Tough insane disturbing role to play, it would be easy to make it silly and comical but the story is very tragic, maybe young Jack Palance might have done his role, a young Sam Neil or Jack Nicholson but he would have to get in shape, its a weird story, Canadian professional wrestler, Japan, the USA, goes crazy maybe from roids and brain damage over the years, ends in murder and suicide, Benoit murdered his wife, Michael Ironside was a physical guy Ontario, Canadian might have done it in his prime, Aussie Vernon Wells, Dominic Purcell or maybe Neal McDonough, maybe Roddy Piper or a younger "Mickey" Rourke .
Eddie Guerrero converted him to Christianity and they had a homosexual bromance, then Eddie died of a heart attack due from ‘roiding too hard.
This all was made worse by his brain getting mushified by all the blows to the head he took throughout his career.
I think at that point he was a broken animal with nothing but hate and misery inside him, which he selfishly chose to inflict on his wife and child as opposed to just ack-ing himself straight away.
my theory is that he got into a heated argument with his wife, had some kind of rage attack and killed her. then decided to commit suicide. but killing the kid is genuinely baffling to me, there was no reason to do so.
Kevin Sullivan did it. Also there were some weird coincidences within what happened that night. For example, why did it say he was dead on his wikipedia article before the news broke out? Also, how come the ip adress of the person who put that on there is from wwe headquarters? So many questions, but me personally, i dont think he did it.
There were empty beer cans everywhere but neither Nancy or Chris had any alcohol in their system.
The Kevin Sullivan/Occult/Nancy conspiracy is interesting.
This. Really disproves the whole free will belief that people have. You are a slave to your biology unfortunately. Just like that one guy who shot up that college in the 60s. Brain trauma fricks you up bad
>Tests were conducted on Benoit's brain by Julian Bailes, the head of neurosurgery at West Virginia University, and results showed that "Benoit's brain was so severely damaged it resembled the brain of an 85-year-old Alzheimer's patient."
Frick this child choker, ‘member when Tommy Dreamer admitted to almost murder-suiciding himself and Paul Hayman with a shotgun live at Wrestlemania? That shit would’ve been kino.
Either Wahlberg
>Mark as young 90's WCW Benoit
>Donnie as 2000's Benoit aging like shit from the steroids and losing his mind to CTE
Would be kino.

I loved this homie so much as a kid. I started working out and wrestling because of him.
Cast him
Pedro Pascal
I don't have anything to add. Just reluctantly agree with you.

BENOIT
his death killed wwe for me
why he do it?
CTE
It was in the script
To stop the Vince dies angle that would have ruined WWE
Vince handed him the script for the ultimate heel turn and he agreed.
Eddie Guerrero converted him to Christianity and they had a homosexual bromance, then Eddie died of a heart attack due from ‘roiding too hard.

Nice try Kevin, we all know the truth

>let the dogs live
He wasn't a monster after all
can't leave your child without a mother or a father.

Kevin Sullivan
Timothee Chalamet

Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson
I have a feeling if the Iron Claw makes a ton of money we will be closer to making Chris Benoit kino
WWE would never willingly let anything about him get made
WWE doesn't own the rights to Chris Benoit the real person anyone could make a film about him
But you can't tell the Benoit story without WCW/WWE which would only leave his early life and career in Canada available.
