This movie could have been great. It seemed as though they started filming with an unfinished script and then never really quite figured out wtf they were making by the end. I like the rumour that (this could be fake) in the original script, John actually gets killed by the T-800 and what happens, as a kind of twist of fate, Sam Worthington’s character gets a skin graft of John in that facility and continues the war as John would have. In the actual ending, John gets Sam’s human heart, but originally John was supposed to be totally replaced by a terminator that had basically gone rogue.
