Maybe the original pilot was, but the series was all done in-house at the main studio. Even George Gendi, the creator himself, moved from the UK to work on the series directly here in the States.

Yes, animation's done in France, but writing/designing/voice recording/post-production is all done at CN Studios in Burbank. Saying Primal is a strictly French production would be like saying Adventure Time and Steven Universe were strictly Korean productions. Studio La Cachette is just who Genndy and CN Studios outsource to.

Cancelled. The crew didn't even get to write a quick send-off episode at the last minute. I thought Season 2 would be 40 episodes again and that we were just waiting for the final 4 to air sometime in 2022, but I had to find out through a casual Tweet from the creator that the entire series had already aired and was being added to HBO Max. Cartoon Network couldn't even be up-front about the show being over.

This was supposed to be a welcome card for Gennedy now that he's back with Cartoon Network studios. You guys will believe in anything
No Dexter, but Didi, Craig and his little sister get front billing. Frick off.
Just a reminder that Regular Show was cancelled. They didn't know it was going to be the last season until halfway into it. There was a reddit AMA that mentioned this (don't know if it's still there) but the crew seems very hushed about it. There was a lot of cut content. I remember discussing a most likely now deleted tumblr post (I couldn't refind it back then after awhile) from one of the crew talking about how the park dome was going to meet Gene's park dome. Also we missed out on them terraforming planets.
I just want people to know that since no one cares to elaborate.
Adventure Time was also cancelled, but I don't feel as bad for that show since the crew had more than enough time to move the plot along while still doing some more experimental one-off episodes, but they instead focused way more on the latter until CN warned them they'd be pulling the cord. The AT Crew was also informed of their soft cancellation early enough that they could move things around and wrap up all the main threads they wanted to take care of, ergo the final season feeling way more serialized than the show had ever been before. I also don't feel bad since AT was immediately brought back with HBO Max specials.
Sucks about Regular Show's situation, but I'm still pissed that they didn't focus more on an epilogue arc for Mordecai and Rigby. Most of the space stuff was lame, and that ending montage in the finale was the coolest shit. We never even got an episode about Rigby getting his driver's license. Until I hear that JG and his team did originally have plans to wrap things up for Mordo & Rigs across a string of several episodes, I'll assume they had poor judgment and left us with wasted potential. The David Bowie montage still go hard tho
The space shit WAS lame. The second it was about to not be lame they had to scramble to the finish line, leaving so much stuff they hinted at over time completely dropped. I remember when people were expecting a lot of shit from Season 7 to culminate in something, even involving Rigby's brother. Hell they cut their new boss in the first half of the season out of the series finale despite still being credited.
The worst part is, I just assumed "maybe we're overestimating how much was cut, if they really had a lot of stuff they'd have posted about it right?" but then Close Enough literally has all of its episodes get half of 30 minutes cut and all we get was "there was a lot of cool stuff, the crew did very well, but TBS was right the flow is much more streamlined now which is good." We know for a fact many CE episodes were half-hours and we lost a frickton of content, and none of it has been shared by the crew. There's no doubt in my mind if something this big can remain tightly closed off that RS for sure had a lot more going on we didn't get out of that last season, and will likely never hear of.
This will be their last biggest anniversary.
