To give it some credit, some of the chibi counterpart designs actually look better than the actual shows themself, like Kiff for example.
More likely that it's low-effort content meant to appeal to the literal babies on iPads (and hardcore series fans who must consoom every piece of media related to their obsession).
from my understanding it's a compilation of already existing "Chibii Tiny Tales" shorts with some new material thrown in. I.E. disposable garbage for disney to quickly put out for schedule filler.
