Brad Pitt smokes a joint soaked in acid at the end of Once Upon A Time in Hollywood but that wouldn’t really do anything unless the filter was really soaked in it and it entered his bloodstream through his lips
Yeah but you haven't taken enough acid to realize that he actually didn't ingest any acid that day, he had a spontaneous spiritual experience nudging him to explore LSD more. What he experienced that day is incongruent with LSD in many ways, including how it was completely over a few hours later. Other people know this, and there's at least one by letter communication with Hoffman in which he himself says that this is a possibility. newbie

No, look into it. Or read his own account of what happened that day, and if you yourself have ever eaten LSD you will see that it makes no sense as an LSD trip.

How much lsd was he dosed with? If it was a small dose the peak could have been short lasting, relatively speaking to the usual 8-12+ hour experience. Also dermal dosing may be very different than oral dosing.

You are moronic. This is the dumbest thing I've ever from some burned out moron and I've heard many dumbass things from burned out morons. >On the way home, my condition began to assume threatening forms. Everything in my field of vision wavered and was distorted as if seen in a curved mirror. I also had the sensation of being unable to move from the spot. Nevertheless, my assistant later told me that we had travelled very rapidly. >The dizziness and sensation of fainting became so strong at times that I could no longer hold myself erect, and had to lie down on a sofa. My surroundings had now transformed themselves in more terrifying ways. Everything in the room spun around, and the familiar objects and pieces of furniture assumed grotesque, threatening forms. They were in continuous motion, animated, as if driven by an inner restlessness. >Even worse than these demonic transformations of the outer world, were the alterations that I perceived in myself, in my inner being. Every exertion of my will, every attempt to put an end to the disintegration of the outer world and the dissolution of my ego, seemed to be a wasted effort. A demon had invaded me, had taken possession of my body, mind, and soul. I jumped up and screamed, trying to free myself from him but then sank down again and lay helpless on the sofa. The substance, with which I wanted to experiment, had vanquished me. It was the demon that scornfully triumphed over my will. I was seized by the dreadful fear of going insane. I was taken to another world, another place, another time. My body seemed to be without sensation, lifeless, strange. Was I dying? Was this the transition? At times I believed myself to be outside my body, and then perceived clearly, as an outside observer, the complete tragedy of my situation.

