zoomer but not as extreme as OP make it seem
I've seen some of those threads really. About one saying EEnE was always a "zoomer slop cartoon" despite premiering when most zoomers weren't even born yet and the oldest members of Generation Z being too young to even have memories of it. Or how no zoomer grew up with VHS or the PS2, despite both of those things being prevalent throughout most of the 2000s. The VHS thing might apply to someone born after 2004 tho.
>no zoomer grew up with VHS or the PS2
We had VHS when I was less than 5
And the PS2 was very common for zoomers, specially if the family was lower income
yeah and there's probably some people in the 80's who still had 8-tracks instead of cassettes or people in the 90's with records who weren't DJs. You just had old tech, no one counts those as part of the current cultural zeitgeist that defines a generation. Watching VHSs or reruns isn't the same as experiencing them brand new.
VHS were still common then as they were still being manufactured with media of it's time recorded on it.
Hollywood films were still being released on VHS until 2006. It's not as old as you think.
I've also seen a few who say zoomers never grew up with CRTs, even though people still used them well into the early 2010s even after widescreen TVs became popular.
I was still in school by that time and they always had a CRT TV mounted in the corner of the room.
Zoomers and gen Alpha don't even watch cartoons, or even movies for that matter. They exclusively consume content in the form of TikTok clips and "recap" videos.
>Zoomers and gen Alpha don't even watch cartoons, or even movies for that matter.
If that's true then why do I keep seeing zoomers praise Puss and Boots 2 and praising that gay panic attack scene. And why do you have all these zoomers praise the Mario movie while dunking on Disney and Pixar for making "mid" movies? Somethings not adding up.
They get their opinions from various TikTokers or YouTubers.
Trying to hard. But going by that logic, I guess that applies to every generation under the sun.
those are an extreme minority, the zoomers that look like the one in the OP are just listening to rap and watching the most popular TikTok shit.
Going by this shit generation Alpha are little kids and the offspring of Gen Z/Y who are in fact the same generation you stupid bastards. See how each interval is only 15 years and they overlap so much to the point where Y and Z have a lot of people of the same age, which means they have to be siblings.
Going by actual biological generations instead of moron sociology shit, ie. 18 - 30 years, for that is roughly how old people are when they have kids, so we can say one generation is the offspring of the other, if Gen Y is now, Generation Z are little kids and Gen alpha don't even exist yet.
I mean Jesus Christ this frick in OP's image is in his early 20s. I'm in my early 30s. How are we NOT the same gen?
Anyway watch Gundam. It is timeless. Be men.
Forgot the link. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Generation_Alpha#/media/File:Generation_timeline.svg
> Gundam
Robot capeshit
>watch moronic mecha chinese cartoon because robots go pewpew
Gundam sounds fun to me.
I hate to ask a really controversial question but: Is there a dub of double zeta? I watched zeta's dub years back but last I checked double zeta never got one.
Kinda yes but also banned. Apologies for plebbit link.
https://www.reddit.com/r/Gundam/comments/ya84zj/was_there_ever_a_english_dub_for_mobile_suit/
Shame but I can see why Sunrise might want to bury that particular dub considering the SEA region dubs have a tendency to be kind of unintentionally hilarious. Particularly the Philippines, Singapore and Malaysian ones.
DBZ shoots to mind really quick.
I don't know what scarier. The fact that the eldest half of Gen Z are having kids, or the fact that Gen Alpha is already online shitposting. Well the Gen Alpha kids are like 14 and younger now, but that still scares me.
Why is my discord kitten talking back to me?
aaaaaaaaand the thread's dead
good fricking riddance
The guy in you pic is way too old for the shit you're listing
The OP says "in some years". People who grow up nowadays will be like that.
I'm in college right now, and there was this one girl last semester that was basically saying in the group how she liked skibidi toliet, and was saying how she liked it even though it was childish.
I knew some people in the group so I was able to wiggle my way into there, and ask her about it.
> So do you like GMod animations?
> GMod?
> Garry's Mod.The game that the animations you're watching is being made on.
> Oh really?
Then it basically devolved into going a bit too hard on trying to catch her up on most of the great Gmod animators (Kitty0706, Eltorro64rus (Pissmas Miracle), even That Gray Cartoon Pony.)
Hopefully I expanded someone's palette that day.
Probably looked a bit autistic, but I think her fasicnation with Skibidi toliet in a college setting canceled it out.
Millennials seethe about Zoomers the way Gen X seethed about them, or how the Silent Generation seethed about Boomers. Cycle of history
A zoomer woman put her butt on my crotch once during a night party at ranch house in Texas. Needless to say, this was my first raging boner. I've had boners before (what man hasn't?) but not a boner that was so rockhard that it wanted to explode into a million pieces. I'm glad Gen Z females have subscribed to Instathot looks and fashion, that means more zoomer roastie pussy for me to plow.
