It's the same kind of pedantic power-level bullshit derived entirely from in-media misleading visuals for unprovable fiction, except with the added "bonus" of ignoring that games are designed with human limitations in mind, and often conflate characters from different canons.
Their 1 Minute Melee videos are better because they avoid a lot of that tryhard shit and just focus on being fun little fanimations.

Yes. 5 years later. The problem with that is that the Sonic series powerscaled like a motherfricker after Shadow the Hedgehog, with Metal sort-of kept up. Meanwhile Zero's been rebuilt so many times it's a crapshoot if any given body of his has half the abilities they list.

The calculations for Sora are fricked. They use the Halloween Town keyhole seal scene to determine the speed of his Keyblade's magic, but don't actually reflect that the worlds in KH don't follow Earth's astronomy, or really any consistent astronomy at all (in-universe, this makes sense as the worlds of KH form depending on the heart of their world, which can change over time). They also say Sora's fast enough to dodge natural lightning, using the Ursula fight from DDD as evidence, which is hilarious since (1) Ursula's using lightning magic, not natural lightning, making the whole "return stroke" shit hilarious since all the player is doing is reacting to a coordination from said magic, and (2) DDD literally takes place in the dreams sleeping worlds and also dreams within THOSE dreams for Riku's story, so the physics altogether are fricked, hence why this game was able to introduce Flowmotion after Sora saw Neku doing it, and later implemented in the real world through magic.

And I want to elaborate on this one since it really annoys me now that I think about it.
Here's a list of every final boss in the console Sonic games after Shadow: A god of time, A genie with artifacts blessed with the powers of worldly creation, a primordial god responsible for the destruction of Earth in a continual cycle of death and reconstruction, a witch with magic so strong and meta that it can grant her world immortality, a fricking Eggman robot because new writers (but to be fair, you don't fight this one in a super form), a monster that can eat time itself instead of just compressing it, another Eggman robot because Lost World tried to be a sequel to Colors (but again, no Super), an Eggman robot that to be fair this time is powered by a gem that can warp realities and manifest illusions, and, finally, the incarnation of inevitable death and entropy itself. The fricked up thing is that Super Sonic never really powered up to match those, the stakes just increased and it started out invincible (I'm choosing to ignore that Darkspine and Excalibur took out two of those, since neither actually kill their villain). Metal Overlord took several hits from something that beat/killed all that shit, without any Emerald boost, and just converts to base form afterwards.
Most of the OP shit they give to Zero is from Command Mission, but there's a problem with that. Robot Zero isn't his only body. The robot body from that one ends up becoming Omega, which gets destroyed. The body he takes after that one then gets destroyed from a satellite re-entering orbit.
If they're going to pull that "we calculated Megaman can lift 5 gorillion tons and Zero's stronger," it's entirely fair to say that Metal bodies Zero.
This might seem like autism, and it probably is, but it's all the type of shit that Death Battle tries to include, yet they're entirely selective with mentioning.
The straw that broke the camel's back was his TF2 theory about Pyro's gender. People even called him out on how he lazily copied theories from some old Valve fan forums from 2009 regarding the Pyro's ambiguous gender and origin without coming up with his own.
His only semi decent theory was his original EarthBound theory, even though it wasn't all that great of won, but came up with interesting points.
I'll be honest with you, was a fan of this guy for a really long time. He does not make decent theories. I'd say 90% of his shit is copied from forums and reddit. His minecraft videos were praised by many as being some of his best and well researched, but I had seen nearly every single point in those videos already mentioned years before by smaller, more obscure youtubers. This guy is an utter hack, I do not believe anything he has done is original. And that's fine, if he were linking to the originals or saying "Im explaining this theory" but he passes it off as his own. You see this a lot with popular youtubers, hell even Pyrocynical is now getting accused of plagiarizing maybe two thirds of his Petscop video and passing it off as his own, and the only reason we're finding out now is because the original reddit/forum posts were that obscure