Yeah but you can't take it too often or the high sucks. You need to wait a few weeks between tabs or double up. He could be on it a lot and fried to frick.
It's unironically one of the worst 'need more for same high' drugs using it regularly.
My improv comedy skills became incredible, or at least my friends tripping balls seemed to think so, until I panicked over everyone looking at me and hid inside my shirt for a twenty minutes.
Each trip can be different I believe and I've only done it once, but: for a while it felt like just being really high on weed, where I was giddy and just laughing at stupid shit, and I knew it hit me when I went downstairs and saw the tree outside my window had a chromatic aberration thing going on. Similar to the shimmer effect from "Annihilation". Something about this told me, and I was very certain about this, that the tree was "powerful".
I went for a walk listening to music and I found things more interesting to look at than ever before. I was looking up at clouds while crossing the street and thankfully a car stopped for my dumbass. After a while on the walk, I saw a guy and girl across the street and the guy was doing a silly walk. I instantly believed he was imitating me, that everybody knew I was on drugs and since there was a middle school nearby, I was scaring kids and causing a ruckus. So I panicked and called a sober friend who picked me up and drove me home. Never been more happy to see him.
When I got home I spent the last couple hours listening to music in bed, eyes closed, seeing whatever the sun shining on closed eyelids wanted to show me. Just strange visuals, some were dark like giant veganas with legs, spawning more of one another out of the veganas. I saw a throne of skulls being built while listening to "Takyon" and it exploded out to the bass at the end.
At some point, I was convinced I needed to take a bath but I ignored that. I also took a shit and looking at myself in the mirror felt disturbing. The whole shit was actually just uncomfortable.
I recommend doing it.
if you're doing it outside or especially at a festival or something it's amazing. even life changing for some. if you're just doing it in a shitty apartment with your bros it's just like a bunch of autistic people having a sleep over
It's all natural and you're not getting some mystery fluid in a vial or eating a piece of paper. Just know what strain youre taking, be careful to not eat too much of it at once on an empty stomach, and dont do it alone >t. ate a half ounce of albino penis envy (pic rel), connected to all alive and non alive things in the universe, realized my inner self, accepted the world as it was, and then got a visit by 8 cops and a ride in the weewoo wagon
Natural in the sense that there's no distillation or purification process. The fruiting body grows, you cut it off at the base after the gills split, and you eat it. I'm aware that all things come from natural sources in the sense that all things come from a thing that existed previously. But while a batch of acid can be inadvertently contaminated, or watered down, or swapped with an identical clear liquid, mushrooms merely are. I've never done LSD and probably never will, but I got some shrooms colonizing an old stump in my back yard now. Once they produce fruiting bodies I'll be 100% farm to table, so to speak. And anyone can do something like this, compared to LSD which requires a decent knowledge of chemistry and equipment
If you enjoy the process of harvesting them yourself then that's cool, my point was that in terms of effects and on your health that the natural/unnatural distinction doesn't matter. >I've never done LSD and probably never will
If you like shrooms you should consider giving it a try. My first psychedelic was shrooms but I prefer LSD because the headspace is clearer and its more energetic, and personally shrooms are a bit too introspective for my taste but if you like that then more power to you.
If you like doing things yourself, you should look into extracting DMT if you've never tried that either. That's an experience worth having.
Every time I take mushrooms it will be like 3 hours of unnerving anxiety and disorientation, and then suddenly I will come out of it feeling like I've been completely reborn into a euphoric state of bliss. Last time I managed to get myself to the beach at sunset and it really felt like I had died and found heaven. Anyway I kind of like acid more but mushrooms definitely feel like mire introspective and therapeutic experience.
I like taking small doses now, like 1 or 2 caps and go for a hike. It gives me the perfect level of introspective and aware so I can enjoy the environment.
When I take a larger dose, closer to 5g+ I usually just trip out at home doing whatever, but I always end up doing some rituals and casting spells in my back yard. Idk I treat mushrooms very religiously these days
Pretty relatable to my own experiences with shrooms.
It's interesting to me because for basically every other drug I've tried, the "going up" part of the experience is always the most enjoyable, and the comedown is always the disappointing part of the experience. For shrooms though its like the opposite. Going up is scary and disorienting, but coming down is a deeply euphoric experience and makes me feel like I've been reborn into my body (in a good way)
you start living manually. for most people this is a revelation and leads many to tell others of the awakening they had. but they can never put it into words. what they really experienced is being 100% present in life.
The one time I did acid I jumped in my pool and splashed around for 3 hours with an imaginary friendly mantaray
My friend got lost in my backyard, he believed it was a rain forest
It’s like a hyper reality. You feel intense waves of emotion and your senses get all heightened. The visuals can get pretty spectacular and are more interesting than shrooms IMO. I recommend doing it out in nature.
Only issue IMO is the come up can take a while and it can get a bit edgy waiting for the effects to really kick in.
visually: fractals, ferns and endlessly branching aztec-style patterns appear in surfaces. occasionally bigger more fully fleshed out hallucinations.once from the top of a cliff i looked down on the beach and estuary and they looked to me like a giant pirate ship crashed into the rocks. i tried to see what i knew was really there but could only see the pirate ship. when i told my friends they at first could see it normally but after seeing the pirate ship could only see it that way, even though we all knew that wasn't really there. but not hallucinations like you see in the movies. ie talking to people who aren't there, seeing fully-fleshed out imaginary entities walking around etc. just real things that already exist in your vision but your visual perception groups things in unexpected ways and coats them with this constant shimmer of moving fractal-fern-aztec shapes
audio: you hone in on different things, world seems somehow quieter and more distant with distinct punctuation on sounds you normally wouldn't focus on. things like birdsong seem unusually rhythmic and beautiful
mentally: thoughts become very palpable and the divide between your subjective moods and thoughts and the outer world are dissolved. attention span shortened but breadth of thought widens. can be easy for an anxious person (me) to get trapped in thought loops especially if doing it alone
i don't find it's good for creativity though i always prep my notebook and art pad just in case but in reality attention span too short to draw anything good. feels regrettable to do anything but experience the now on lsd, trying to divert that energy into some utility function (doing art, consooming media) feels quite gross and wrong somehow
socially: Awesome around comfy friends. Pretty awkward and horrible if you go out into public/encounter sober people. honestly just terrible having to try interact with a sober person
oh also you get a contant strobe light effect from the back of your eyes which is fun while the trip lasts but annoying when it's still pulsing behind your eyes and you're trying to sleep off the comedown
LSD is also kinda weak compared to the fricking sick research chems i used to get. if 2CE was still available i would hammer that everyday instead of lsd, that shit was way better
The only drug that ever got my attention was Salvia because it's supposed to be incredibly strong but only lasts 10 minutes, yet in that time people imagine themselves in whole different realities where they have a family with kids
Anyone tried it? How was it?
for most people it's more like pic related and it's so overwhelming in addition to causing dysphoria that it feels like the world ended/you died and you don't know you just smoked some gay plant
Salvia is the only drug that has ever really broke my brain. You’re supposed to take a big hit (preferably from a bong) and hold it. I did this in a friends car, in the rain. The rain droplets on his windshield began to resembled stars, and by the time I exhaled I was gone, in another place that I can’t describe. I was not seeing the earth it felt like I was looking directly at the cosmos I have no idea what o did or said for those 120 seconds or so, then o slowly came back to earth sweaty and very uncomfortable. Never did it again but watching others do it they often fall on the ground laughing and are unable to articulate properly. It was legal back then, not sure if it still is. You could buy it at any head shop.
>Salvia is the only drug that has ever really broke my brain
I've done many psychedelics and salvia was the most intense and alien. Scared to do it again but it's been years, so I may try it. Also, you have to get a really good hit, otherwise it does not work well, get a good proper bong for it to ensure you get the best lungfull.
Smoked it only twice. Once was fine and I was seeing what seemed to be pink elephants when I closed my eyes for a few minutes. The other time, I felt like I had pins and needles pinching every inch of me.
That's weird you've seen so many people laughing because it's a dysphoriant and "running away from the trip" is pretty common. Usually it's very much like the images I posted. A quote from my wife when we were teenagers and she tried to freak out and run away >I was on a never ending assembly line and I was being turned into little plastic people
This toyota commercial is also a good representation of the average salvia trip, visually
For me standard trip >immediately forget I smoked salvia >immediate terror >strong pulling sensation >extremely complex visual hallucinations of zippers, unfolding, compression and gears >this are part of the world >entire world is made of of small entities in clothes that are the color of wherever I am >other larger demonic entities laughing at me >machinery cranking pulling me apart/through the trip >right at the peak I'm back, usually trying to stumble away or yelling
Salvia made me feel like I was no longer human and was part of the non-organic environment around me. A deep mushroom trip is crazy but you still feel human emotions and fears, but with salvia you are somehow transformed into a non-human being for a few very intense minutes. Thats how it felt for me, that video you posted was nothing like it in my experience. It was scary because it was a very sudden shift into a different mindspace and that made it scary but awesome.
That's just kind of the "world made out of people" aspect. The main part of the trip for me and for a lot of people I've smoked it with seems like it's basically this
meant to post another image too
for most people it's more like pic related and it's so overwhelming in addition to causing dysphoria that it feels like the world ended/you died and you don't know you just smoked some gay plant
>with salvia you are somehow transformed into a non-human being for a few very intense minutes
For me it's always something very abstract and non-organic like one time I was a note (a chord? idk music terms) on a sheet of music
another time i was the gap between the headline and the main text of a newspaper article
it felt like i had to "do my job" in both instances as this abstract thing and was very stressful

