Billy and Mandy and KND were both super popular and aired at basically the same time, enough for them to get a direct crossover episode. I don't know why some anons in the last thread were so sure KND was gonna win, in my mind it was a tossup over whether people as a whole preferred KND's lore and worldbuilding vs. Billy and Mandy's manic comedy.

It is but I can kind of see it honestly. Clarence was sort of a sleeper hit where it got more popular, even with kids, after it finished airing. CotC is popular now, but maybe people actually prefer Clarence now that they've given it a shot.

Clarence is slowly developing into a CN cult classic. The show was one of the best CN shows of the 2010s and one of the best slice-of-life cartoons in a long while, but was dismissed over its artstyle and the fact it was a episodic show in the peak of the serialization hype.
I mean, I do think 'Clarence' has its charms.
