Is this really real, because i think someone's grandma would've liked I Am Weasel better (if they had a sense of humour) because of the likes of I.R Baboon and said to have nearly died watching it because she laughed so much also this story sounds familiar to that story of about someones grandparent being rushed out of the Movie Theatre when watching Space Chimps and dying shortly after?

Is Cinemaphile just becoming a series of recycled threads being made to bait newbies into responding? What's even the point of this?
Do you ever think David Feiss is embarrased that he had the most experience of all CN creators at the time (he was 38), yet he was completety BTFO by Genndy Tartarkovsky and Craig McCracken, who was 13 years younger and had far more successful shows?
CN booted him out shortly after his shows ended, and he never worked at CN Studios.
No idea, the last thing he did for CN was a short titled "Lost Cat". I heard Feiss made it as an obligation to CN and neither party had any intention of turning it into a series.
He actually made it in his own studio instead of CN.
Anyone else surprised Cow and Chicken only lasted from 1997-1999? They reran it for years that I thought it ended in like 2002. The characters never even showed up in CN City.
Wrong, Weasel was popular, but didn't last due to the closure of HB Productions and opening of CN Studios. The spinoff show only had 9 half hours (27 segments) so they could bring the show up for a total of 26 half hours. (79 7-minute segments).
Kind of like how I was surprised that The Amanda Show ended in 2002, since Nickelodeon reran that until 2007, which was the year Drake and Josh stopped airing new episodes
>"I Am My Lifetime" was made around the time of the 1996 Time Warner-Turner merger that brought Warner Bros. and Hanna-Barbera under one roof. According to Richard Pursel, the writers considered having elderly versions of Looney Tunes characters at Weasel's retirement home to take advantage of this, but in the end stuck to Hanna-Barbera characters since the writers were sure they could use them legally.
Sad!
Do you think entire networks are run by one person? The top person is a guy, but the people who actually do the day to day operations are women and leftists
>Maxwell Atoms
Yeah I’m beginning to see how his writing on this show helped influence Billy and Mandy. His episodes seem even weirder than the rest. And funnier too.
Real answer: New executives came in and shut Hanna-Barbera Productions to move production over to CN Studios.
Meme answer: His show sucked compared to the other creators.
Dexter was the most popular CN show at the time, so that got revived by CNS. Johnny Bravo (Under Kirk Tingblad) and PPG were still in production when the CN Studios turnover happened. Cow and Chicken didn't have that luxury sadly.
>Dexter was the most popular CN show
That explains why Dexter aired so much, though I noticed it didn't have the same merchandise luck that Powerpuff Girls did. Dexter had its share of merch, but Powerpuff was the most profitable series for Cartoon Network with tons of merch made
Even before PPG, Dexter got a ton of coverage. Magazine covers, toys, Macy Thanksgiving Balloon, a live action play etc...

Between Dexter's Lab, Johnny Bravo and Cow and Chicken, Dexter's Lab was by far the biggest show.

Is anyone here old enough to remember that sweepstakes where you called in to win some Dexter's Lab merch?
I fricking wanted that baseball cap, but I could never get through.
>Dexter was the most popular CN show

Yeah, but going by the current times now for which show has stood the test of time positively and remembered in the collective consciousness, Ed Edd N Eddy clearly won in part due to its longevity for the kids that grew up with it (adult critics/parents had disdain for it) and memorable quotes as the shift in 2002 for it became evidently the face of the network. Doesn't help that the other two dropped off far worse in their latter seasons, writing and animation wise (for Dexter). I think between the two Powerpuff Girls is more remembered than Dexter as due to its own violence in not expecting it from what would be deemed as a "girl's only" show, but also it being rebooted with an awful show is going to make people remember the old one fondly for comparison.
>Ed Edd N Eddy clearly won in part due to its longevity for the kids that grew up with it
Being a popular source for Youtube Poops probably helped with that.
I was randomly thinking about how The 90s Are All That regularly aired every single 90s Nicktoon EXCEPT KaBlam!, Aaahh!!! Real Monsters, and The Wild Thornberrys, all of which only aired every now and then on the block. All the others aired on the block regularly, except SpongeBob, which never aired since it's still going on
Even then, the only ones that aired for a noticeable amount of time were Rugrats, Hey Arnold, Doug, CatDog, and the last few years of the block they were airing Rocko every night
Let's celebrate hateful fart cartoon leaving checkered past for awhile!
This has been in my head since last week. I entered "ugliest weenie" in the Discord gif tab and found nothing.
Were the ratings not good? I was hoping it'd do well enough for the Destroy Us All movie to happen.
>Were the ratings not good? I was hoping it'd do well enough for the Destroy Us All movie to happen
It was an inside joke.
Was Billy and Mandy always a hateful fart cartoon or did it just evolve into that later on?
Samehomosexual
What a fricking lethal cartoon
I know!
Hatred
TOO FRICKING EARLY, YOU moron.

What are some irl memories you have, related to Cinemaphile stuff?
My grandma died in her chair while watching The Ugliest Weenie. Her last words were "I don't understand."

Why did they treat David like that though? Do they have something against Cow and Chicken?

He actually made it in his own studio instead of CN.

Feiss and Tartarkovsky still stay in contact since then, He did the end credits for Hotel Transylvania 4.

Why do they keep making grandma jokes? It wasn't funny the fourth time.

Nothing you say makes any sense, shut the frick up.
Anyone else surprised Cow and Chicken only lasted from 1997-1999? They reran it for years that I thought it ended in like 2002. The characters never even showed up in CN City.
Cow and chicken failed. That's why it never survived in the 2000s. I am Weasel is more successful.
Wrong, Weasel was popular, but didn't last due to the closure of HB Productions and opening of CN Studios. The spinoff show only had 9 half hours (27 segments) so they could bring the show up for a total of 26 half hours. (79 7-minute segments).

