the world of fiction is limited only by our imagination

unfortunately, as it has been discovered, the average, very very average human being's imagination is sadly limited

Anime is nothing but the same ideas and tropes with a new coat of paint. It's never truly different and refreshing until it takes heavy inspiration from the west and even then sometimes it's the same shit.

      >Anime is nothing but the same ideas and tropes with a new coat of paint.
That's literally just all Media, nothing new under the sun remember?

    >The animation medium can explore fantastical worlds and situations that would require obscene amounts of money be spent on sets and props or would be outright impossible
    >Every motherfricker in the industry wants to make "relatable" shows & movies about everyday people going to school or work
Stupid, self-worshipping c**tfarts. They are the death of imagination and aspiration.

      >Why won't big suit-men give me monies for my hecken coolarino ideas???

They're not in the "imagination" business kiddo. They're in the "make more money" business. Cartoons to them aren't art, they're business ventures. And for almost 100 years now "relatable" shows have been consistently profitable. That's business. Those who care about art now have the tools to make their own indie cartoons. And those who HAVE almost always start offering "PLUSHIES! PINS! MERCHHHHHHH!!!!" of their shows because they want their "art" to make them money as well.

This is 100% my gripe with anime
It’s the most uimaginative, uncreative shit ever. It’s literally all shit that can be performed better in live action and is more suited for that medium. Every single character ever is a human and they are 9/10 times in a school, and it usually follows a few genre tropes. You have this medium with unlimited potential and you decide you’re only going to make far lower quality Battle Royale or Degrassi shit?

Let's hear these ideas. Surely you have something to contribute that's not derivative, something fresh and original. Of course, you don't. You're silly homosexuals whose primary interests are inane complaints and slop surfing.

Because executives don't think good animation should be the joke, they live in the "The writing is the punchline, draw it was a live action sitcom, barely any cool camera angles or movements. Frick it." school of thought.
Hazbin Hotel's success may lead to good change in the adult animation industry.

Talent and genuine creativity is inherently limited unfortunately. The only people who usually get to make shows are just rich and don't need to have good ideas to make shows (this is the reason why ALL media tends to be shit) They're surrounded by yes men who they'll fire if they say the truth about their mediocre forgettable goyslop. I hate rich people so fricking much. This is partially why I love TADC so much. The creator has genuine talent, creativity, and love for the craft.