kek this exactly. i described it to people and they just laugh because the experience is so alien to normal human being that you need to experience it to understand it.
Yea this is how it felt to me. I was no longer myself, I was no longer on earth, I was not seeing the environment around me or even in three dimensions. Incredibly disorienting and actually hallucinogenic unlike shrooms and LSD in which you are still yourself with an altered perspective and dilated pupils.
>ONE PILL MAKES YOU LARGER >AND ONE PILL MAKES YOU SMALL >AND THE ONES THAT MOTHER GIVES YOU >DON'T DO ANYTHING AT ALL >GO ASK ALICE WHEN SHE'S TEN FEET TALL
Eh, I’ve found film renditions of tripping to be fairly accurate. Especially “Butterfly” by Crazytown. I really want to see what happens to non-whites on DMT though, the machine elves really flip their shit and kick you out?

also that cig lying in that box for 6 months would have leached into each cig in there.
Only PCP works like that. Although if you are fricking about with liquid LSD it could go through skin contact.

This means literally nothing. Acid comes from ergot which comes from wheat.
Natural in the sense that there's no distillation or purification process. The fruiting body grows, you cut it off at the base after the gills split, and you eat it. oh also you get a contant strobe light effect from the back of your eyes which is fun while the trip lasts but annoying when it's still pulsing behind your eyes and you're trying to sleep off the comedown

Yea I was 18 then and basically just smoking weed and skateboarding all the time. I was not prepared.
A quote from my wife when we were teenagers and she tried to freak out and run away
>I was on a never ending assembly line and I was being turned into little plastic people
This toyota commercial is also a good representation of the average salvia trip, visually
For me standard trip
>immediately forget I smoked salvia
>immediate terror
>strong pulling sensation
>extremely complex visual hallucinations of zippers, unfolding, compression and gears
>this are part of the world
>entire world is made of of small entities in clothes that are the color of wherever I am
>other larger demonic entities laughing at me
>machinery cranking pulling me apart/through the trip
>right at the peak I'm back, usually trying to stumble away or yelling
meant to post another image too
Salvia made me feel like I was no longer human and was part of the non-organic environment around me.
The main part of the trip for me and for a lot of people I've smoked it with seems like it's basically this
>with salvia you are somehow transformed into a non-human being for a few very intense minutes
For me it's "DON'T YOU WANT SOMEBODY TO LOVE"
people who take psychedelics will never be as cool as opiod addicts.
Why not boaf
>Not Incense and Peppermints
>Iraq War movie
>IT ISNT ME starts blaring

>THERE MUST BE SOME KINDER WAY OUT OF HERE

Psychedelics are enjoying a big comeback after speed and MDMA in the 90s/00s, it's obvious in the popular media narratives and the visual designs.
psychs already had their moment like 5 years ago

It's actually "Lucy in the sky with Linus".

Eh, I’ve found film renditions of tripping to be fairly accurate. Especially “Butterfly” by Crazytown. I really want to see what happens to non-whites on DMT though, the machine elves really flip their shit and kick you out?
they denature all the proteins in your brain and you become even more nigtarded
for me it's research chemicals
what are your favorites?
only ever done 1cP-AL-LAD, it's fun, never taken more than one at a time though and limit it to once every few months
based, this is one of my faves too, it's like LSD-lite, but i've done it one or two times per week for months sometimes
>research chemicals

That happened to my friend a single time. And now he’s GAY.
