Honest question why does everything have to have a point? Can’t it just be entertainment for entertainments sake.. don’t you get enough propaganda signaling from Hollywood israelites on a daily basis?
Just watch the manipulative bad boy save his moron brother from a life of group therapy
measuring based on low medium and high is moron behavior. children are taught that as basics but they're meant to develop beyond it. apparently you think you're superior for it. you're not wrong but you're not as smart as you think you are
Yes, do you really think nobody edits screenplays after the first draft? Do you really think there aren't entire committees, test screenings and other mechanisms that influence the final cut making it different and inserting "meaning" where there wasn't before? It might have happened less for Good Time and Uncut Gems but that doesn't mean it doesn't happen at all or much more elsewhere.

>People do it right the first time or not at all.
This line of thinking is precisely why modern film writing is such dogshit.
because when people with autism are children they grow up with cartoons that teach you lessons every episode. dont be a bully, dont steal, dont lie, etc. and people with autistm never grow up so they become adults expecting all other media to have a lesson at the end itself. and because they have autism and hate change they get very upset when something isnt what they expect them to be.
Life isn't fair. The only good in it is from those who fight the system and try to live free. The bad guys triumph, but their lives don't matter. Try to live while you can. Before it all goes wrong there seems like a chance. Stay with that, the alternative is cowardice and it's machinations are unbearable.
Closest thing to a message is that criminals are not necessarily bad people, but that it's a downwards spiral even if you're "doing it for the right reason." It's mostly just an anxiety simulator though, and is mostly there to watch a smart, charismatic scumbag dig himself deeper and deeper into a hole, when everything would've been better if he was too stupid to succeed at anything in the first place. Just constantly fricking up the lives of everyone around him.
I did, he has a very special guy kind of face. It's still kind of weird to me seeing Benny being so eloquent because he looks a bit like an ogre and I can't shake the image of him from Good Time
I think he is my current favorite, incredible screen presence. He's just got some factor that grabs your attention, I think it's partly his crazy facial proportions
I wonder what percentage of audience thought this guy was an actual moron.
I wondered if he didn't have some sort of actual disability. There's something about the rough complexion and lack of grooming (note the unibrow) that's very convincing.
Good Time is one of the only depictions of Autism from hollywood in the last decade where its not just being quiet but also having some kind of savant abilities.
Living with autism is hell on earth
i feel for you anon
Big pan 4 you
What was the message of this movie?
Just be a moron and everything will be ok? WTF?
Sometimes you're the problem.
Dont do stupid shit that will get you in trouble
Don't go to Jersey
It doesn’t have a point. Either does Uncut Gems.
I don’t understand the acclaim.
The least media illiterate Cinemaphile poster

Shut up moron
Uh huh. Bad day at group therapy today anon?
Seeking meaning in every piece of art is the ultimate midwit pursuit.

Do you think there's a group of writers in a room who scratch their heads and go
>but how do we make it mean something?
?
God I hope so.

the point was the guy was resourceful and driven by was wasting his life

>What was the message of this movie?
Not all movies have a message. Some times it's just a story with sad people.
Exploiting the mentally handicapped is bad

I was one of them

I did. He does a very convincing moron.
I'm racist and he looks like an arab, sooo...
what do you mean he's not moronic? at the end of the movie he's stuck in a home for moronic kids
I think he's talking about Benny Safdie.
yeah, he's in the home for moronic kids at the end. have you watched the movie?
unironically one of the best performances of all time
honestly, after seeing him in multiple roles I gotta say that Safdie is a damn good actor, he's got a presence you wouldnt expect
I think he is my current favorite, incredible screen presence. He's just got some factor that grabs your attention, I think it's partly his crazy facial proportions
I knew he was one of the directors but I was still very impressed. Best tard performance since Dead Man's Shoes.
The dangerous moron.
what movie
What a great scene. What a great film.
Good Time.

anti-greek film
rusanglogermcucks will never speak for Christians or Europeans.
Is this one of the scientist from Oppenheimer?
yes
me and a friend started calling morons pan handlers because of this movie
Did he go full moron?
Until someone builds a bigger pan
i like your films, whichever safdie is posting right now. be sure to make many more
Why did they screw up so bad with uncut gems after making this kino
they really didn’t
Honestly, this was the real Safdie’s kino. Uncut Gems is good but Good Time is a piece of art.
Do these israelites know other places exist outside New York?
>cause I touch the demon core and it hurt my hand
Good Time is one of the only depictions of Autism from hollywood in the last decade where its not just being quiet but also having some kind of savant abilities.
if i ever visit america i want to go to boston, or the greater boston area i like accent and it looks fun
how much of a good time was he looking at?
>moron in good time
>scientist in oppenheimer
>media goober in the curse
