There wasn't any there. I remember Miura said they didn't really have enough time together for something like that to formulate. They were just too broken people, very weary of the world and took some comfort in each other. That's all their was to it. Then Casca got mind-broken and became a constant reminder of what Griffisu did to the Band of the Hawk