Love it.
So wholesome

Sad!
Who was the first person to shit on Johnny Quest?
Me
I.R. is pretty pathetic, bros.
This episode is just reference overdose
Billy & Mandy ends up doing this throughout seasons later on.
Which reminds me, the first Cow & Chicken episode Atoms worked on was a fricking Karate Kid parody. The guy is obsessed with references.
Did Maxwell Atoms wrote it?
He didn’t write episodes until Season 3 (Which is also where the show became good, these earlier episodes aren’t funny)
do they still spank newborns?
No, nowadays the newborns spank the doctors.
How come Pebbles and Bam Bam shrink their sizes?
Seriously though, what is taking them so long to bring in new content? Even C&C is limited to fridays
There is nothing else they can air. This is said every time this is asked
Was Johnny Bravo not air is due to some executives?
Yes. AS is run by women now
Huh? I thought it's still a guy.
Do you think entire networks are run by one person? The top person is a guy, but the people who actually do the day to day operations are women and leftists
I hope Cow and chicken, i am weasel, and evil con carne would get their own bumpers
was the ranger really the villain?
Ranger Smith did what?
E N D
Chicken goes through quite a lot of misfortune, doesn't he?
FOR WE ARE A PACK OF WEENIES
Ocean?
Why are Flem and Earl swimming naked together?
>ywn marry a girl with your bro
i can live with this
No you can't
>Bottle episode
Useless posts.
I agree, those post are pretty useless.
>Flem and Earl bathe together
I'm not sure what to take from that.
Tea
>Super cow
>no pants
>I. R. Don't
>I.R. Do
By far the worst I Am Weasel episode. Visually uninteresting (only takes place inside the church), weak plot and lacks any jokes.
Having 3 writers for a 7 minute cartoon is a bad idea.
I agree, one writer is better or if the writer is the same as director.
Yeah it's kinda weird. I do like how Flem and Earl are here though.
>Another bottle episode
So far the weakest cow and chicken episode segment is the ones from 5:30 PM
>German hairless chihuahua
Imagine being cucked by Ren.
Who is the person to marry on?
Which cartoon waifu are you going to marry?
Start of second half...
Stfu.
I know...
moron.
>6:00 PM
Oh look, it's the PPG narrator!
Same voice actor?
Yeah.
Ah, thanks for telling
>Tom Kenny as a steer
Heffer?
It's not Heffer...
Is that stupid image supposed to mean anything?
No
Then why bother posting it?
Can't they show Maxwell Atoms episodes? He's the only good writer.
Who did the secret figure skater story better Cow and Chicken of Anerican Dad?
I, Red Guy
I missed most of it
Still better than nothing
Billy cameo
Pretty sure it's a prototype
I love the Red Guy's bipolarism.
Same
Weasel seeks help
Haha funny apc joke
Why the frick would you post this? Looks like shit.
They blackwashed Admiral Bullets
The blind date has the same VA as Miss Bellum from Powerpuff Girl. This was her second voice acting ever.
Do cartoons today still doSigmund Freud episoes?
Who
moronic.
Well that was an awkward time to show that warning.
Reminds me of this: https://desuarchive.org/co/thread/137675242/#q137675242
Frick off.
>Oh no!
Hateful.
so feiss has a thing for blonde/blue women
tartikosfski has a thing for red/green women
what else is there
>fart cloud
>Maxwell Atoms
Yeah I’m beginning to see how his writing on this show helped influence Billy and Mandy. His episodes seem even weirder than the rest. And funnier too.
The later seasons have to be one of the better episodes
Black Sheep is literally me.
Same
>black cat!
They overuse Tom Kenny watch too fricking much. He voiced Longhorn Steer, Chachi the Seal, and now Black Sheep.
It's like they love him
Doesn't this show in general overuse voice actors? Is the cast even that big?
Charlie Adler, Tom Kenny, Dee Bradley Baker and Candi Milo are pretty much every character.
Which show
Is black sheep some sort of bad luck?
>Super cow
Always appreciate it
I wish it was ranting swede, not red face meat head guy
>Still shows seizure warning message
>Despite only appearing in that first segment in a split second
It's still happening
She must be referring to you, Augie.
>Enemy Camp
Good episode, Steve Marmel is another solid writer.
What did he do?
Made FOP and Danny Phantom good, Sonny with a Chance.
Ah, nice. Wasn't there was a guy who aldo nailed the FOP style while working on their during that time? It's not Butch.
That's Stephen Silver.
Oh I almost forget the name, it sounds so similar.
I like how whether or not Weasel and Baboon are friends or rivals depends on who wrote the episode. Endless possibilities really.
Lori Loud really let herself go
>Lori Loud really let herself go
I don't see it
Red guy carries the show
CHicken just seems to be just there most of the time. he has no antagonistical quirks or
So there exists wild, savage weasel and then talking weasels like I.M. Weasel?
>1 for ten bucks, 2 for twenty!
Red Guy is hilarious. Charlie Adler is a treasure.
Honestly Red Guy Deserved It.
>cow animation
have a nice day.

Ed Edd n Eddy had seasonal rot but it's still went from amazing to okayish. So not as bad as other shows. Plus still funnym

Nice
Unnecessary.
you the moment you came out of your mother's flesh cavern
Cow & Chicken had some weird episodes man.
I'm also confused

I really like Fleiss' style, it's a shame he never found greater success in the industry.
He worked on the Open Season franchise, which aren’t good, but that’s something.
