four christmases. I like the scene where the grandpa goes on an extremely racist rant about Black folk and starts screaming about how they aren’t human beings
Watch it every year with my wife (started said tradition when we were dating). There's some really sad parts but that ending makes up for all of it and is really uplifting. >Buffalo gal won't you come out tonight
If you haven't seen it, I recommend
The color version is heresy and I weep over the fact that some people experience it that way for the first time because they're afraid of watching black and white films.
I've already watched jingle all the way, how the grinch stole christmas, muppet christmas carol and national lampoon christmas vaction. I will probably watch christmas vacation again because it is such a good film.
I hate Christmas this year because I'm single and alone and tired and also sober (doctor says I can't drink anymore). So I'm just gonna eat junkfood and watch fishtank probably
I want a sequel called Love Actually 2, with a mirrored/palindrome effect on the poster so it says 2 Actually Love, about how Emma Thompson's character is now a widow who never got over her husband cheating on her but his death still wounded her and her kids, and Liam Neeson's character is consoling her just like she consoled him, then they slowly realize that they'd rather just stick with each other instead of trying to find new spouses. His step-son also gets a storyline where he meets the girl he was in love with again. They were the only genuinely good stories in the movie, acting-wise.
What if we throw in that comic relief guy who went off to the US and immediately scored several women who fought over him? Turns out he fell and hit his head on the way to the airport and all that shit was just a coma dream. Now he lives in the same care home as that moronic guy who kept wienerblocking his sister. He has to prove to them that he's mentally capable of taking care of himself to be let out and with the help of a nurse and a little Christmas miracle he manages to pass the tests and set up a place to live etc. It ends with her asking him out on a date, now that he's no longer her patient, because he's actually acted sweet and vulnerable since his accident.
The only reason I consider rewatching it is because of Emma Thompson's story and her acting when she finds out, with Liam Neeson's story(mainly interactions with Emma) being the only other good story but ultimately not being able to compete. But I don't want to watch it for Christmas because Emma's story isn't a good fit for the holidays, it's too heart wrenching.
The only christmas movie that doesn't make me want to figuratively puke is Bad Santa. And it's got Waltz no2 from Jazz Suite in it and I really like that piece
Fate Stay/Night - Heaven's Feel Part 1: Presage Flower
Fate Stay/Night - Heaven's Feel Part 2: Lost butterfly
Fate Stay/Night - Heaven's Feel Part 3: Spring Song
Faste/Kalied Prisma Illya: Oath Under Snow
Edward Scissorhands

I got Home Alone out of the way.
Was thinking about The Santa Clause or Christmas Chronicles.

What are some sad Christmas movies that hit you right in the feels but turn out okay in the end
It's a wonderful life.
Watch it every year with my wife (started said tradition when we were dating). There's some really sad parts but that ending makes up for all of it and is really uplifting.
>Buffalo gal won't you come out tonight
If you haven't seen it, I recommend
Do you watch it in black and white or the colored version, though?
Typically black & white. I think there's been one year where we did the color. Is there a version you prefer?
The color version is heresy and I weep over the fact that some people experience it that way for the first time because they're afraid of watching black and white films.
>It's a wonderful life.
The Bundy version is my preferred take on the story.
>Al wishes he'd never been born.
>Is shown life would be significantly better for his family without him.
>Wants to live out of spite.
I've already watched jingle all the way, how the grinch stole christmas, muppet christmas carol and national lampoon christmas vaction. I will probably watch christmas vacation again because it is such a good film.

Nothing. I'm tired of Christmas movies. I'm going to drown out my in-laws with liquor.
>germans watch this unfunny short every fricking year
>its spreading to other countries
What the frick is wrong with yuropoors?
this board is so shit and recommends the same 5 movies in every genre.
What we watch every year, Pinky.

The porn couple is the only good story.

too honest of a story and too well written for Hollywood anon.

I finally watched it. I don't get the hype. Only story I really liked was Liam Neeson
The only reason I consider rewatching it is because of Emma Thompson's story and her acting when she finds out, with Liam Neeson's story(mainly interactions with Emma) being the only other good story but ultimately not being able to compete. It's not really a Christmas movie, it's christmas for like 5 minutes. They spend more time showing Ned's stripping at the end
Things I want to watch: Gremlins, Jingle All the Way, Miracle on 34th Street (the original), It's a Wonderful Life.
The only christmas movie that doesn't make me want to figuratively puke is Bad Santa. And it's got Waltz no2 from Jazz Suite in it and I really like that piece