Boomers were right about millennials
>We are four years away from alphas being able to legally being able to post here
>From what I've heard they're zoom zooms but worse
We have zoomers proudly proclaiming they've turned 18 here now, implying they've posted while underage.
I used to post on Cinemaphile when I was underageb& from some point in 2004 through the first half of 2006
I always think it's funny how I was actually 18 when I started browsing Cinemaphile back in 2010. I feel like I'm an oddity.
You guys have no one to blame but yourselves for how zoomers turned out.
Network? Nickelodeon? Comedy Central? I oop, big yikes, wtf is this sus boomer trash?
SPEAK ENGLISH! SPEAK! ENGLISH!
zoomers watched Disney XD
god that broccoli haircut really is just the ugliest shit on earth
Everyone forgot:
>Japan invented mature cartoons.
>Japan invented the Sonic the Hedgehog style. Who is Felix the Cat?
>Let it Go is the best song made for a movie.
>Cartoons just mean from USA, not like anyone else has cartoons in the west.
>This cartoon was full of fetish shit, i mean have you seen that guy get inflated and explode to bloody pieces, or that time when you can actually see someone sitting on a toilet? When the character gets wounded i totally get ryona vibes too.
>My shipping of these fictional characters is way more valid than your shipping, frick you.
>Cartoon animals are always furries.
>Haha he turned himself into a pickle!
>this show wound up contradicting both my headcanon AND QueenYuriGirl2005's ten chapter fanfic -- the writers clearly gave no idea what they're doing and killed the show
Literally nobody says this. Quit making up imaginary opponents in your head
It is funny when Gen Z collectively rediscovers things which were popular 15+ years ago.
Are these zoomers in the room with us right now?
>Japan invented mature cartoons.
>Japan invented the Sonic the Hedgehog style.
that's both true
You aren't ready for gen alpha
why is this thread full of people conjuring up imaginary strawmans in their heads to get angry at?
you do realise this is what the baby boomers used to do to you, right?
Because the strawman reflects reality?
Prove it. Post evidence that these big bad zoomies are saying the exact shit everyone is describing ITT
Ironic shitposting threads are cancer and against
OP is a homosexual.

Evidence: this board.
Why would I give a frick about people who watch cartoons?
Hey guys look, a zoomer homosexual and a cartoon millennial homosexual.
/co/mrades, what is funnier? The fact that OP is technically right and there are some people in their twenties who say this dumb shit to act like they're more hip than people in another generation, even though it's people in their thirties, arguably the same fricking gen?
Or the fact that OP is a homosexual thirtysomething who missed this fact and is doing the very thing he's b***hing about, acting like his 'generation' has more class when it's the same generation with no class?
I like Skibidid Toilet. I was worried about decline of popularity of those moronic gmod videos; Team Fabulous 2, mass defect, scout's amazing adventures to name a few
and then this series happened and pretty much made this medium more poular than ever
Why do millennials feel threatened by literal children?
Because nobody has transitioned to adulthood yet.
>literal children
the oldest members of gen z are 27.
I've seen some anons refer to Gen Z as middle schoolers. T
Gen Z is apparently 1997-2012, so that's all but the youngest middle schoolers.
I mean all of those things are objectively better than anything those networks have put out in the past 14 years.
>2003
>not a late gen z
I always like how this meme always goes a year down every year. Next it's gonna be 1997 - 2004.
>Early Gen Z/Zillennials - 1997-2002
>Core Gen Z/Zoomers - 2003-2007
>Late Gen Z/Zalphas - 2008-2012
I was born in '97 and my lil bro was born in '02. Even though we were born five years apart it just feels like he's way younger than me, but I won't deny that we are in the same generation. I still remember bullying him when we were little and farting on his face making him smell it.
You're an butthole
I work at a middle school and the only animated shows I see kids like are anime. The only western show I've ever really seen referenced is after Arcane came out a couple kids did fan art that got put up on the wall as art projects, couple pieces of Jinx and Vi
Also that one kid who drew a Chinese Shaggy.
A late teenager to young adult "grew up" with cartoons made past their childhood?
"in some years"
In some years they're already going to be even further into adulthood. The next "kid" gen is going to be Alpha
Other than the filename(possibly), the OP didn't refer to any generation, but people who WILL grow up with the currently popular cartoons.
I wonder if people on this board even interact with zoomers on a daily basis or are just making themselves mad all the time.
So, were all zoomers genetically modified to have curly hair or something?
