Charlie and especially Vaggie are pretty one dimensional, Alastor is super OP and openly shits on Lucifer without consequence. Husk and the gay spider are okay and the latter has the best character development.
The show dramatically improved in the last two episodes but I still think they'll fumble the bag in the finale.
The sinners (who become the demons) objectively aren't good, Hell is meant to be a punishment and Lucifer lets the angels kill them off every year because he thinks they suck and deserve it, only the two main characters think some of them can be redeemed and go to Heaven.
We got a good angel in the heaven episode, and there's a lore setup implying the Heaven literally does not know how souls get there. There are a bunch of hints, like in the angel song they say there's a lot of shit Charlie doesn't understand. I think there's going to be a plotline that something happened to God that the Heaven got busted and angels corrupt and refusing people attempting redemption.
