Did anyone else rewatch the series in preperation for Fionna and Cake? I got to season 8. I'll probably finish up the last few seasons this weekend. The first four seasons are still really good even to this day. Season 1 was even better than I remembered. Season 5 is a mixed bag with some really good and really bad episodes. I dislike it less in some places and more in others, but overall its just okay. Season 6 was good but it still had a handful of bad episodes. Season 7 is pretty strong in my opinion and really breathed a lot of life into the series. I'm mid way through season 8 but I'm enjoying it.
